It's been rather quiet here, but I suspect the holidays had something to do with that. With that said, are we still going on with this story? On hiatus? Either way, bump.
 
Hi there, haven't really been active the last two weeks - kind of an unplanned break, so to say, I've simply been busy with other stuff. As long as there's still interest, I'd be happy to move things forward.

Psychie Psychie Since you have the ancient symbol of Iomedae - do you wear it openly, or did you store it away? If the latter is the case - did you pull it out while praying?
 
Good answer - you would have gotten a similar response either way, but wearing it openly makes things much simpler.
 
A short note - I felt like the group needed a boost in its healing capabilities for the upcoming tasks, and I'd like Renna to be able to actually swing her sword every once in a while as well - thus, Renna got this amulet first. There will be other, similar items in the upcoming few scenes; I hope noone minds that I didn't hand out all of them at once (or did I?). As a side remark: There are bonus points available if you ever manage to find out whose amulet this is - it might take you a while, though.
 
I'm good with that. Veskassdak doesn't need that much for the moment. I still have my wish list, but I'll need to consult it before I have any requests. Now that I think about it, a heavyload belt would make him a pack mule of a sort. };^D
 
Anything to help keep us alive is good in my book. I am fine with letting one of our heavy hitters actually hit more often and heal somewhat less. Of course, once we level up, we'll have a little more of those wonderful hit points and some new tricks to pull off.

Yes of course, more hit points are always welcome and yes anything to keep us alive.
 
Am I the only one that thinks its rather funny that the airhead paladin has the best roll on her perception?
 
Hey, I may have rolled low, but Wren has a great bonus that helps make up for it.

But yeah, it is funny.

At least Renna has the extra healing dice from the holy symbol now. That should help out a bit.
 
It only helps if she lives long enough through the ambush to use it...

Rolls are more or less looking as expected, so that's nice from my perspective - Renna might want to work on the concept of sneakiness, though. Busy right now, but I'll try to get a post up later on.

Paladins are usually Dr. Clank 'n' Hiss anyway, but we have Wren to balance it out.
 
Just a short note: I probably won't manage to get a post up today, but I'll hopefully be able to move things forward tomorrow.
 
Alrighty, three things I wanted to mention here.

First of all, things are rather busy for me at the moment, and that's not likely to change in the near future. So from time to time, posts might take a while longer. Nothing you're not used to by now, just thought I'd mention it.

Then one thing about the IC post: It's meant as a way for you to pick up gear that you might need now or later. Over time, you gathered a few things that you might want to get rid of, so this is your chance to get a good deal for them. Coins won't do much, however; it's an item for an item. Let me know what you'd want to get rid of, and what you'd like to pick up, and I'll let you know if that works for me. Ever heard about the guy who traded a paperclip for a house? That's not going to happen here, but looking at the upcoming scenes, I'm aware that your gear might need some improvements.

Lastly: I want to hand out some exp to reach this point, and thus I did some math. No matter which path you choose (there will be choices, unless I forget to add them...), you'd level up in the least satisfying moment possible, and you'd become stronger within a few seconds between fights, or way too late. Thus, I figured it'd be best if you level up right now while you have some time to take a deep breath, and prepare for the upcoming dangers. Hope noone minds getting the remaining 1700 pts of exp right now - if you do, keep in mind you probably should have gotten some of them a while ago.
