Jess peeked in the auditorium, seeing the hundreds of thousands of new faces. One particular face caught her eye, which reminded her of someone she saw before. "NO!" She bolted out of the room and reached the end of the hallway in less than 10 seconds, running ridiculously fast...for anyone, actually. This time she vaulted over the bin and out into the campus. She started slowing down, looking over her shoulder over and over, slightly upset. He's here?





She started walking around the campus until she noticed that Carmen was standing next to a tree. @Carmen Vehemente

Carmen looked up and saw Jesse. She smiled slightly at her then sat down at the bottom of the tree "It's ok Carmen, you're not in there" she cooed to herself "Oh why did I come here?" she asked herself, whining slightly. She took a deep breathe and laid on the tree with her back and closed her eyes "This will be a long term...." she thought to herself, running her fingers through her long hair

Jessie took a seat next to Carmen, looking at the ground, and then to her. "Hey. What happened to you? I saw one guy I'm afraid of, but you look really scared."


Jessie tucked her hair behind her ears and leaned against the tree. "Since we're not going to the orientation, should we go back to our dorm?"

She nodded "I'll explain when we go back to our dorm" she sighed, getting up and dusted herself off for no reason. Then started to walk, her mind was hurting and she was soft of shaking "Bloody claustrophobia" she thought to herself then moved a strand of hair out of her face. Blinking every now and then as she walked through the hall way

--Upon Dorm Arrival--


Jessie closed the door and flicked on the lights, lowering the intensity a little bit. She shook her head a little bit and tossed a water bottle to Carmen. "That'll probably help. Anyways, make like your nerves and spill. What's the issue? Are you doing alright?"

She sighed and sat on her bed "Long story short my father trapped me in a room and abused me. I escaped and ever since then I've been claustrophobic' she explained, slamming her head against her pillow "That's I ran away" she muttered through the pillow @JPax42

Jess put a hand on Carmen's back. "I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better. I know what it's like to be abused by another person. That guy I saw in the auditorium, he probably wasn't there for real. He simply haunts me. Don't worry Carmen, I can help you in any way I can to make you feel better." She got up from Carmen's bed. "I should probably take a shower, I've not taken one in two days and that's an issue."

She smirked then lightly pushed Jess away "Eww! Go take a shower!" she joked then gave a giggle. She grabbed a towel and threw it to Jess "My name isn't Carmen" she smiled, hoping Jess wouldn't notice what she said

Jess laughed and caught the towel. "Thanks!" She heard Carmen say her name isn't Carmen, but she decided not to say anything, simply making her way to the bathroom.


--Upon entry--


Jess looked at the mirror, then at the sink. I'm going to try to cheer her up. I feel horrible. She got undressed and got into the shower. Turning on the water, she started to think, in third person.


Sensible Jess: I'm going to stay the fuck out of this one.


Helpful Jess: It's nice of you to help her.


Romantic Jess: Maybe set her up with a date with a cute guy?


Athletic Jess: That father needs a good beating-up.


Sensible Jess: No. He will hurt you too.


Optimistic Jess: Well, at least she has no scars.


Sensible Jess: She might have scars where we can't see them?


Athletic Jess: No, let's beat the fuck out of the father.





Jess snapped back to reality and started to look at the wall.

Carmen sighed then tore a piece of paper from her book and scribbled something for Jesse "Going for a run - Ebony" she placed the note where Jesse could see it, she got changed into a black crop top with a emoji pointing the rude finger, black bike pants that went above her knees and her purple, red and white nikes. She grabbed a bag filled with spray cans then left to go and find a brick wall. She started to run as fast as she could

(Two minutes after Carmen left)


Jess got out of the shower and looked at the note. "Ok then-wait...run?" Jess looked around for the dorm phone and found it. She then called Carmen. "Whoever the heck you are, Carmen, Ebony, where did you go? Or did you go TO Ebony, in which case I'll find you in five minutes!"


Jess opened the door, bolting at warp 10 out of the campus. She could hear a faint clinking noise, so she followed that, still running.

Carmen jumped over a wire fence that lead to a dark alleyway. She opened a bag and picked out a spray can. She smirked at the blank brick wall then began to paint. She loved the sound that the can made. Hiss... After a few minutes she stood back to admire her work "Well done Ebony" she thought to herself then smirked

Jess continued following the sound and found the wire fence. She vaulted over the fence and found Carmen. "Here's a heads up for you Ebony. Next time you sneak out to do graffiti...please wear a hoodie so you're not seen. Amazing art, but still."


Jess urged Carmen to go back to school. "We have to go back, the school has a policy about us being out of our rooms after 10 pm."


Jess started to walk back.

Carmen followed Jess back to school "Sorry I ra, I just had to get away" she explained, slipping the van into the bag. "Why did you come? I mean some of us are delinquents like for me example! When I was 15 my father abused me and shit then I cashed in at least $20,000 worth of fake bank checks and then they sent me here" she shrugged, being a criminal was no big deal "Have you got anything that delinquent enough to be a delinquent?" She smirked, she eyed the school as it came into view "You know... You are the only person that I've told that story" she admitted then jumped over the fence @JPax42

Jess walked alongside Carmen and laughed slightly. "Have I ever committed a crime? Of course. I have a fake driver's license, pilot's license, freighter license, and helicopter license. Heck, if I wanted to I could become an astronaut. Never had to pay a dime. Also, 20k of fake checks? If you can do this a lot more, we can buy a plane and fly the world."


Jess realized how stupid this sounded. "Of course, I know how to fly a plane. I just didn't pay the tuition." Jess laughed slightly and reached into her pocket, showing the licenses. "Mmhm. I can get anywhere."
