Dude, that's a little wrong. You can get Google security cameras for like 100 - 150 bucks. I'm sure there are tons of other cheap options that use the internet or your WiFi and laptop.

no no for the installation and the high res you need to actually get footage that is worth having. The cost is less the cameras than it is the modem and storage. I've been to 4 different companies nothing short of £2000-£3000 will be suitable for what we need. I'm not an electrician and neither is the hubbo, with equipment that is so pricey and my own house i'd have to pay damages for if we fucked it up trying to install ourselves, I'm not willing to risk it
