Knight in Shining Blood and Guts (Potato and gogojojo331)

[Potato]

She stops in her tracks, crossing her arms and sighing. "The closest city is about a mile from here. We can go, or we can stay in the woods." She says, tapping her foot slighlty.

"Well, woods for now, I wager. We aren't prepared for the city." He looked around, dragging the bike with him.

 

[Potato]

Stepping off of the road Prince entered the woods and found a nice clearing for them to set up camp. She gathers some sticks and leaves together in a makeshift campfire, and used a leaf and her small cigarette lighter to start it. Blowing on the fire she watched as it grew in size, warm enough to keep them from being too cold, and also warm enough to cook them a small meal. "I have beans." She says, throwing her bag on the ground and pulling out two cans of beans. "We can warm them up with the fire."

"Ooh!" He said. "Haven't had those in a while....Haven't had anything in a while..." He said to her, and my stomach grumbles.

 

[Potato]

She uses her knife to open the cans, and she sets them inside the fire, not far enough to be engulfed, but far enough to be warmed.

"So..." He says to her. "What did you do before all of this?" He looked around

 

[Potato]

"I was in my freshman year of college." She says, grabbing her can of beans and motioning for him to do the same. She then grabbed a pack of plastic forks and handed him one, and used another to scoop beans out of her can.

"You seemed to be well practiced." He said, a bit afraid of that fact. Was she a psycho? An escapee fresh from the ward?

 

[Potato]

"What in fighting?" She asks, before laughing at the look he gave her. "NO, I'm not going to murder you. Before all this, my dad was an F.B.I agent, he taught me all I know."

...sure she is. He just shrugged it off and ate the beans. "We should set up some traps here." He looked around.

 

[Potato]

"Yeah." She says, standing up and finding a coil of wire in her bag. "Here, you have fun with that."

"...why in the hell do you have that?" He looked at her. How the hell did this girl have so much preparation?

 

[Potato]

"Like I said." She starts. "My father taught me everything I know." She says poking the fire and rolling out her sleeping bag. "Do you have a mat?" She asks, referring to the sleeping bag.

He shook his head. "I'm sorry, I didn't plan for the zombie apocalypse like you!"

 

[Potato]

"Just trying to help." She says raising her hands in defense. "Screw it!" She says, kicking out the campfire and rolling her sleeping bag back up and attaching it to the top of her pack. "I'm out, you have fun doing this on your own. Also, keep the wire. She says, and she storms away from the campsite and to teh road.

"Get Back here!" He shouted at her, and grabbed her hand. "We need to stick together, alright?" He sighed and looked around. "These types of things are what make the zombies win. Our failure to cooperate. We need to stick together."

 

[Potato]

"You're the one screaming at me in the middle of zombie infested woods, so its not me whose the problem, its you." She says, yanking her hand away from him and glowering.

"Because I'm scared, okay?" He said, looking at her. "And it just scares me that in all that mess, that you are perfectly calm."

 

[Potato]

"You have no choice than to be calm in situations like this." She says, slinging her bag down and looking him in the eyes. "If you get scared, or freak out, it's just going to make things worse." She says, her voice completely even.

"I know..." He said to you, and lays down on the grass, using his hand as a pillow. "It's getting late."

 

[Potato]

She nods, and walks a bit away from him before laying down her sleeping bag and going to sleep.

He fidgeted in his sleep due to the nightmares due to all of what is going on in the world, what was happening. He mumbled in his sleep.

 

[Potato]

Prince didn't sleep, she stared at the darkness in front of her. When she heard him mumble she turned towards him and whispered. "You awake?"

"MATT NO!!!" He shouted in a panic, and sweat was poring down his face. His heart was racing, and you noticed how fragile he is

 

[Potato]

Prince jumps into action and shakes him rapidly. "Wake up, wake up!" She whisper yells, hearing moans come alive in the woods. "COme on." She says."
