We live near a canyon.. so hawks.. crows and coyotes. Chipping gg doesn’t sound too bad

Definitely, but with those around, I’d say make sure to train gg is home by nightfall some way, and maybe prepare to see dead animals Gifts by your doorstep from your cat.
