Detective Rascal Hadley strives for knowledge and to explore the unknown so he would most likely have approached Nik about film/media - that being an area that Hadley isn't too informed about. So, I believe they could have bonded about Nik discussing his passion with Hadley and perhaps Hadley throwing in his own idea every once in a while. Though I don't know whether the fact that Hadley and Pari are enemies would deter Nik from being friends with him.

Well, Nik would've probably gotten the idea that Hadley and Pari aren't exactly 'friends', but if Hadley was willing to come up to Nik and let him infodump on him, then I wouldn't see why Nik wouldn't see Hadley as at least okay. If Hadley kept it up though, like whenever he wanted to talk about a movie he saw or a idea he had and he came to Nik, then Nik would be more positive to Hadley. I guess if Hadley wanted to be friends, he would have to come back every once and a while.

I like going through horoscope traits and finding which birthday would suit my characters cause I'm some extra sometimes and I think it's interesting to do it that way cause usually when I think of dates I always end up putting it on the same numbers and months pfft.

I can see Estelle actually not minding Hadley! However, seeing as they're not in the same clique she would never understand why he chose the Gurus and not the Beloved. Perhaps, maybe, they were once childhood friends? Like If Hadley went to parties with his parents and if his parents went to any socializing parties perhaps? I can see Estelle's parents actually becoming acquainted with Hadley's due to their position and what they do in the Kingdom!

However, because they chose separate cliques and he hadn't joined the Beloveds, I think that'll cause Estelle to be stifled by it, however, because he actually becams the leader of the Gurus and watched how he got into that position, she would find that 100% admirable cause she likes people who actually make work (which is ironic cause people think she doesn't cause of her background).
I think it'll be interesting to have them have a perhaps friendly rival? She obviously won't showcase that she is on friendly terms with Hadley. But because they're in Student Gov. together they will clash due to their difference in ideas but similarity in nature but also wanting to be the top tier, maybe?

Auricula Hadley would be love to have banter with Sabina. He would enjoy the fact neither of them would hold back in repartee, thus I imagine whenever they were in World History together they would attack each other with the odd witty comment.

Yess, Sabina would love more people to banter with. World History would also be a lot more fun with someone like him. Also, they could probably be coffee/cafe hopping friends? Seeing as he likes caffeine and Sabina is always up for a good cup of coffee.

Neri I think that Hadley and Rosalina could have connected through Rosalina's love of poetry, as Hadley enjoys many forms of literature. Though he isn't known for it, maybe Rosalina could like some of Hadley's dad's poetry also.

I think that Rosalina would definitely talk poetry with Hadley and she has a thing for older men would be a fan of his dad's poetry! She loves going to the cafe to write and grab a cup of coffee so maybe that is kind of their thing to meet up there and chat? She would probably even start picking up some more good reads and expanding her love for literature a bit and try her hand in maybe short stories.

JujuBee Whenever Hadley would find himself at Club Disco and Van was the DJ, maybe Hadley could have given out the rare compliment to him about his music taste and Van's ability, causing them to speak with one another when they saw each other at the club or around school.

That is so adorable! Like I might steal that idea for future characters because that is so me extra.

I can totally see them being childhood friends, Hadley's parents would have gone to any social events around town so they would have dragged Hadley along with them. Like maybe his mother was her families go to for anything medical related as well? If they were childhood friends then that would mean she knew his sister so perhaps Hadley leaned on her when she died but Estelle kinda pushed him away and that's why they drifted? Definitely, their parents would probably have known each other and been around each others homes a couple of times.

Yay! I'm glad you concur. Sure, I'm up for them being coffee/caffeine hopping buddies. Hadley will accept anyone who will encourage his intake of caffeine.

Totally died at that stroked out bit haha. Rosalina can be added to the list of people who Hadley will just drink coffee with, he'll be up for going there and chatting. Perhaps they could give each other tips for each on their literature strengths as well, like Hadley gives her tips for writing short stories while Rosalina gives him advice on writing poetry and they read their work to each other and shit.

Yes yes yes to everything you've said! The Plantagenets would probably trust them since Hadley's family would be their main go to! And yes, Estelle would have known his twin sister, and I think... she may have been closer to her and so that could be the reason she drifted from Hadley as well cause despite being fraternal they still are twins.

It would have been hard on Estelle to have left Hadley during his time of need but it was really hard on her too cause being with Hadley reminded her of his sister too much. And, perhaps Hadley also had drifted and pushed her away as well since he also was so focused on his studies , it didn't really hit him until they were separated and in different cliques?

So even til now she won't admit it but feels guilty for leaving and pushing him away but seeing his success, she feels proud?

I think I'll add him to her friends area! (:

Profoundcactus I swear I'm not purposely making it so Hadley is enemies with your characters lol, however, Hadley would find how optimistic Hugo is very irritating. So, he would take it upon himself to shut him down every once in a while out of not being able to stand how positive he is.

I see how it is XD I feel like Hugo's response to Hadley's annoyance would be trying to make him laugh with stupid jokes which would probably just annoy him more.

Dude it's cool! I think you still can, it's like one sided hatred? For Hugo it would take something very fuck up to happen in game for him to declare someone an enemy. But I totally can see how he would be very annoying to Hadley and Hugo is in the same chemistry as Hadley and I can see Hadley hating him more because Hugo would disrupt the class and such-such

I'm just going to say it again: I think everyone has such amazing, thought-out, and complex characters and I'm so excited to start writing with them! I think the plan is to get the IC up and running some time next week. CC and I are working hard making sure we've got everything that we need together.

In the meantime, if anyone would like to create some suggestions for the first event of the school year we will add it to the list!
