((Haha, it is first come first serve after all. But, I'll happily come in and take Little*Dreamer's character. It'll be a bit ironic, Little*Dreamer and Wondering Dreamer...Although, I'm not sure how their relationship will go. Eh, who knows?))

Elliot entered the slave shop with his eyes on his watch, watching the seconds continue to roll by, knowing he should've gotten there earlier. Although, he knew it was inevitable. Things had came up, igniting a quickened frenzy to get it done in time to even come to the shop. Elliot considered himself lucky he'd showed up at all.

Immediately he saw the emptiness of the slave shop. A lone slave was still behind the bars of a cage, whilst all the other's had been picked by a master and had been paid for and retrieved already, leaving the girl alone. From a distance he could make out the name tag below the bars of the cage, reading in fine print the name, 'Janie.' He quietly approached the cage, smiling from ear to ear. He had an abnormally friendly air that surrounded him in most situations, and it remained even now. He paused once he'd gotten to her cage, eyeing it for a moment with curious blue orbs.

"What's your name?" He asked, although he already knew it because of the name tag. He felt that it was a much more friendly approach to things. "I'm Elliot, by the way. Elliot Johnson."

Janie sank down in her cage turning around and leaning against the bars when no one came. She had given up waiting when she herd footsteps and then a voice. She turned around looking at the stranger that had approached her cage. She wet her lips trying to reply, she hadn't spoken for the longest time. She wasn't sure she was capable. "Janie" she managed to mutter softly in reply. She stared at him trying to figure out if he wanted her or if he had approached her just because she was the last one left. She still wasn't sure how she felt about being bought, but it had to be better then sticking around.

"Dee........" He breaths, a tremble in his voice. He shakes his head violently.

"- is no one you need to worry about." he finishes, obviously avoiding the question.

"Would you like some water?" He follows up almost immediately, not waiting for a response, leaving the clothes on the chair while he burst out of the room.

As he rushes out, a pained look crosses his face for a moment, casting a shadow on the rest of his appearance.

Cat looked down at the plate of food with a frown and a sad look in her eyes. She should know better than to ask her Master questions, it wasn't a slave's place. With a renewed vow to make her master happy, Catalina began to eat her food with her fingers. After the rice was finished, she began slurping up the yummiest soup she ever had. The chicken was gone in seconds and soon Cat sat in Dee's chair licking her fingers, happily awaiting her owner's return.

Lucious had taken his sweet time pooring the water. It took him all of ten full minutes just to poor a glass of water (which he regularly drinks). Walking back to the library room (where cat is), he holds two glasses of ice cold water, mentally preparing himself to re-enter the room. He breaths in short, soft breaths, trying to calm his nerves.

Opening the door softly, he enters, looking gingerly at Cat.

"Cat, i uh...... i'm sorry. I shouldn't be so secretive.... but i need time. Time go gather my heart..." He says, putting one cup in front of her, careful not to spill any of the cup.

He sits in the chair to the side of her, careful not to sit on her new clothes, reminding him that she had not put them on yet.

"oh, i forgot to ask! Would you like a shower? Then you could put your new clothes on!"

Cat gulped down the water that was set before her and set the empty glass down to answer her master. "I shouldn't have asked without permission, sir, I'm sorry. Master may take as much time as he pleases." It took her a moment to remember what a shower was, it being a very long time since she had been offered one. "I would be very grateful for a shower, that way I can look my best for you, sir." She answered him with a sweet smile on her face. Cat remembered another question she had for her new owner, but thought it best to wait before she asked it.

"Marvelous! Then follow me." He says, standing and holding out his hand for her to grab on to. In his other arm, he carries the clothes she said the liked the most, the ones with many colors and a foofy skirt.

TheyCallMeFox said:
(Sorry, I'm dropping out. Not enough action for my taste.)
(I might be with you. I think i'll acomplish my first goal before i decide that though.)

Cat giggled a bit as she took her Master's hand and stood up. He had given her food, nice shelter, kindness, pretty clothes, and now a shower. This confused her since she was taught that she would be given only what she needed to survive. "Master...Why are you showing me such kindness? What am I to do here? Did you get a slave to clean or maybe cook?" The questions came tumbling out before she could stop them. Curiosity killed the Cat couldn't be truer for her.

(hmm, yea, i'm not quite having fun here. I'll find an acceptable stopping point first though.)

"No...... i needed to fill a gap... in my heart." was the quiet response given by lucious. His head was down and so was his spirit. He walked with her throught the door way, into the grand Foyer where there are 6 doors. He takes the furthest left and in that room is a shower with a toilet in the corner. He stays at the door though.

"You may use the blue towel!"

Cat hesitantly closed the door and began taking a shower, scrubbing off every speck of dirt and thoroughly washing her hair until she was certain it would shine when it was dry. After washing the fur of her tail and ears, Cat turned off the shower and dried off, using the blue towel he had specified. Combing through her hair with her fingers to tame it, Cat quickly dressed in the poofy rainbow skirt and the black, glittery top that went with it. She giggled and stepped out of the room, twirling for her master to see the outfit. "Do you like it master?"

He only smiled and nodded. "haha, of course!" he said, a happily sad look coming across his face.

"I prepared a room for you.." He continues, pointing to a door, opposite to the one they're standing at.

"A room, just for me?" Cat asked with wide eyes as she carefully walked towards the door. Her master was so nice! ((I'm fine with just leaving it here if you are, I don't think I'll be staying either))

((Wait, so is everyone dropping out? Or is the role play still going to continue with the people still left over?))

"How long have you been all by yourself?" He asked, gesturing to the room around them, his gaze flickering across the empty cages around the room before looking back towards her, the lone person left within a cage. "Must've been quite lonely, am I right?" He spoke quietly, almost as if he knew from personal experience, though a smile still played upon his lips, filled with the carelessness that his voice lacked. He than raised a hand and used it to gesture a clerk over, turning towards him momentarily to tell him he was interested in buying the girl named Janie. The clerk smiled, seeming pleased that all the slaves were going to be sold, and nodded. He called another worker over to get Janie out of the cage whilst Elliot paid the man before thanking him for doing business with him so smoothly. He turned once more to look at Janie. "It must be quite uncomfortable in that cage, but you'll be out of it in a few moments." He than watched the worker unlock the cage and open up the door for Janie to get out.

"A day I think" she replies she watches him walk away and she moves timidly to the back of the cage watching the worker approach. Watching the cage door open she slowly made her way out not wanting to be forced out. She stands shakily, her legs aching from not having been able to stretch or stand on them in the cramped cage. A bunch of questions began swimming through her head, but she didn't ask not sure if she should say anything. She wanted to know why he wanted her and what her purpose would be. She wanted to know how she would be treated and were she was headed as well as many other things. Too nervous to ask or afraid of the answers she kept silent.

"Must be a long time to be held in a tiny cage like that. Must be nice to stretch your arms and legs." He said as he walked towards the door, waving at the clerk as he opened it and stepped outside, glancing over his shoulder to make sure she was still there close behind himself. "Anyways, I guess to give you an idea of everything we're fixing to be heading to my manor. You'll be doing things around the house, help keeps things organized, keep the garden watered, cook the occasional meal, things of that sort. Hopefully it won't be too much for you to handle. I don't normally hit slaves, nor do I dream of doing so. I suppose you could say I'm tolerant, patient even. If you don't view me that way, that's alright, I won't punish you for it." His voice was still friendly, composed, and calm. His smile was still in place, but it was now more serious. He continued walking until they stopped at a car. He climbed in quietly, keeping the door open for her to get in as well.

Janie follows behind Elliot listening to him speak. He had a nice voice, it was pleasant and friendly unlike those of the workers at the shop. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad as she had imagined. Noticing the open door she assumed she was supposed to get in. She climbed inside and shut the door not expecting anyone to get in behind her. She sat silently looking all around curiously having never been in a car this nice before. She remembered traveling inside a truck while stuck in one of those cages. That wasn't a very pleasant journey. This car was quite comfortable in comparison.
(Aww, but I just got started...)
