Basics

Name: Kal-El Superboy

Age & Gender: Sixteen year old Male

Hometown: Hobb's Ferry Naval Base, Metropolis

Hair: Black

Eyes: Bright Blue

Height: 5"6

Physique: Toned Musculature

Orgin

Kal-El’s Origin, as the origin had been told many time starts out the same way. Kryptonians Jor-El and Lara Lor-van become aware of Krypton's impending destruction and Jor-El begins constructing a spacecraft that would carry their son, Kal-El, to Earth. During Krypton's last moments, Jor-El places young Kal-El in the spacecraft and launches it leaving Jor-El and his wife to die as the spacecraft barely escapes Krypton's fate.

The spacecraft, after a three year long trek through space, lands in the rural United States, where it is found by s couple young couple, Jonathan and Martha Kent, who adopt Kal-El and name him Clark. As Clark grows up on Earth, he and his adoptive parents discover that he has begun developing superhuman powers and the Kents teach Clark, to the best of their abilities, how to use these powers responsibly. But that is where the similarity to the usual origin ends.

Seven years later, Clark was pulled out of his classroom by the school principle, eventually to find out by the town sheriff that two hours before, there was a large explosion at the Kent Farm and that his parents had died in the blast. For the next few weeks, Clark’s closest friend, Pete Ross, and his family had taken in the orphan and tried their best to comfort him the best they could. Pete, who had already known of Clark’s powers and had made a sworn oath to painfully die a million deaths if he were ever to reveal Clark for what he was, was especially comforting as other than Jonathan and Martha Kent, he knew him best.

Unfortunately, before the adoption papers could come through, two men in black suits arrived at the door with papers stating that the Kents had a back up provider if anything were to happen to them. Apparently Jonathan had a half brother on his mother’s side, by the name of Aaron Ford whom was named Clark’s God Father. Promised that he could come visit Pete anytime he wished, Clark left Smallville for a new life on Hobb’s Ferry Naval Base.

At first Clark had disliked this man claiming to be his uncle as he had a hard time believing this to be true, but the man did know of the boy‘s abilities in great detail, and according to government records Uncle Aaron’s claim as god father was true. After a year had passed by he got used to the man and accepted him as family. However he told the man to never call him Clark. Since his memories of his parents was still too painful anyone called him by his name and the memories. Instead he remembered his parents telling him the name they’d discovered a little later on when they tried toying with the ship a little in hopes to know a little more about him so they could raise him properly. So from that point on only he was allowed to call himself Clark. Everyone else would just call him Kal or Kal-El.

Unfortunately for Kal, however, the boy still had been developing powers, and quickly it seemed that he could no longer hide them, as according to Aaron, more and more of his superiors were starting to ask questions. With his Uncle in the Navy and them living on a base, someone would find out eventually if they continued to hide them for too long, there could be great consequences. So at twelve his uncle offered the boy a solution, a different rout than Jonathan tried to guide him into taking. Instead of hiding his powers and keep them secret, why not use them for the greater good. Uncle Aaron then told him that he had a couple of buddies who were working on a project. A project where a young group of amazingly gifted teens would be teamed up together to take down the evils that no normal human would ever stand a chance against. If he came forward with his powers, maybe they would let him become part of that team and help keep the world safe from people who wish to harm it.

Hesitant at first, Kal finally agreed and in hardly anytime at all, just enough to get the paperwork in order, his name was signed up to be part of the Titan’s Initiative. However, he would need a name, or rather a special name. A name that wouldn’t turn the results of his good deeds against those who he cared for. And after some thought, it finally came to mind. It had arrived in the ship as he had and he had used it ever since. A seemingly indestructible red blanket with a large S on it. Though he had no clue what it meant where he was from, he hoped eventually he would find out. But as for now, he would just have to fashion a new name.

Years later, at the age of Seventeen, and in a new uniform made from the finest material and technology the military had to offer, and with some new training on how to use his abilities in combat situations, Kal would hopefully make a new name for himself that the world would never forget. But until then, ‘Superboy’ would have to do.

Powers

Yellow Star Radiation Absorption: Because of his Kryptonian physiology, Kal-El has the ability to absorb the sun’s radiation which give him the powers and abilities listed below. The longer he is exposed to the yellow star, the more powerful he becomes. The Absorption of Yellow Star Radiation also allows Clark to heal from about any wound within seconds to even minutes.

Heat Vision Vision/ Ice Breath : Kal-El can create and shoot beams of bright red laser-like heat out from his eyes while from his mouth he can issue waves of sheer cold from his mouth. Temperatures vary on his concentration or mood.

Heightened attributes, senses and Flight: Kal’s natural attributes such as strength, speed, endurance, and agility are heightened. Kal’s Senses such as hearing and sight are also heightened. Both his attributes and Senses will continue to grow as Kal get’s older. Also has the power of flight.

X-ray and Spectrum Vision: Kal has the abilities to look through walls. The only thing this power can‘t look through is lead. He also has an ability that allows him to see in other shades of light, such as infrared. Unfortunately he has not discovered these abilities.

Weaknesses

Kryptonite: Kal is weak to Kryptonite. Green, the most common form when the infamous rock is finally discovered, can weaken him greatly and if exposed long enough is will be believed to have the ability to kill him. Other colored variations of these radiated rocks that once were part of his home planet, had different effects on him and will either most likely take longer to discover, or may never even be discovered.

Magic and Psychic abilities. Kal is also weak to magic and some psychic abilities such as telepathy and psychokinesis.

Red Sun Radiation: One of Kal’s greatest weaknesses as radiation from a red star will temporarily take his abilities away from him, leaving him as weak and vulnerable as any normal human. This effect lasts as long as Kal is under it’s influence. Even then he has to be exposed to the radiation of a yellow star to regain his abilities.

Aditionally wears boots of the same red material.

Kal has many of these uniforms and though they may be good with wind resistance, they can't withstand impacts from many high grade bullets or weapons.

Basics

Name: H'lii Jardun Hayley Jordan

Age & Gender: Fifteen Year Old Female

Hometown: Planet Ferris Classified

Hair: Blue

Eyes: Blue

Height: 5"1

Physique: Avarage build. Similar to human girls her age.

Orgin

H’lii of the river clan, the Jardun, was born fifteen years ago on a planet three sectors away from that of Earth‘s. Compared to Earth, the people of Ferris, a species of people evolved from cat like creatures who call themselves Ferra, are still in their infancy stage. Though they bare weapons of primitive metals, and eat nothing but the meats of other animals, they consider themselves a civilized society, rarely ever warring amongst clans. Instead they prefer to live peacefully as they worship their many gods for their continuing guidance as well as for luck on the great hunts. Unfortunately some gods do not wish to grant them total peace, and occasions war will break out.

Unlike very few of the females of the clan, H’lii was a priestess in training, who’s sworn duty was to carry on the traditional worship of Ciser, the Great God and creator of all Ferrin life, as the Ferra were said to have been born by water. And though the Mother Priestess, who continued to promise her husband, the clan chief, that H’lii would eventually grow into her role, all the while reminding him that priestesses were chosen by Ciser himself, the child’s air-headed and carefree ways proved time and again that she was no where close to becoming the next priestess. And what’s more she showed no desire to even spend time with the chief’s son and her future husband, as part of her duty as Priestess to be one of the candidates who would marry the next chief in line once a Mother Priestess was once again chosen so that the bond between clan and the guiding hand of Ciser could remain bonded.

One night, when H’lii was twelve cycles old, she was in the village temple of Ciser, charged with the ever so boring task filling water into the sacred basin to be cleansed, and under the watchful eye of Mother Priestess to make sure the job got done, when horrific sounds of shouting and screaming broke out through the night. Just as Mother Priestess had barely the time to hide H’lii behind one of the beautifully carved statues of Ciser, men, apparently of another clan came charging in and slaying the woman who begged for them to leave the shrine in peace. The men, however believing the temple was empty, quickly left and joined the battle outside.

Fortunately, the Jardun were successful in defeating their attackers, but when the chief saw that H’lii had lived and his wife had died, he became angry and blamed H’lii, announcing to what was left of the clan that H’lii strayed too far from her duties as Priestess in training and that out of anger the god Ciser turned a blind eye on them and allowed their attackers to kill so many. Afterwards he and the village banished her, sending her off with little food to show the gods that they could commit one last act of mercy to the girl, just as their gods would demand. The only redemption, as there had never been a banished priestess, was to return to the village with ten scalps of the most dangerous animals to prove her value as a member of the clan.

Now, no longer of the Jardun, H’lii was forced from her home in the forest and journeyed out into the rolling plains where food was more scarce. Though she managed to keep herself hydrated under the hot sun, as she was following the river, she could not swim and therefore could not wade deep enough to where the fish were. And when the fish did swim out towards the shallows she could not catch one as they were too quick and, being trained as a priestess, she had never been taught.

Four nights into her exile, starving and having only managed to catch a smaller creature for nourishment, H’lii begged for the gods’ forgiveness so that she may return home. As if the gods had replied, a bright green light appeared in the night sky, which she followed for hours, lead away from the river and towards the mountains. Just after the crack of dawn, as H’lii began to fear that the light would disappear with the rest of her gods it fell at the base of the mountain with a large explosion that could be heard for miles.

Cautiously, H’lii approached the unearthed trench and followed it to it’s source where she found a large black rock, and poking out of the front a head-sized green orb. At first all H’lii could do was stare at the smoldering rock, but as it continued to do nothing else she became curious and reached out to touch it. The orb glowed a brilliant green before the orb separated from the rock formed around her coiled itself around her finge, becoming a ring, and immediacy after the frightened child heard a voice telling her not to be afraid, that it would not harm her and introduced itself as the Starheart.

Though Starheart tried to explain exactly what it was and where it came from, H’lii could not make sence of it’s story. Instead, she figured, the orb had to be some gift from the gods. When the confusing parts of the long conversation, the orb questioned why it felt such sadness and hunger from her. After her explanation of what happened to her and what she needed to do to return to the good graces of her people Starheart explained that as long as she wore the ring on her finger, it could bestow upon her unimaginable power and therefore could help her hunt down all one hundred animals.

For two monthss it helped her find food, taught and trained her the basics of how to use the ring, and on the eighth day of the second month of her exile she returned with the pelts. At the sight of her, and the glowing godly clothes she now wore, the Chief took it as a sign that he had wronged the gods and begged her forgiveness. After a grand celebration she was once again a member of the Jardun Clan, though not a priestess as she had refused to take on that title once again.

A few nights later the Starheart began to explain to H’lii that there were more people beyond the stars and her gods, which he tried to explain to her were other planets. Though the Starheart could not make her understand, the girl began to believe that these ‘planets’ she called gods weren’t the gods themselves, but rather the homes of the gods. At least, or so the Starheart thought, that it was a start. And with a little bit of verbal nudging the Starheart convinced her to explore, at least just past the moons and before she knew it she was out in the void passed the three moons.

Excited, H’lii didn’t return and set out amongst the stars where she visited other planets, some empty, while others full of life. For three years she hopped from planet to planet, on occasions helping civilisations solve problems that were out of normal people’s hands, once stopping a volcano from wiping out a village of people larger than any village she had seen in her life. She could fit at least one hundred of her own villages inside with more room to spare. However, shortly after her fifteenth birthday, for Starheart had kept track of her age for her, She ran into another being like her, a man, one who wore a ring. But unlike hers, this one was yellow.

Immediately the man started to throw around words she barely rememberd Starheart explaining to her those three years ago, such as Oa and Green Lanterns. But before the girl could make sense of what was going on, the man attacked her and the first actual battle for her life began. Beams of yellow fired and H’lii attempted to ward the man off with her construct bows, shields, and swords the two sped towards a bright blue planet and her attacker forced her into it’s atmosphere. As she fought desperately for her life, the battle finally ended as she managed to shove her sword through his chest as she drove him into the ground. The last sight she remembered was the yellow ring flying off his finger and zipping off into the blue sky.

When she had awoken she found herself laying on a something she recognized, from other planets, as a bed dressed in some sort of white sheet as some important looking man stood over her. Welcoming her to the planet earth and introducing himself as a general of the United States of America, the man talked with her asking questions, to which most she answered honestly. However, as Starheart had had made her promise, she should never tell anyone where she was from and she held her promise. However upon her telling the man how she had arrived on earth, the man made her an offer.

His government, Starheart had to explain what t-hat word meant again, would offer her shelter from any threat until she was ready to leave again. In return all she would have to do is help out a team of other’s around her age to help protect this world from dangerous super powered criminals. After Starheart telling her that there were more men and women out there with rings who would have no love for her, she decided it was probably best if she agreed to help out for a while. She really had no desire to run into one of those people again, and if these other teens were like the general said, then she could definitely afford to have some allies if she was ever in trouble again.

With in the next few days she continued to recover and even found some inspiration in a Magazine, a weirdly shaped scroll the general gave her, for a new uniform so she could fit in better while in combat as, what Starheart told her to call herself, the Green Lantern. Though hopefully it would never have to come down to that. She was sure that most that she would really have to do is get to know the other titans. After all, there was no planet with very many super powered beings who constantly sought trouble… Right?

Powers

Star-Heart/Power Ring:

Star-Heart's most distinctive effect is the generation of green, solid-light constructs, the precise physical nature of which has never been specified. The size, complexity, and strength of these constructs is limited only by the ring-bearer's bodily energy as well as imagination and concentration. Whatever the wearer imagines, the ring will create.

When active, a power ring will encase its user in a protective, life-supporting force field. This force field allows the user to fly, travel through inhospitable environments (outer space, underwater, etc.), and enter hyperspace in order to move vast distances quickly. The ring also generates its wearer's uniform: the uniform appears over their normal attire and vanishes at the user's will. The uniform varies from wearer to wearer, based on anatomy, personal preference, and the social norms of their race.

Weaknesses

Unlike a normal Green Lantern, H'lii's ring (an entity by the name of Star-Heart) does not require a lantern to keep it's charge. Instead It's charge is based on the natural energy of H'lii's body. If she begins to tire and weaken, her ring's abilities, both passive and active, will also begin to weaken, and the more she puts into the ring the more she will tire and weaken. At lowest, H'lii will pass out and the only function the ring would have is life support.

In addition H'lii would need to concentrate to keep a construct together. If not it'll dissapate and leave her defenseless, apart from the shielding barrier of the ring, until she could form another construct.

Little notes regarding physiology of Ferra:

H'lii's race, the Ferra evolved from cat-like creatures that once inhabited her planet. Over time they began to walk on two legs rather than four and many great changes occured. They eventually lost necessity for tails and eventually stopped growing them all together. Their pointed ears, for example, began to flatten and move down the sides of their heads till they were flat against both sides like a humans. Also their fur stopped growing everywhere on their body. Instead Hair now grows out from the top, sides, and back of their heads. Some, like H'lii have blue hair, but other Ferra have been known to have black, white, purple, red or even pink hair.

Their Eyes, which match their hair, no longer have the capability of seeing in the dark as this trait began to leave once they discovered fire and began to use it more and more often.

Ferra are also completely incapable of digesting any kind of vegetation and have a strict meat diet. Despite this, the Ferra have, over time, developed teeth that allow them the process of chewing. Though not out of necessity. Most Ferra believe that the Gods gave their ancestors a way to separate themselves from the rest of the carnivorous animals, but the real truth is quite more simple. Out of their desire to eat in a fashion they deemed civilized early clans forced their people to eat in a way that eventually evolved into the process of chewing. Ferra of this day and age now have teeth similar to that of a humans. The only differenc are the extra sharp and slightly longer canines giving their teeth a similar appearance to what humans have imagined a vampire would have.
Little notes regarding the mannerisms of Ferra:

To be worked on...

Bruce Wayne ♦ Seventeen ♦ Male ♦ Gotham City ♦ FC Dunno

2dqr9xc.jpg

As Bruce Wayne he is a good natured young man, ready to help others in need. One who cares about his city just as his parents were and is willing to put as much money as he can into turning it into the Gotham that it needs to become. However for appearance sake so people wouldn’t get the idea that he is this rumored winged crusader now flying above buildings and swooping down on unsuspecting criminals he appears to be quite immature who greatly enjoys his money and doing what any rich boy would do in his position, such as frequent rich people dinner parties, drive expensive cars, pick up popular chicks he doesn’t even know, and a few other rich kid shenanigans here and there.

However as batman the immaturity is thrown right out the window and is replaced by a more serious persona who seems to get a kick out of solving mysteries and scaring the piss out of criminals. Normally he never really shows much emotion except for anger but when around children he always lightens his tone a bit so he wouldn‘t scare them. Despite what criminals may think, he is very careful not to truly hurt anyone too bad. But if they called his bluff he is always really good at making sure the fear takes hold in their hearts. Or at least it’s this way with most criminals.

Krypton was a highly technological world with a society based obsessed with the advancement of Science and discovery. However, Krypton’s people were prideful and foolish. Upon discovering they could harvest the core of the planet for an even greater energy , they did so with out hesitation or restraint. One could argue that they didn’t know the possible repercussions of harvesting the core, but they would be lying as they had all been warned of the risks by a man by the name of Jor-El who believed whole heartedly that they would listen. But to his dismay the rest of Krypton ignored the warnings, believing that no harm could come to their world, as it was filled with men and women who could come up with a solution for even the worst case scenario.

Then the earth quakes started and Jor-El and his wife Lara Lor-van became increasingly aware of Krypton's impending destruction. At first he dedicated on trying to come up with a solution for Krypton’s doom Jor-El did everything in his power to try and prevent it. However Jor-El began to realize it was a futile attempt. With little time Jor-El fell to his last resort. It was too late for him, his wife, and the rest of Krypton, but as for his unborn child, he wasn’t going to let share the same fate, not if he could help it. With the help of his wife and his personal creation, an AI he named Brainiac, he created a spacecraft that would carry their child off planet and set on a charted flight to a little blue planet called Earth where the child could live amongst a species similar in appearance to kryptonians. During Krypton's last moments, Lara-Van gave birth to a boy, Kal-El, and after the best farewells they could muster in such a short amount of time, they him with a blanket baring their crest and placed their in the spacecraft, launching it. The spacecraft barely escaping Krypton's fate.

The spacecraft, thanks to the boost of the phantom drive, landed two weeks later, in the rural United States, where it is found by s couple of young motorists , Thomas and Martha Wayne, along with their butler, Alfred pennyworth, who adopt Kal-El and name him Bruce and take him back to Gotham City. As Bruce grew up on Earth, he and his adoptive parents discover that he had begun developing superhuman powers and, to the best of their abilities, teach Bruce how to use these powers responsibly.

Bruce’s childhood, to say the least, was a wonderful one. He had loving parents, a loyal and caring, and was raised with the best of moral. Finally when he was Ten, his parents told him of his origin, showing him the ship he landed in, which they had hidden in a cavern they discovered deep underneath the house, and also presented him with the indestructible red blanket they found him wrapped up in. At first the boy was distraught that he wasn’t their actual flesh and blood sun, but was quickly comforted as they assured him that they saw him only as if he were and they would continue to love him till the day they died. Unfortunately, that time came sooner than later.

One night after they were walking and were just passing the alleyway beside it when Martha was pulled into the darkness by a man in a long coat, a glinting gun pointed directly at her head. Waving he father and son in after him, the man in the coat demanded the father’s wallet telling him that if Thomas’s father didn’t do as he said, he’d pull the trigger on his wife, and then he’d turn his gun on his son. Trying to keep himself as well as the gunman calm, Thomas pulled his wallet out of his jacket and handed it to the man. But as the man took it he smiled. A loud bang echoed through the alleyway and Bruce could smell the hot fresh blood hit the air. A second later Bruce felt himself being pushed out of the way and watched as his father stepped in front of him. Another bang and Thomas fell to the ground leaving Bruce standing there in shock, watching his parent’s lifeless bodies as if hoping that they’d get up. Then the man turned the gun on Bruce as the boy looked up at his father’s and mother’s murderer. But shortly after the man froze, his expression going from that of sinister to terror as he saw the boy’s eyes.

When the cops arrived, witnesses said they only heard the gunshots go off, saw a red flash of light coming from the alleyway followed by a scream and then saw a young boy crying over his parents just opposite of the gunman who had a still sizzling two holes in his head.

That night was chalked up to a mystery by many, and though he was asked about the death of the gunman multiple times, Bruce refused to tell the truth.

For the next couple of years, Bruce blamed himself. He was fast, faster than anyone in the world, and far stronger. He could have stopped that man, but he had frozen, and now they were dead because of him.

Four times with in the next couple of years, Bruce tried to runaway from home, believing that he should no longer live in his parent’s house and on three of the four occasions Alfred, the only man in the world who seemed to have loved him, found him back at the spot his parents were killed. The fourth time, however, he ran the opposite way, but didn’t make it far, only to fall into a crevice in the earth. The fall seemed to be several seconds long but eventually he felt his back collide against solid rock.

About a week after Alfred heard the door to the cellar open and when he turned the corner he saw Bruce covered in dirt and grime and looking scared out of his mind saying he didn’t want to go back down there with all those monsters down there.

Two months later Alfred decided it was best If the boy were to leave Wayne Manor, Leave Gotham for a while and sent him off to his old boarding school in England where Bruce wouldn’t return until he was nearly sixteen.

Upon Bruce’s return he was met by Alfred, or someone who looked like Alfred. However, seemingly with no intention to hide what he truly was, the old Butler introduced himself as Brainiac, an A.I. that his biological father, Jor-El, had created and uploaded into his ship as a protector that would remain dormant until the day it was needed and now had created it self a hologram projector in every room inside the house and every yard outside the house. And when Bruce asked where the real Alfred was, Brainiac gave him the gravest news he had heard in a long time. The original Alfred had died of a heart attack shortly after he had left for England and that Brainiac was now taking his appearance to make sure his master would be taken care of.

After about two months of losing the last of his family, and trying to get used to this new A.I. that wore the old man’s face, Bruce began working on something he began plotting over in England. At first the suit was a joke and he knew it, just holes cut into sewn up black bed sheets and a symbol representing the creature that now showed it’s ugly face in, or rather the second creature. The first had been dead and buried for as long as his parents had.

But when Alfred, the name Brainiac now took, heard Bruce’s plan and saw the suit he objected he destroyed it. There was no way he was going to let his young master step outside in that. One morning, about a week later, Alfred told Bruce there was something he wanted to show him. Curiously, Bruce followed down into the cellar and into the cave Bruce feared so much. Though it didn’t look like it used to anymore. Apparently while he was gone the new Alfred had made use of the cave.

“Originally I made it so I could best keep an eye on the house.” Alfred said pointing towards the back wall where sat large computer, bigger than anything Bruce had ever seen. “Judging by the new path it appears you are taking I’ve concluded that you could have more use for it than I do.”

“I thought you didn’t want me to pursue that plan.” Bruce had replied.

But Alfred only replied. “Negative, I just didn’t want you in that suit, it’s not fit for the last survivor of the house of El to wear such a horrendous garment. I think ‘this’ might be more to your liking.” And the butler held out what looked to be another suit. Better and more durable looking.

With the glowing red bat symbol reflecting in his eyes Bruce smiled and took the suit studying it. “Alfred” he said with a grin before patting the hard light hologram on the back. “We need to talk to you about your way of speaking”

H'lii of the Jardun (Haylee Jordan) ♦ Fourteen ♦ Female ♦ Gotham City (Eventually Coast City) ♦ FC Sinon

2m5csci.jpg

2zr29o9.jpg

28h39d3.jpg

To start of it is best to say, H’lii is a very good natured being. She’s happy, friendly, and loves more than anything else, to help people. However, she is also very naïve and very optimistic always looking for the good in every one and every situation, making her sometimes unable to tell whether someone has bad or good intentions if the proof isn’t there to smack her in her face. Though she is highly moral and refuses to do anything that she considers wrong. Killing for instance, can be wrong if done for any other reason other than to protect oneself from great harm or to protect another from said harm.

H’lii is also a very dangerous combination of curious, ditzy and klutzy making her a literal walking series of disasters. From meeting new people, discovering things she’d never known about, or even going places she hadn’t discovered yet, she is a trouble magnets. People who know her, know very well to keep breakable and/or valuable objects out of her reach as her curiosity will take hold very quickly and she likes to touch. She has already broken a great many things in the Wayne Manor.

People who know her also know not to give her tasks that require a vast amounts of dedication as they‘d most likely never get finished as she‘d have probably forgotten. To add insult to injury she also feels that she has to prove that she can do things right, which just only adds to her path of destruction. Luckily she doesn’t get lost very often, however, thanks to Star Heart. Though there have been times she’d ended up places not even Starheart could figure out how she’d gotten there.

Though these particular three aspects of her personality way heavily against her, she does have a few redeeming qualities. When she’s helping people or if the situation’s serious enough she’s surprisingly highly coordinated, though still she may still cause a little bit of trouble of her own.

Other small aspects about H’lii are that she loves to laze about, is attracted to dangling objects, and hates wearing anything that’ll cover too much skin as in her culture the body is meant to please the eye. To cover most areas of the body would be an act of shame or grief, depending on the attire. She also hates wearing shoes or gloves, or rather anything that covers her hands or feet. However she understands that in order to be out in public she must follow some codes of conduct and that means covering up skin that's deemed inappropriate to show, especially when Bruce Wayne throws his occasional formal party.

Also, H'lii is a highly superstitious being and even though Starheart constantly explains the best he can about tecnology in ways she'd understand, she still believes it's magic of some sort. Also everything that happens is the will of the gods, whether good or bad. If something is bad then bad gods, for some reason or other, willed it into happening while the good gods gave her and others it seems powers to fight against it.

And last but not least, her tail gives away her emotional states, or at least to some one who’s studied her Emotional patterns. When she’s happy or content, which is almost always, her tail swishes lightly back and forth in a lazily risin angle. When she’s excited it tends to swish a little faster with a slight quiver running through it. When she’s afraid the tail is low and wrapped around one of her legs, this being a sign of comfort. When she’s sad the tail is limp though the tip still likes to curl around one leg for comfort. When she’s concentrating on something her tail curls around her waist as assurance that it doesn’t distract her from what has her attention. When she’s curious her tail takes the shape of something similar to a question mark. And finally when she’s angry or furious, her tail bristles and sticks out a certain angle. The higher the angle the more upset she is.

Upon seeing her awake the man disappeared right out of thin air, and shortly after a boy a few years older than her entering the room. Introducing himself as Bruce Wayne and assuring that he had no intention of harming her, he made her an offer. If she were to help him in a matter involving a matter, a possibly dangerous matter that could effect the lives of many, He would offer her asylum in his home, probably the safest place on the planet Earth, or at least the safest according to him.

Though he gave no ultimatum to his offer, H’lii took the offer after a night’s thought. If she could have the chance to help other people, like she had done on other planets, she would take it. Shortly after Bruce shared a secret of his that he had her promise she would never share with anyone else, even the others he was planning on recruiting. In return for her solemn promise Bruce had his servant, a kindly man by the name of Alfred Pennyworth, do something he referred to as "Hacking into the government's computers" and making her a "U.S. Citizen" what ever that meant. Though apparently that was supposed to be a secret as well.
