Russel Van Pelt has stolen the Jaguar's eye from its shrine, cursing Jumanji.

Nigel has escaped from Van Pelt with the jewel, and the two must return it
to the original jaguar statue and call out "Jumanji" to lift the curse.

After being warned that Van Pelt will stop at nothing to retrieve the jewel,
for it will give him control of all Jumanji's animals, he drives off.

Can the two heroes do it? Or will they perish?

i woke up to the sound of a pounding alarm.
i groan and slowly get up, stretching.
i snatch my phone and quickly dismiss the alarm.
"welp," i yawn, "time to get ready."​

I heard a loud thump as I woke up, and saw that I had fallen out of my bed.
"Again? That's the third time this week!" I said to myself jokingly.
I put everything I needed for the day in my backpack, and get ready for school.

i enjoy my breakfast while scrolling on instagram.
"shiit." i sigh, realizing my phone is at 9%.
i wolf down my breakfast then rush to my room to charge my phone.
i grab my backpack and race out the door.​

I got to school and walked into my first class.
'I hate this class..' I thought to myself.
I sat down and was already annoyed even though nothing had happened yet.

i throw open the door to my class.
everyone's staring at me as i realize im late.
"sorry!" i shrug. "sometimes, the instagram food just hypnotizes you,
know what i mean?" i finish with a wink.
the class erupts in chuckles and laughs.​

I yawn tiredly as I hear a noise coming from the person next to me.
"Did you say something?" I whisper to them.
They replied, "No."
As I look at them they quickly raise their hand.
The teacher calls on them and they say, "Rosu was talking to me!"
The teacher called me up to his desk and gave me detention.
"I wasn't talking!" I lied.
I sigh as I walked down the hall to detention.

"ferry!" the teacher calls, the whole class degrading to silence.
"ma'm? i mean sir-"
the class breaks out in raucous laughter.
the teacher shrieks in outrage, "you will leave my class
this instant and serve detention!"
"but sir-"
"leave! i will not repeat myself!" he screeches.
i shrug once again, and walk straight out the door to detention.​

I looked down at the desk I was sitting at, scratching its wooden surface with annoyance.
"Ugh, that kid..." I mumble to myself.
I see someone walk into the room and look up.
I see that its Ferry, and I greet him with a friendly wave.

i wave back, choosing to sit in the desk next to her.
"what'd you do to get here?" i asked
as i shuffled with my backpack.​

Rosu

"Some kid snitched on me for talking." I replied.
"What did you do?" I asked.

"teacher got triggered." i sniggered.
"first, i was just joking around about why i was late,
then i accidentally called him a ma'm and,
oh god, he was pissed." i chuckled.​

I snickered.
"Oooh, I have an idea!" I said excitedly
"Lets go look through the closet, there might be something cool down there." I added.

"sure!" i agreed.
i followed rosu as she opened the door.
"this is gonna be great." i grinned.​

I opened the door to the closet and started looking through the piles of things.
I found what looked like a case for a video game.
I wiped off the dirt and dust.
"Woah, Ferry come look at this! I found something good!" I said happily.

"what is it?" i exclaimed.
i squeezed in next to rosu to get a good look.
"its....
jumanji?"​

Rosu

"I think its a game. Do you think we could find a console in here?" I asked Ferry.

"uhhh," i trailed off.
i looked around, then spotted something rectangular and dusty.
"this?" i picked it up and handed it to rosu.​

I brushed the dust off of it. "Perfect." I said.
I plugged in the console and got two controllers.

i took a controller from rosu and thanked her.
"welp, put the game in!"
"let's see if it works..." i muttered under my breath.​
