...We have no proof whatsoever as to the color of skin or eyes of Marena's younger daughter, though! She totally could have taken after her unseen father! Assuming his hands are gloved instead of dark-skinned.


Alternatively, that flashback was still from Secret's perspective. The option of 'brainwashed to think her past was different' is still open.
