Unfortunately for many fangirls of a certain persuasion, Yang is about as straight as the staff he carts around. And as for the female NPCs revealed so far...

Seo Ji: Exceedingly unlikely, but I suppose there's always the possibility of enemies-to-lovers for the crack shippers. The whole 'razing the capital to the ground' and 'kinslaying' deal is a wee bit of a dealbreaker. I'm afraid there's no girlbossing one's way into Yang's heart.

Lady Rin: Jokes about elemental affinities(Earth is weak to Wood, *waggles eyebrows*) aside, the one with the class that literally means 'Mommy' has a lot of potential with Yang. A classic tale of the Himbo and the Proper Lady. Just need to get her out from under Seo Ji's thumb, or perhaps conduct a romance across enemy lines, wouldn't that be something!

Yoo Rinhee: Ah, the flipside of the elemental affinities. The Elegant Blade of Lu... doesn't have actually that much chemistry with Yang as far as I can see. And believe me, I'm trying really hard to see it. She's got that whole tense rivals thing going on with Shu Jin, but I'm fairly sure Shu Jin only has eyes for Dao anyways. :V
