Deathkitten

I am the Deathkitten! Fear me!
(Mondo, awkwardxprincess, and kinadra)

A young girl walks through the night, eyes scanning nervously ahead of her. Her clothes torn, tear-stained cheeks shining in the dim light of the moon. The occasional streetlamp makes her whimper and squint, ruining her night-vision for a short while. Every time though, it was clear that her black dress was barely hanging onto her pale skin. Walking with a limp, she half wanted to find someone who could help, but also didn't, not knowing what could happen. The girl stumbled, and one hand shot out to catch herself, the other still holding herself.

Now kneeling under a streetlamp, her bright silver hair was visible. It was an alien color, actually natural, yet it looked impossible even for dye to create. The hair was metallic silver, but appeared to almost shine and glow with a soft, dimming light. Her eyes darted round yet again, exposing their crystalline blue color to the light. The girl attempted to stand, but let out a small yelp and clutched her side, falling down again to a crouched kneel. She shifted her weight onto her bottom, and let out short breathes while she clenched her teeth in pain.

Bringing her hand away from her side, she could see blood, too much blood. She was covered in her own blood, reeking of the iron-like smell. The girl scooted back painfully to the streetlamp, and leaned against it, vision beginning to blur. She felt dizzy and nauseous, head spinning. The girl just hoped whoever found her wouldn't drag her to one of those... hospitals.

Lightning struck in the depths of the forest, jolting the dazed man to his senses. He was now more lost then he ever was in past occurrences. The forest around him bound and swayed with excitement, he wondered where he was. Confusion began to fill his his being, he had no memory of leaving. He clutched his head, this was not the first time this has happened, but every time seemed to be a new experience. Walking slowly in the direction of town something was terribly wrong. His side ached in pain as he clutched the bindings that hugged his lower torso. The bindings were incorporated into the rest of the outfit. Held underneath the bindings was black shit that hung loosely giving it a scarf like appearance. He wore a brown open trench coat that was torn at the bottom, revealing the abuse it has endured over his endeavors. His light brown pants were just as worn with patches in the sides, and were tucked into his boots. He wore leather gloves with metal circle studs on each knuckle, the were fingers cut out exposing them to the natures of the jungle.

The thick brush began to clear, the man never thought he could make it back to into town. His luminous white eyes stared blankly into the streets of the town as he walked forward with caution. The humidity from the forest made his blond hair that reached just below his nose to stick to the sides of his face. He sensed someone ahead of him he could not fully make out the figure, filling him with increased caution. However, something within him forced him to keep his pace. With every step he inched closer, the overwhelming smell of blood became more evident. The world seemed to spin around him he no longer found the strength to stand as he fell to his knees. What was happening to him? He could not find the answer, and tried to say something to help the person, but nothing came out. He tried to reach out and help, but his body was frozen. He was stuck in a paralyzed form of shock with no explanation of the events leading up to the horrific night.

The night clear, with the bright moon gazing down in an open parking lot, a young woman found herself annoyed while trying to dig through her purse. She stood next to her red Toyota Camry, cursing under her breath. she needed her keys, but with her purse being such a mess, she wondered if she may needed a small shuffle to dig it out.

She had just finished editing her finale touches on the manuscript her feeble novelist sent to her at the office. She swore, if she wasn't his editor, she wondered who in their right mind would be. He always sends his manuscript's in freakishly late, which was exactly the reason why she was held up so late today, and quite frankly it annoyed the hell out of her. God, she was a softy for putting up with all his crap. All she wanted to do now was get to her apartment, take off her heels, undue the bun her brown hair was so tightly in, and just jump right onto her comfy couch. That is, if she ever found her car keys.

Out of frustration, she threw her purse on the floor, all her belongings-paper,lip stick, food wrappers, more papers- sprawled out to every direction, as if that would help the situation at hand. She sighed, then leaned against her car, she needed to calm down, getting angry at a purse was just childish. She would simply try again after a minute. She looked up to see a street lamp only a small few feet away from her. She surprisingly, saw two figures near a street lamp. What were they doing here at such time of night? one of the figures, appeared to be a man , on his knees holding his side, as if, out of pain? The other appeared to be a young girl. But the girl was what really caught her eye, because she had beautiful silver hair that the woman had never seen before. Her hair was so dazzling, that it almost distracted the woman from the amount of blood coming from her. Even from a distance it was visible.

oh my god!

The woman quickly ran towards the two - which was pretty hard in heels, thank god she decided to wear her gray pants suit, instead of the one with the skirt - until she reached the both of them. Up close, the scene looked even more gruesome, maybe too much for her light brown eyes.

"oh my gosh, are you both okay!? wait that's a stupid question of course you aren't!" the woman was a bit frantic. she fumbled, through her pants pocket and got her cell phone out.

"I'll call 911 OK? don't worry, everything's going to be OK" at-least, she hoped things would be.

(you both are such amazing writers by the way)

(Thank you you are good yourself. I just wanted to say I'm not used to having more then one person in the rp I have done it only once before. I'm not saying I don't want to do it, I'm just informing you in case I do something that would mess things up or something you know why. >.<)

(Sorry I haven't posted!!! Will try to get on before I sleep. On a phone.)
Somehow still conscious, the bloody girl stared at the man, shaking her head. What foul luck... she thought to herself before gasping in a painful breath again. She didn't even really want to say anything to him at this point. When the girl ran up to them though, she sighed a sigh of relief, until the girl spoke of 911. The sound that came from her throat was almost a hiss, and she shook her head, voice surprisingly strong, "No. No 911. Not for me. I don't-" She grit her teeth in pain and clutched her side before continuing a bit more softly, "...no hospitals... please... I don't know what's wrong with him, but I can't.... Please. Just take me to your house or something..."

She grit her teeth again, and looked at the girl with scared eyes, she just needed bandaged. That's all, stop the bleeding and she would be fine. Her eyes darted back to the stunned man, and her brow furrowed, teeth still grit. She didn't know what his deal was, but she knew it wasn't good either. With a shaky breath out, she leaned against the pole heavily, and began to stand, nearly falling back to the ground a couple times. When fully erect, the small girl looked up towards the taller one, and just stared for a moment. "Please..." she eventually said, softly, "I can try to walk to your... car... but no hospitals... Just bandage me up..." She whimpered in pain and looked at her hand, removing it from her side for only a moment.

Her hand was sticky with her own blood, and she cursed under her breath. The wound was still bleeding heavily, and she knew she would have to explain that later to her saviors. She yelped out in pain and clutched her side once more, leaning against the pole. Hopefully her saviors, anyways. She really hoped this wasn't how she was going to die.

His hipnotic state was disrupted by the third presence, as his head turned in the direction of he new stranger. His eyes were dead, cursed to an internal darkness from birth. The darkness left him lost upon a hill of questions within the nights of confution. Tonight was the worst of the occerances, leaving him stunned with shock.

Amist his puzzling situation, he now faced a potential nights stay in the hospital. The thought alone was enough to send a coursing memory through his brain. Dispite his lack of vision the memory was clear in his sixth sense. The figures were displayed within his head were ere with sickening anticipation. Muffled talking soon followed, as the stench of his own blood lingered through his memory. The reoccurrence finished its destructive process with unbelievable pain. He held his head as he stood to his feet.

The memory was enough to strike fear into his heart. He no longer wished to assist wounded woman, or to be anywhere around the situation. He shuffled desperately in a random direction that happened to be the direction of her car. The parking stoppers ended his frantic attempt to seclusion, sending him spiraling to the concrete in pain. He lay there motionless breathing deeply he felt his body go in and out of consciousness.

The women's hammering at her cell phone key's was completely halted by the strange girl's voice. Her vision was directed towards her. The women hated seeing the girl this way, her breathing was scarce, and she looked half dead. But the girl demanded she not call 911, but to take her to her house? Was she insane? The woman hardly knew the girl, and she expected her to take her home? How the heck was she supposed to know if the girl wasn't some masked murderer, faking being hurt.

The woman has seen horror movies, it happens all the time!

But worse of all, the bleeding looked pretty bad. What if she died while driving her to her apartment, it was 20 minutes away from here, and she wasn't sure how long the girl had. No, she was going to call 911, like a regular civilian, and wait till the paramedics got there.

"are you crazy?. I'll just call 911 and everything-"

she stopped mid-sentence, when she noticed the Man had risen to his feet. She half forgotten she needed to get him to the hospital too. He kept holding his side looking slightly disoriented.

"Are you even well enough to stand?" she said worriedly. Her question was soon answered when she saw him suddenly shuffling back to the direction she came from. "what are you-" He suddenly tripped over one of the parking stoppers, making him hit the concrete. He laid there motionless.

She ran to him, dropping the cellphone on the floor. She knelt down, and turned him over face side up. She shook him, "hey! hey!" but she could see his eyes only slightly opening once in awhile.

Now she really needed to get 911. ASAP.

She stood up, and speed walked to her cell phone.

She looked down at it in complete, and utter dismay. As if things, couldn't get any freakin' worse now her freakin' cell phone is broken. The phone was shattered, into to piece's, horizontally down the middle. She knew she should of upgraded to an iphone, who even uses flip devices anymore?

"SHIT!" she screamed loudly- as if anybody would hear her.

Now she had no phone, to contact anybody with.

What was she supposed to do now? She had two strangers injured and had no idea how to fix them, and she was by herself in this. She bit her lip out of fear, and she felt her heart race. She didn't want to see anybody die tonight, it'd probably scar her for the rest of her life. she didn't want that. she really didn't want that.

She began to frantically walk back in forth, shaking her hands, hoping for an answer, somehow.

what to do. what to do. what to do. what to- wait.

She can bring them back to her house. As much as she didn't want to, but it was the right thing to do so. she had a medical kit and everything there. she glanced at the girl, now slouched against the pole, looking so pale. she glanced at man. He still looked half conscious.

The woman took in a sigh. She directed her attention to the girl.

"You said you could walk right? Alright I'll take you home with me. we have to get him too" she pointed at the man as she said this.

why the hell am i doing this.

"I said I can try to walk..." she said feebly, and let out a short hiss from pain, clenching her teeth and holding her side. She nearly fell over again from it, but stayed standing, "I... I haven't the faintest clue what is wrong with him... I can't exactly pick him up or anything though..." Her voice was quiet, the dull glow in her eyes only fading even farther.

She walked painfully towards the other woman's car, and leaned on it heavily, breathing raspy, even after such a short walk. She looked towards the other girl, and managed a very weak smile, "I'll try not to bleed too much on your car.... Thank you, by the way... Hospitals would not receive me well..." As soon as the car door was unlocked, she opened it, and nearly fell inside, happy to finally get to sit.

The girl took her hand off of her side for a moment, trying to get a look at the damage. Three large gashes raked her side deeply, gouging into the flesh. It was painful, and she didn't want it to get infected or anything. She knew the healing process wouldn't get to start if she couldn't get the bleeding to stop. She really didn't want to bleed out today.

On the drive, the girl looked forward and to the left, to the driver's seat, and then to the passenger's. The nearly unconscious man was put there. A good resting place, she supposed as she wondered what was wrong with him. He looked worn down, but not seriously injured or anything like that. Another shot of pain rocked her, and she gasped in a short breath, clenching both her jaw and her free fist. "How much longer...?" she managed between shots of pain.

The world around him began to fade. His life was in the hands of the woman which he no longer showed resistance to. His body was motionless, and ached in agony. The events leading to his placement in the car seemed to ascend though time without his acknowledgement. His mind slipped, and his body weakened into unconsciousness.

The women tried to keep her focus on the road but the strong smell of blood kept worrying her to no end,and she pondered weather if they'd actually die in her car. She glanced into her rear-view mirror,at the girl in the back seat. "Only five minutes alright? Don't worry okay?" She said trying to sound as reassuring as possible.

The minutes passed rather quickly, since she stepped on the gas, she went as fast as she possibly could. She even, on accident, ignored a traffic light. She parked the car in front of her building, quickly. "We're here" She announced with a sigh of relieve. She got out of her side of the car, asked the girl to do the same. She opened the man's car door, and helped him out. She put an arm around him, and another on his waist. she egged the girl to follow her into her building.

Her building looked rather old, compared to the other ones in the neighborhood. It was the only one that was red bricked, and had white rigid roofing, with windows covering the whole front of the building . The others were gray cemented and newly made just a year ago. Her building was the oldest and tallest out of all of them, having 20 floors.

she lead the two into the building, passed the lobby, and into the elevator. Thank god no one was awake at the hour. she pressed the button to the 19th floor and waited patiently. The ride up was relatively quiet, except from the sounds of frantic breathing coming from the woman herself, She really hoped the man was only unconscious, and not dead.

As soon as the doors opened she walked down the hall, holding the man tightly at her side, made a left, and there at the end of the hall was her humble abode. She swore, she never felt so happy to see her crappy apartment in her life! She quickly, unhooked the arm she had around the man, putting all her strength into holding him at the waist. She used her free hand to dig through her purse that hung around her shoulder, and instantly found her home keys(Surprising, since it was ALWAYS such a hassle finding anything in there)

She opened the door, and switched on the lights. immediately walked over to her living room area, and placed the man on the couch gently, she told the girl to just wait on her armchair. She locked her front door, before disappearing to the back of the apartment and into the bathroom to get her first aid kit. She came back, and wasn't quite sure who to treat first. She decided to just do the girl, only because she wanted to stop the blood coming from her. She knelled down, and started to treat the girl, by first pressing alcohol on the wound, she absolutely didn't want this getting infected. "This will hurt a little okay?"
