That's correct. o7
There are plenty of things to do in this RP.
How is battle and campaigning going to work? We have a load of people with combat specs but naturally some of them might end up in administrative positions, will they get to watch on the sidelines while others win glory or do they also get to participate in some way?

Good quechon. As part of the court, those that are wired for administrative duties will support the military figures with tasks in the rear. They will be responsible for coming up with plans for the aftermath of the battle, how to cultivate the lands, keeping the newly integrated populace's contentment, maybe contribute to the war efforts with any other plans that can win the battle without fighting - diplomacy, etc. At least, for this episode anyways. Gradually, but assuredly, most of the integral aspects of the RP's gameplay will be addressed. There's also the granting of lands and titles to consider as well. As the dominion grows, many will be put in certain spots to govern their respective regions and such. But of course, they can always stand on the sidelines and comment. Anime exposition and all. During the downtime when the nation isn't at war, civic and censorate branches will outshine the martial branch. Et cetera.
Ultimately, I will find something for everyone to do.

Imagine Tatsu and the Mob lining up for some food with little bowls being served by little So Long.
I'm going to draw that. Thanks for the idea.

Hey Malphaestus Malphaestus

Trying to map/note out my character's understanding of and perspective on Dao Chaolong (and by extent the reason he is serving) so I'm curious about if he would've revealed privately to his court or ever made public the truth of his exile?
The character's relation and understanding of the scenario changes rather dramatically depending on whether or not he believes the lord murdered the Patriarch, though he would still choose to serve under him either way.
Dao has not said anything. However, Shu has mentioned that he did not.

Before I head to bed; are there any particular NPCs we should know about that will be major members of Dao's court beyond shu Jin?

We'll see. I am not keen on controlling too many chars, given the long list of NPCs that will surface down the line. Lore page will be updated occasionally though, if they do emerge.
Have a good night!

Spots not occupied by player-characters will be filled by NPCs. No doubt I will control most of them.

Smh. Even if no one fills the spot, Shu Jin is still the acting Chancellor, work will be given to the other branches instead. No need to cover the grounds if its not needed.
Oh, but I will be 78 people if that is needed.
