Anyway, munchkins almost never avoid any game. They play every edition of D&D, both editions of Exalted, any sort of WoD, etcetera. You can't game without the bad ones. You just have to hope for luck.


But I do feel sorry for anyone who's never tried gaming. Or who's never tried Exalted.

...Strangely, I've never had the misfortune to be in a group with a munchkin, in Exalted or any other system. I suppose that has something to do with not playing enough.


Clearly, that's a problem I need to fix.

when did anyone describe a first game of exalted? It was my intention to give a general wellwishing and warding off bad gamers should you give it a go, it would apply to any game not just exalted. maybe I should have stuck with something more traditional.

Hey, my first game of Exalted went pretty well.


...Well, okay, it was over IRC and we spent about three hours on one battle because all the players were new to the game, but still.


......And the battle did open with a character botching his attack roll and getting his gun jammed, which was the first sign of the horrible luck that has been plaguing us so far.


But still. The battle took place in midair with the whole party in freefall, so it certainly wasn't all bad.


Unfortunately, our Storyteller seems to have vanished...

And right now, they are INCREDIBLY choppy for me, so I'm passing on them right now. ...that, and I don't really know/care for any of the characters.


And the reason I said I was afraid was mostly a joke, since it seems two of the first metaphors you guys came up with involved porno, virgins, or 'cherry popping'. I mean, I understand the joke that all the characters in Exalted are bisexual, but do the players need to be as well?

I'm pretty sure most Exalted characters are closer to pansexual, with a few of them (Ma-Ha Suchi) qualifying for the title of "Omnisexual Maniac."
