Fandom Kimetsu No Yaiba / Demon Slayer RP??

I'm not going to "debate" any longer on something that really is only going to drag on, and won't be beneficial for me. I didn't even read all of that. I'm going to finish creating my character, and if you, TPBx TPBx , have any concerns on it then please let me know.

This isn't even my RP, so I'll follow whatever the GM decides to do.

Yeah np, I personally don't mind because at the end of the I'm also the one coordinating the experience so any feedback helps. Also yeah if you could post the character ASAP that would be great because I'd love to see what you guys come up with and also to at least catch things I have problems with in the drafting process rather than at the end.

Ey I mean, it's just me bringing up these structure things, other players don't seem to care or have their own ideas that they try to stand up for. If it's not the game for me it's not the game for me, but since you asked for feedback I went with what I could see. As for the hands-on plot progression thing, that's kinda what Yaiba does, innit? Very little drag to it, we don't spend an eternity in a training arc, they don't have the starting line exam overstay its welcome, we very quickly meet Muzan and start seeing higher tier demons and pillars. Much less faffing about than other shonen. As for the other points which I hope you can read:

An entire squadron of hunters was called to the Spiderboonies, we saw a lot of them die, plus Tanjiro and Zenitsu, then pillars and assistants when the threat level was deemed high enough. There's nothing stopping you from setting up a situation that requires hunters to band together in a more coherent way that leaves you far more room to be creative with scenarios other than "weak characters hang around the one forest to kill generic demons". It also lets you skip over some level of introductory arc formulaic material and lets everyone start with their very own nichirin blade which again can be any manner weapon.

Honestly I think the idea of stonewalling a player is bad in general, which is why games have progression for one and keep everyone on a generally equal platform often measured by levels on another. Not just videogames, actual role playing games too, and you don't see people complain about this because it doesn't define character roles. All this particular division does is enforce a strange, unnecessary split that leaves some players with way too much (the only people capable of handling upper level demons and especially moons are Pillar-tiers) and the rest with way too little despite a base assumed competence on a game about cool sword stuff.

A player that does stupid things will do them pillar or not, and players will want their character to be relevant and important no matter what which is perfectly understandable as PCs are kinda meant to drive the game/story forward. Hence my suggestion that everyone be placed on a base equal competence level. Keep in mind that even though I think it'll be a drag that can include the PCs all being trainees doing the forest run. Or that suggestion of making a game about a prior pillar generation/pillar replacement candidates and starting on somewhat higher stakes, given we've seen moons do often require multiple pillars.

Also none of this covers how the divide between demon players and hunter players will be handled at all or what demon players may or may not be doing, but I did cover that before.
 
I would be interested. I was thinking about taking part in some RP about Demon Slayer, so if this idea is still active, I am into that. I am not sure about character, I did human OC for this universum, but... He is kinda out of canon I think. I have a lot of demons oc. So maybe I would be demon? Maybe one of twelve demon moons? I don't know yet. But you can sign me up to this concept!

What spoilers? Muzan is introduced by name in the latest episode as the big plot bad guy and his name is the title of this week's episode. The vague allusion that spiders and someone named Zenitsu will be a thing? Zenitsu who is in the OP, we've already seen and I haven't described? The very intro to this game mentions the pillars and moons which the anime hasn't touched on yet so that can't be it. That higher level characters are indeed the only ones capable of handling other higher level characters? It's not like the series doesn't make it explicit that hunters have a high lethality rate, so generic no namers dying isn't a spoiler...

I mean we're accepting both Canon and OC characters so you're welcome to do whatever you like.

Okey I understand. I think I will go with OC, because it Will be easier than Canon hah. Although I don't have actually idea for a blood magic/art, but I hope that I will have it later hah.
 
Added a normal Demon Slayer Rank if anyone has ideas for other characters or wants to change roles.
 
am I going to be able to be a demon on the demon slayers side? like the main characters sister, have my mouth sealed? possibly related to one of the slayers?
 
Any update on what's going to happen yet?
