Realistic or Modern Lake Caradine

Ten teens were chosen to attend the Lake Caradine getaway. Five boys and five girls. Together they will live together in a large cabin donated by pop star Jennine Star. The teens will be living without cellphone service and tv reception. Goodluck!

Derek and Jessica walked up to the cabin, "well princess, are you excited for no electronics?" Derek said to Jessica with a smirk. He knew she hated the nickname "princess" but he calls her it just to bug her. They hsd been best friends since they were in diapers, by the way they act people would think they're dating, but they're not.


Jessica punched his shoulder "you're the one who wouldn't last a week." She laughed a bit, but her eyes went wide and she started backing away when an evil grin touched Dereks lips, "what are you gonna do Derek?" She asked cautiously.


Derek just shrugged nonchalantly, but quickly picked her up and threw her over his shoulder, "Derek out me down!" She squealed and tried to escape as he walked toward the lake, "Derek don't you da-" he threw her in the water.


"The summer has begun" Derek said cooly with a smile on his face.

 

[Paravine]

Reese stood outside the cabin and sighs. She was not going to survive without wifi for half a day. Luckily she still had her camera so taking pictures was still an option. She just needed to avoid everyone in order to really survive this place. Not long after she hears a splash and some shouting going on by the pool.


"Great..." Reese thought and walks in the other direction towards the basketball court.

Ryker was one of the first people to arrive, so he was already sitting upstairs in the cabin. He heard Reese below him, for they already welcomed each other. Ryker sighed and rolled in the bed to where he faced the ceiling, raising his arms and pawing at the air due to boredom. He wanted to meet new people but, they were probably the "Swag burh, haha ylo bro" type of people.

Reese dribbles the basketball, did a formless shot and..missed. It ended up hitting some guy standing by the pool on the head.


"Shooot," she mutters and hesitantly walks over

Sophie was sitting by the lake reading a book when a guy came walking towards the lake and threw the girl in. She laughed a little to herself, they looked like a pretty cute couple. She wasn't that annoyed about having to leave her electronics behind, she only used her phone to contact her parents anyway. The only thing that did bum her out was that her library was on her e-reader and that had to stay home. She saw people gathering by the basketball court. Sophie closed her book and decided it'll be a long stay if she didn't at least try to make friend, so she walked over. As she was walking over she saw someone get nailed in the head with a basketball. She walked up to the guy "a-are you okay?" she asked quietly.

"Ow!" Derek said rubbing the back of his head snd turned to see who hit him in the head with the basketball, but his angry scowl lightened, "you know, if you were a dude I woulda beat your face in, but you're a hot chick... so your safe" he smiled and picked up the ball, "here ya go." He tossed her the ball. He looked at the other girl "yes, I am thanks" he winked and looked at the girls.


"Derek! You'll pay for that!" Jessica screamed at him and climbed out of the water, "oh hey!" Jessica smiled at the girl while ringing her hair out, "Derek, ill get you later" she stuck out her tongue and walked into the cabin. She grabbed her bag which was set by the door and went up the stairs "hellooooo" she said, seeing if anyone was there (( @Verrici could Jessica and Ryker be besties? Haha))

Ryker shuffled a bit to see the random voice talking to him. He blushed, only because of well, it was a beautiful girl. Though he is into guys he can still compliment girls who deserve it and such but yada yada. Ryker sat up on his bed and closed his book. "Hi.." He awkwardly sat there not saying anything due to his well. Awkwardness.

 

[Paravine]

Reese nods in thanks but she was scowling in her head. Boys. They were all the same. She'd rather have one punch her than compliment her face. Once out of earshot, Reese got back to practicing her basketball skills alone. Had to admit that was the most fun she had that day.


"If only there was another person to play with.." She muttered under her breathe and continued doing one pointers

Sophie smiled when Derek winked at her. Then she looked over at Reese and walked over to her "You might want to increase your angle of trajectory next time, and increasing the velocity might help too." Realizing she's sounding like a huge nerd she stopped "or you could just tuck your elbow in a bit" she suggested quietly.

Jessica smiled brightly at the boy, "awee no need to be shy around me! I'm Jessica by the way! Uhhhh my friend threw me in the water... so I'm gonna go change, be right back!" She ran to her room and changed into a pale blue bikini, black shorts and a purple crop top. She walked back to the boys room. He seemed shy and awkward so she would make him comfortable, "so where sre you from?" She sat on the bed beside him.


Derek raised an eyebrow at the girls rudeness "telling me your name would be nice!" He shouted to her and grinned, he was going to have fun bugging her all summer. he turned ariund and took his shirt off as well as his jeans, he went into the water and swam quite a ways out, and started floating on his back.

" O-oh. I am from Colorado. Nothing special.." Ryker tried as hard as he could to never make eye contact cause it would make him shake due to anxiety. He then tried not staring at the girls body cause then she would get the wrong message.. He looked at his crossed lap and would try his best to be social.

 

[Paravine]

Reese stops and gave the girl a soft smile. She tried the new angle and the ball went in perfectly and gasped in awe. "You can be my new mentor!" Reese cries hugging the other girl and let's go.


"I'm Reese, who're you?"

Jessica smiled brightly, "thats really cool. Derek and I grew up in a small town, parties, boring days, Netflix filled nights blah blah blah. Now that's nothing special. What's your name?" She smiled crossing her legs and smiling. Jessica had tons of gay friends at school, and a slight suspicion of the boy being gay slipped into her mind, but she didn't say anything. It would make him even more uncomfortable. And she wasn't completely sure either.

Sophie, surprised by her reaction, stiffens when she hugged her. "I'm Sophie." she said. Trying her best to be social she attempted to keep the conversation going, "looks like you two might be good friends" she said sarcastically referring to Derek. The ball rolled towards sophie and she picked it up dribbling a bit as she talked with Reese.

"Pssh right. The last thing I want is another guy on my heel." Her features darkened but she regained composure. "So... What do you wanna do now?" Reese asks trying to escape boredom

The red and black dressed seemed to float in the air behind her as she made her way to wear the voices had come from. A smile came on her face as she noticed the lake as she was a great swimmer and it was one of the things she liked most. Her emerald gaze moved over the several people that were interacting with each other. At least one of them seemed to be more her kind of people, at first sight of course. "Hey everybody, sorry for being late" She started as she moved closer to the group. Unlike her appearance might tell she wasn't the typically shy, silent girl. She just liked this style and yes maybe she was a bit more of a doom thinker and her humor was a bit on the dark side, but she was quite gentle and sweet in general. "I'm Tehuri Blacmore and what did I miss?" She asked as she played with a strand of her black slight curled hair. At least the introductions were done now on her behalf...

Sophie gave Reese her ball back "I was going to continue reading my book over by the lake" She says pulling her book from her bag. "You're more than welcomed to sit with me, I can't promise it'll be any fun though" She smiled "Unless you have a book you're reading then we can read together" she said eagerly, as her nerdy side comes to the surface. Sophie notices a new girl walking up to the group and gives her a small smile. "Hi I'm Sophie, and you didn't miss much. I'm going to read by the lake now, I'll catch you guys later" Sophie walks off towards the lake, glancing over at Derek who is floating around, and then sitting down under a tree and continuing where she left off.

Reese nodded but declined the invitation and continued with basketball. Not long after, she got bored. A devious plan formed into her mind as she placed the ball down. "Time for more fun~" she thought.


Reese set up her equipment which were a straw and some spitballs. It wasn't much but that was all she could find for now. She sees a couple of girls walking around but didn't shoot at them. Nope. Not them. The guys.


Afterwards, she sees the same boy she accidentally threw a basketball at and aims for his body. Reese took a shot and hid herself behind a tree.

 

[RyanJXavier]

Drop. Ryan blinked his eyes as he pinched another drop of eye drops onto his blue irises. The stress from the previous week caused his eyesight to change...for the worse. It wasn't that bad though. He wasn't blind. According to the optometrist his need for lenses would only be temporary. Ryan just needed some rest after dealing with his little mma competition and some other family matters. He screwed the cap back onto the little bottle and placed it onto a table. His eyesight kept adjusting due to the variations of stress and fun he had throughout the previous year. Hopefully this experience would help him gain his regular eyesight back. They seem like nice people. Ryan thought to himself as he looked out the window of the cabin. The teen walked outside feeling the wind blow around him. Time to make some friends.

Reese sees a guy walk out from the cabin and shoots a spitball at him before hiding (@RyanJXavier )


She couldn't care less if she was hated on. "Haters gonna hate but I'm having fun," she thought, still hiding behind a tree. At least she was having a great time annoying the crap out if people-maybe.

"Hm?" Ryan turned to the direction where the spitball came from as he flung it off his neck and onto the ground. He only saw a tree. Wait what was that? The teen squinted his eyes to see a few strands of red hair flowing from the side of the trunk. This situation reminded him of the time his younger brother and sister decided to try and attack him and his twin with spitballs and marshmallow guns. "Oh, oh man. What a hit! Man down" Ryan said not getting any closer to the tree. "Right in the neck. Call the doctor I'm losing blood fast all because of a yuck bullet that hit my neck" He added. With that being said he walked over to the tree and looked past the side of it seeing his enemy, "No really, nice hit".
