[Labyrinth Land] LL Questions and Concerns

If that's the abyssal Ariel, what's Ursula like?

Serious question though. Just how much liberty do we have for the appearance of our items? I kinda sorta hope I might be able to claim some of the stuff came from the Geared Ones.

I'm good with just going to the eastern murderdungeon, btw. Posting here as to not clutter the IC thread.

Ah, so someone got it. Oh, and Abyssal Ursula? You don't want to know, it's not pretty. As for appearance? I really don't have a set aesthetic in mind for technology. The town of HFB is pretty Baroque in style in my mind, and the Dorf Lucius met had a flintlock rifle, so, there's that. Whatever you want, though.

I rolled for our travel event... but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with the special region table.

If this is an unknown region, nothing happens. Otherwise, apply the result from the Special Region Events Table.

Is there any in game lore about Ogrekin or Harpies? Are they EVIL ? Or do they vary as much as human-folk in temperament?

Nothing in the book. Although unless you want to diplomacy first, East is probably going to drive them off. Just to make it possible to talk it out later if you still want.

Is adopting Harpy-chan and teaching her to talk like a respectable member of society a possibility?

By rule it's possible really. Recruiting monster citizens is part of the game and all. Dunno about this particular harpy race though.

Ogrekin and Hapries (Which aren't in the book, funnily enough, leading me to have to homebrew them after I checked) aren't evil. Few races are, as I see them. They have their own individual temperaments and thoughts, much like people. Granted, their base temperament might be different than humans would be, but I wouldn't outright call this difference evil.

It's possible, but may take a bit of doing. The latter bit, I mean. She'd probably go with you ,anyways. Harpies are curious little buggers.

Yoyoyo, up next is Sir East-A-Lot, and his hit single, "I like big swords, and I cannot lie"

Edit: Duuurrr. Curse my blindness.

Dial 1900Eastalot and kick them nasty thoughts. Baby got swords. Anywho, gonna wait for other people to react but I felt it important to bring this up early. The carnage skill lets me refresh my action if I kill an opponent letting me move again. For the sake of the rp since it isn't a live session, I won't just proceed to utterly annihilate everything before anyone can act. Just something to recall before we change init that east can move again. Included it in the spoiler below to make it easier.

Carnage Class Skill

Type Assist

Target Self

Check None

You may use this Skill whenever a character you attacked becomes Dead or Unconscious during

Combat. You immediately become Free to Act, and may Move and Attack one additional time.

Also, init challenge = defense is a handy rule. I'll keep it in mind.

I thought initiative was handled as a group.

Also are we doing combat now?

How many things to hit are there?

Init is indeed handled as a group, and a representative rolls it. King rolled it this time and won. Yes to combat. Four left after East splattered two.
