Name: Kirari Haboku

Nickname: The Unlucky Charm

Age: 15 (1st year)

Gender: Gal

Class: F

Height: 5’3”

Weight: 125 lbs

Appearance Description: An average-sized girl, Kirari isn't particularly imposing or muscular (not that she’d want to be). Her hair is a pale powder blue, her eyes a shade or two darker. Her default expression, with eyes half-lidded and a bit dull, would make her seem almost apathetic if it weren't for her ever-present smile.

General Personality: Kirari is the type of person that has unending optimism and cheer in the face of bad situations and her own bad luck… but because of that, she’s become pretty oblivious (or perhaps it’s the other way around). For example, if someone insulted her to her face, she’d probably just say “I don’t get it” or take it as some sort of roundabout compliment. She’s also incredibly honest to herself and others, sometimes to a brutal degree, and is very difficult to fluster. Kirari holds no illusions about her serious lack of book smarts - she’s knows she’s just a plain old fool, and there’s no real way to change that. Besides, given her gift for fashion design, she really doesn’t need to be brainy to achieve some sort of success.

She’s a rather outgoing girl and tries to be as warm and friendly as possible to everyone she meets. Overly so, in fact, to the point of many disregarded physical boundaries and even strange pet names for people she’s only just met. To her, it just makes sense to try and be close to everyone, since she considers them all her pals (even if they don’t think of her the same way). Still, if something she does makes someone uncomfortable, she will promptly stop and apologize.

While Kirari is quick to try and make friends, she prefers to take everything else slowly and go with the flow, which even extends to her long, drawn-out speech patterns. Rushing things just makes her feel stressful! She is extremely mellow and her emotions are quite subdued.

History: Kirari was born under a bad sign, destined to be dogged by bad luck her whole life. It only ever rained when she forgot her umbrella, her once-long hair got caught in various machines or accidentally singed so many times, she had to keep it short, and whenever her classes went on exciting field trips, she got sick and had to stay home. To this day, she deals with frequent near-death experiences - only surviving because whatever deity is out there finds her misfortunes too hilarious to end.

When she was a grade schooler, she would get annoyed at her consistent bad luck - why did she have to deal with so many terrible things? Did she do something in her past life to earn the ire of a higher being? Thoughts like that tormented her until she began her first year of middle school, when she finally decided to let her anger go. So what if she had bad luck? Brooding over something unchangeable wouldn’t help her, so she might as well go with it. Besides, not everything in her life would be terrible! After her revelation, Kirari mellowed out significantly, to the point where her misfortunes didn’t bother her too much anymore; she became oblivious to the terrible things that happened to her.

A little too oblivious, perhaps. While she was never a very good or attentive student to begin with, her more lax attitude towards her life and everything else were pretty detrimental to her grades. She lost focus more often than she used to and went from a slightly below average student to a truly terrible student. Even that didn’t really bother Kirari - if she was going to fail, then she was going to fail, and that was that.

As she was preparing to go to high school, Kirari decided she wanted to go somewhere with a lot of people, since she’d have more opportunities to socialize and make friends that way. Her heart set on Fumizuki Academy, she took the Entrance Exam with the highest of hopes.

And, well, she got into Class F. But, if she’s destined to be there, why complain?

Summoned Being: A slow-moving being that wields pins and needles; not the strongest, but certainly very fashionable

Scores:

    -Math: 63

    -Science: 34

    -Phys. Ed: 25

    -English: 0

    -History: 12

     -Combined: 134

Best Class: Math (clothing design involves a loooot of precise measurements)

Worst Class: English (she barely knows her own language, let alone an entirely different one)

Crush/Lover: None just yet, since she’s just arrived, but maybe later?

Other: Slightly near-sighted, but she honestly thinks the world is just supposed to look a little fuzzy.

(aaaaanyway I hope she sounds okay and I also hope I can post this before my raging anxiety consumes me)
