It is only because this is an elimination game with a ratio of 1:2, this way unless there is two times of supporter for a character that character will get eliminated eventually. In a 2:3 or 3:4 ratio Secret wouldn't be eliminated.

Not entirely true. It also depends on how little of a life and how dedicated a certain character's supporters - or a certain character's attackers - are to the cause.


If Character A is wildly popular, but her three supporters can't be bothered but to log in once every nine hours, and Character B has a dedicated supporter who's, say, timed his or her cell phone to go off every three hours to remind him/her to make his move, the game is effectively static.

The smarter thing to do is to bribe four or five friends who already have accounts but never use them to show up and cluster-fuck the character you want to lose. You may not be able to save one you want to win, but you can damn sure make sure that the only ones left to survive are the obscure ones.


Even smarter than that would be to use sock puppetry, but that would be easily detectable and really stupid.

This is iterating not dissimilarly to the Prisoner's Dilemna.


Q thoughtlessly attacked a character I hold dear, so I retaliated. J takes it personally, retaliates in kind. I offer an olive branch, J takes it, Q ignores it and attacks my character again, this time with malice, I tell him that's that and attack his character again, J ignores the olive branch and attacks my character, and I (rightly) accuse J of treason, retaliating for my attack on an entirely different person.


It's pointless. So here's how this is going to work.


I'm going to downgrade someone other than Karen. In return, you do not touch Mew Cai.


Or so help me, I will round up all the folks I know who have accounts and lurk here and I'll bribe them however I have to to ensure that Karen goes on the scrapheap as well.
