Fantasy Jones: Demon Hunter Pirate

Greenhunter

New Member
For many years, pirates have been the true rulers of the ocean's terrors. Greedy, lustful and selfish, pirates were considered villains among those who live on solid land, with their rules and laws. Upon the sea, law had no power. But there was more to the pirate life than it would seem.

Captain Jones has been sailing the sea with his crew of miscreants and cutthroats for fifteen years. They pillage and murder and take what they can, but their job is far more dangerous than that. Aboard the Black Veil, pirates are the only defence between the real world and the underworld. Jones and his crew sail the seven seas, fighting the demons that rise up from the depths of hell and threaten to destroy the earth. Jones's mission, bestowed upon him when he fell from heaven, is to protect the seas from these evil monsters by whatever means necessary. And this he does, though his heart is black.

One night, Jones and his crew stop in at a tavern in a sea village on the edge of Galway, Ireland, looking for new recruits for their holy mission. Here is where our story begins, in the Whiskey bottle, where Jones's seeks only the craziest, most adventurous of sailors to join his god forsaken crew.

Okay, here are the rules to this Roleplay:

1 You can be a pirate aboard Jones's ship, a pirate from another ship, a member of the sea village people or a demon from Hell.

2 Cursing is allowed, and judging by the characters, its probably encouraged :D

3 No playing God. You can die, you can be hurt, you do have weaknesses and you can't control other characters (unless you have permission to). You know what I mean. No one is invincible in any world. That would be so boring :D

4. No killing anyone else's characters without permission. It's just not very nice is it.

5 Have fun :D

Jones took a gulp from his mug of ale, though his heart wasn't real in it. Usually he enjoyed a swig as much as the next man, but his mind was elsewhere tonight. His eyes glanced over the grimy pub, his hope sinking like a broken hull. He had been looking forward to some time on land, away from his filthy crew. But this pub was not living up to his expectations. The men in here were somber and, if nothing else, too old. How was he ever going to find able bodied sailors to take on the demons of the ocean when he couldn't even find a man young enough not to be a grandfather? Jones put his mug down with a sigh. He tossed a couple of shiny coins down on the table a was just about to leave.
