Hello RPN! This is a rather precious piece of work for me, as I've been working and tweaking the world of Λbsence for over a year. The universe is quite extensive, and this is one part of it. This is the world of Meerba, a world that blends colonial Portugal, Polynensia at large, Hawaii, spanish baroque and some other styles together, to create a tropical, fiery region. As I have brought over the Eclipse Powers of peculiar fruits from another iteration of Λbsence, and I ended up having a nava focus to this roleplay, I have drawn some inspiration from One Piece, though fret not, it's not meant to be your typical shonen experience. Instead, the original setting is drawing heavily from classics like Cowboy Bepop or Berserk, with many other influences as well. (Ergo Proxy, for example.) The main idea of this roleplay is to create a tightly-knitted Rogue (pirates) crew, and explore the secrets of Meerba, while trying to evade being captured by the all-mighty Horus Society. While I have established plenty of lore, both available for you as well as behind-the-scenes, I wanted to leave a bit of freedom for the players as well, so I will a.) allow players to create islands as they please, with themes, and styles, and cultures, and b.) create a Quest thread, in which you can suggest arcs and help running them too. I want this to be a rather long lasting, and perhaps a more sophisticated roleplay, for those who are craving some of that weeaboo action (like me) but who want more than flat romance trash.
