Realistic or Modern Just to get high

Sometimes it is hard out there in the real world. Some people just can't ake it. Some times you do some bad things. When drugs get involved it always gets worst. Traveling down that road changes people, makes them do things they normally wouldn't do. Their lives get put in danger, their social status, their happiness.

Hannah snorted the cocaine. She sighed and leaned back into the chair. The hit felt nice. She knew she was on a bad path. Her brother made sure she knew that. She didn't think about that though. Right now she was just letting the feeling of being high consume her

 

[Fallen]

Cosmo laid in a chair, his head back and eyes half-closed. His arms rested nicely on the chair's cushions, and he sat with his legs straight in front, crossed at the ankles. A feeling of grogginess washed over him; he hadn't had a good night's sleep the day before. Instead of sleeping like normal people would, Cosmo had spent all night watching movie after pointless movie, some of which were full of CGI and action, and others of which were sappy and disgusting love stories. In reality, he was just bored, but had no motivation to push himself on; in fact, he had nothing to push himself onto.


Was there any way to rid himself of this darkness? Time and time again, Cosmo had tried to run away from reality, overwhelming the fog with other stimulation and distractions. There was nothing wrong with deciding to spend a life avoiding sadness; wasn't that something normal people did, anyways? An involuntary sigh passed through his pale, chapped lips.
