WingmanCan

One Time Luck
Taken Characters:

Batman - HazardmanCan

Nightwing - WingmanCan

*At the moment, we are only accepting canon characters. Eventually, we'll probably allow some originals as well. Maybe.

**Yes, you can play more than one character. As long as you can handle it and keep up, then please have two, three . . . a THOUSAND x'D

***Villains will be allowed to be played, of course. I'd prefer it if they were minor characters and only played by people who already have one hero character already. And if you're active. We love active players who can double.

I meant Batman

Name: Richard "Dick" Grayson

Hero Name: Nightwing

Age: 26

Strengths: Acrobatics, parkour, hand-to-hand combat, talking.

Weaknesses: Being human, extreme hacking.

Personality: "See, one of the big differences between me and Bruce is that...I actually HAVE a personality. I talk and joke around a lot, which played a key role as Robin. While I ran my mouth during a fight with an enemy, it distracted them enough to where Batman could sneak around and kick their asses. Now it has evolved into me just talking as I fight.I can't help but make witty comebacks and remarks even in the midst of dodging a punch or kicking some ass of my own. Now I don't talk as much as Wally; he takes the cake on that one. However, I know when to get serious and can sometimes give off that same brooding aura that Bruce does. I guess the guy rubbed off on me a little more than I'd like.

I'm a leader. You may not get that impression after finding out that I was a "sidekick" for so many years, but I branched out on my own for a reason. I was a born performer, I live to be in the center stage which is why being the sidekick never really worked out. I led the Teen Titans for many years and even became a hero on my own. I'm good at tactics and strategy. Also because of my interpersonal skills, I'm good at rallying and unifying and from what I've heard, inspiring the hero community. I'm not trying to toot my own horn here, but I know I surpass Batman in those areas. I have people skills which is an area that I know he seriously lacks. Speaking from experience, here.

I do have a small temper and can get very defensive at times. The right buttons have to be pushed, but the point is that I am apt to show emotion even in costume. Bruce beats me in the stoic department. My temper usually only really comes out if Bruce is around to stir it up. Some of the things he says and does just tend to bring out the worst in me. I don't like that. I'm pretty sure no one else does either.

Speaking of other people, did I mention I'm a charmer with the ladies? Half the time, I don't even try to be, but the muscles, long hair and the blue eyes must do it for them somehow. Add a dashing smile to that and you've got yourself a stud. Oh...and if you haven't noticed, I have an ego the size of an elephant. I can get quite cocky at times, but women like confidence, right?"

Short Bio: After his parents were murdered in front of him during a circus act, Bruce Wayne took Dick in as his ward, sympathizing with his situation because of what happened to himself as a child. From there, Dick discovered Bruce's secret and soon came to fight at his side as the Robin, the Boy Wonder. After many years of working as the Dynamic Duo, Dick grew out of his Robin costume and his position as a sidekick. He went on to become his own hero, Nightwing, and continued to lead the Teen Titans, a team he had helped found. After years of working on the team, he continue on as a lone vigilante in Bludhaven until the city was destroyed during the Infinite Crisis. Despite the toll it took on him, he continued on and even took on the Batman mantle when Bruce was thought to be dead.

When Bruce returned and the Justice League was disbanded several years later, Dick went back to being Nightwing in Gotham City. Being a vigilante was frowned upon even more at that point, but that didn't stop him as well as several others from seeking justice on a local level. And when Earth called upon the help of the Justice League again, Dick was quick to jump into action as if they had never stopped.
