Digital Just starting pet portraits

My mom asked me to do a drawing of my aunt's dog for Christmas. This is my first go at something like this - let me know what you think! I've very very recently started digital drawing and I know this isn't as impressive as a lot of other people on here. But I genuinely want constructive criticism on what I could improve on and how to improve on said thing!

It think it’s beautiful, but perhaps a little less grey over the eyes? It distracts from the actual brown.
