...Lycoris (彼岸 Higan) is a member of the Galaxy Team’s Survey Corps, and a former member of the Medicine Corps and the Security Corps. Lycoris is primarily considered an outcast in Jubilife Village due to being very eccentric and erratic, as well as always covering his face - either with his hair or with a mask resembling a shiny Zoroark. He has a strong love of Pokemon, frequently befriending wild Pokemon and bringing them back to his home to stay with him. He also is intrigued by the time rift at the top of Mount Coronet, and frequently collects various trinkets that fall out or show up in Space-Time Distortions. He also seems to have a high pain tolerance, and tends to be very forgetful. Despite his quirks, he can still be serious at times and is an incredibly competent battler when he needs to be.
Lycoris was originally from Kalos where his ancestors worked as plague doctors during a major plague. Even after the plague was over, his family continued to work as back-alley doctors, continuing to use methods from ancient times that their ancestors would use despite most of them being fairly outdated. Lycoris in particular was known for being the fastest surgeon in his family, even before using anasthesia became a common practice. Eventually, Lycoris’s family began making less and less money from their medical work due to more modern medical methods becomming more commonplace, and his family refusing to stray away from their ancestor’s methods. Fearing homelessness, the family decided to part ways and travel to new regions to share their medical skills with the world and experience a life of their own. And so, Lycoris hopped on a boat and didn’t look back until he was in a new region.
When Lycoris arrived in Hisui, he was immediately put into work in the Galaxy Team’s Medicinal Corps due to his former work in the medical field. However, he was quickly removed from this position due to his methods being very out of the ordinary and extreme, and instead moved to the Security Corps. During this time Lycoris became increasingly fond of Pokemon, since he rarely saw any back in Kalos. It was this growing adoration, plus an event that involved him facing off against an Alpha Vespiquen, that led to him getting promoted to the Survey Corps.
His partner Pokemon is a Glameow - and the Pokemon he uses when he needs to battle consist of Typhlosion, Honchkrow, and Sneasler.
He also has a Chatot, Vulpix, Petilil, Togetic, and Zorua residing with him that he tends to refer to as “his” Pokemon - although those are technically still wild since he hasn’t caught them.

Rina is solidly a member of what the older folks like to call the "social media generation." She's loud, energetic, and absolutely hates waiting on things. She's become quite popular with the younger generation thanks to her PR Videos, and she likes to fancy herself a PokéInfluencer. She's never been interested in the standard Pokémon journey, going after badges and traveling across Sinnoh, or even trying to become a coordinator. Rina has always been fascinated by technology, fame, and going viral. Being born and raised in Jubilife City, her father a TV producer and her mother an ad executive, it was easy for her to get what she wanted, and she's used to having the finer things in life. She craves that instant gratification, and if she can't get it fast, then she gets annoyed real fast. She's not exactly sure how she ended up in this dumb, old village, but she knows she needs to get back home. FAST! Sadly, her Pokémon didn't make the jump with her, leaving her all by her lonesome! Do Pokémon even exist here?
