right when Tod started to eat this fruit ate it in unison the fruit was sweet and tangy and it was even romantic to think about it.

Tod smiled and finished his half. then kissed Tori tasting the fruit that still lingered on his lips. "I love you and as cool as fruit myths are, we don't need them to be together." Tod got up and began to walk down the market with Tori looking at all the strange Knicks and knacks. "Tori did you know this place is famous for all of its legends and myths. The city is built around a buried temple or ruin you could say and they also say this is were stories start. I guess you could say my story started here with me being born and now a new story starts here the story of me and you." Tod hugged Tori. "Let's make it a good one."


Adam was running away from the angry people who wanted the money he stole from them back. He managed to ditch them but kept running anyway. Without looking he ran into someone big. He fell on his bum dropping all the stolen cash and goods. He looked up at the huge tiger/cat/panther in front of him.


Is this were it ends. He thought to himself just stunned in fear of the hulking furry in front of him.

Tori felt someone hits him felt he turned around to see the boy and the money he picked up the boy and dusted off holding his arm so he will not escape."are you alright."

 

[Artorias]

Adam looked up at the man. "Why should I tell you, you have no business with me now let me go. " Adam shoved the cash back into his pocket and had already stolen the man that was holding hims wallet. He pried free his other arm. Then he looked at the other man next to him. He couldn't shake the feeling that he had seen him somewhere before.





Tod looked at the child. "Tori I think you're scaring him, and little boy how did you get all that cash." Tod looked at the boy and felt as if he had seen him before but that was impossible the boy was to young. Tod would have well moved out of Teg by the time this kid was old enough to be here.

Tori look at the kid and smiled at him."I'm not that much with that guy and I just want to make sure if you're right."

 

[Artorias]

Adam looked up at the guy. The man could have easily arrested him or beat him up, but he didn't. Adam to the wallet he had stolen from the man out of his pocket he looked at the name Tori. He handed it back to Tori "you should be careful there are much more skilled pickpocket then me around here, and I'm fine just hungry." Adams stomach rumbled.


"and are you to tourist I've never seen you around here before."





Tod quickly checked his pocket for his own wallet it was there, then he looked at the kid. "you're a theif huh and a young one at that. You should go home and study, not be stealing people's cash. And me and Tori are boyfriends and were here together, working at the dig site. "

Tori opened up the wallet there was no money in it he then pulled out a piece of jerky and handed it over to the kid."take your time chewing on it I know what you're going through and I don't carry money in my wallet."

 

[Artorias]

"Th..Thank you sir" Adam took his time nibbling on the jerky. Then he looked at the other guy. "So you're head of the dig, you're digging in the wrong place there a much more bountiful digging location to the west. I've played in the abandoned mines there still loaded with ores. I'll point the way." He jumped on Tori's back apperantly the kid was already warming up to him. He pointed in a derection. "That way sir. "





Tod wondered why. Tori and that kid had seemed to open up to each other so easily. He didn't mind though he was just trying to figure out who that kid was.

Tori laugh when the kid jumped on him and then turn to Tod."it's up to you if we go check it out."

 

[Artorias]

Tod looked at the kid "yeah show us the way but first what is you're name, and were are you're parents."


The names Adam and I don't have any parents they passed away when I was to little to remember. Ever since then ive been traveling on my lonesome and pickpocketing for a living, I'm really good at it." he said with Tods wallet in his hand. Adam tossed the wallet back to Tod.





Tod felt bad for the kid when he heard he had no parents. "OK lead the way will follow."

Tori starting to go the way the kid was saying he knew how the kid felt right now because he was in the same situation when his dad left him

Adam lead them to the abondoned mines. "here we are" Adam hoped off of Tori's back and ran in. "you comeing slowpokes."





Tod followed the kid in and after a few minutes of walking he learned the kid was right. These mines were full of steel,platnium,gold,silver and most importantly black silver. "Thank you so much kid, this will make a great digging location. Is there anything we can do to make it up to you."





Adam thought it over. Ever since he was with these two the people chasing him didn't show up. Mabey Tori scared them off. "I wanna stay with you two, it's not like I have anywhere else to go."





Tod walked over to Tori's and gave him a worried look before wishpering in his ear. "we can't take care of a kid can we...??? "

Tori thought about it for a while he was really wanting to help the kid because he was in the same spot that he was a long time ago he then turned to Tod and whispered"I want you but I do not know I think we can"

 

[Artorias]

"well I guess if the dig goes well, I'll ask for a larger portion of the cut. Then mabey we can get a bigger appartment and house the kid once we get back." I'm still in college, unmarried and now I'm being asked to take the role of a father.


Tod looked back at Tori. "You decide I'll support you in whatever choice you make. "


Adam stood there waiting for them to answer, he knew he was asking for alot but he couldn't imagine anything better then a place to stay and not having to run from the cops all the time in order to make a pound to buy food.

Tori thought for a while the kid was probably good enough to take care of himself at home and he can probably ask you boss to switch his house to get a bigger apartment"ok as the day goes on I'll give you three strikes if you break any of the strikes we won't take care of you."

 

[Artorias]

Adam almost cried he was so happy, he really was expecting a no. He ran up to Tori and hugged him them he hugged Tod. "Thank you booth so much." he said with a huge smile.





Tod smiled when the kid hugged him. Then he looked at Tori and his eyes said it all. We got are selves into something big.

Tori saw the look in Tod's eyes and knew what he was saying but he knew if you just give someone a second chance they were turning around"I think it's about time that we go to the dig site"

 

[Artorias]

Tod nodded and began to follow Tori to the dig site.


Adam smiled and jumped on Toris back, allowing Tori to carry him. It wasn't like he weighed anything.

as they were going through these streets they were getting strange looks probably because of a kid but they were a bit too scared of him but they were a bit too scared of him

They eventually got to the dig site and began the dig as well as Tod sending half the men to set up a dig site at the location that Adam gave them. Then he walked over to Tori's "you've been carrying this kid around ever since we met him. You never carry me around." he said with a tease in his voice before returning to commanding the dig.


Adam stayed on Tori's back. "So why are you and him dating, I thought boys and girls dated not boys and boys or are boys and boys spouse to date." Adam being as young as he was didn't understand this all yet.

"well kid it's kind of hard to explain and it's something that you get when your older but for now is time to give someone else a turn."

 

[Artorias]

Adam nodded then hopped of Tori's back. Still sticking to his heels though feeling safeist around him. He took of his hat to revial Neko ears. He preferred to disguise himself as human but the hat was really getting Ichi.





Tod was looking over some maps of the ruins they had found during the ore dig. "Hey Tori come see this, there is a whole underground temple below us. I rekon we should explore it what do you think. ?"

Tori walked over to him and pick them up putting him on his shoulders and looking at the maps he look very excited to do some exploring."that sounds like something fun to do."

 

[Artorias]

Tod was surprised when he was put over Toris shoulder. He smiled, "I'm not to heavy am i" He then kissed Toris neck. He pointed at the map, "we can enter from there. Let's grab some spelunking gear and get going."


"Can I come to" Adam says with a playful smile. "I've explored some of the areas down there before."

"you are as light as a feather"Tori then turn to the kid.''I do not see any problem with it do you Tod"
