"Dont leave me."
His voice came out hoarse as he rested his hand on the glass. Silent tears slipping down his face. Everything felt like it was crumbling down or a mirror shattering into thousands of millions of little pieces. He couldnt loose Aria not yet. She was worth to much to him.
"L-Listen.. James.. Im not going to.. make it."
She choked out the last words and her bottom lip trembled. She rested her head against the glass and blood dripped down her chin to the cold white floor underneath her. Her hand was rested against the glass, aligned with his. She softly kissed the glass where his head was and left a bloody imprint. She ran her stray hand through her hair that was cut short and choppy when she entered the hospital.
"You have to make it Aria. You cant leave me again."
She shook her head slightly as James raised his. Foggy blue eyes catching hers. They looked like mini storms lit with lightning within the center. One of the things she could look at and never get sick off. One of the reasons she loved him. She bowed her head as James kissed the glass. She wanted to hug him to assure him everything was ok and she was fine. Even if it wasnt.
She felt something rip through her chest and she doubled over in pain. Knees failing to keep her up as she collapsed to the floor. Arms pooled around her and eyes wide open. Every noise dropped to a mere hum in her ears and her eyes went wide. This was it. She was going to leave.
"NO NO ARIA YOU CANT LEAVE ME!"
James pounded on the glass as more tears fell from his face. H e laid his head on the glass as he watched the light slowly leave his lovers eyes. He wanted to be in there and comfort her as she left. He didnt want her to be alone on the other side of the glass.
"I love you James."
Aria whispered before her eyes went blank and she drew one last shaky breath. Her chest then seized and her body went limp. James entire body was shaking as Doctors rushed into the room. He watched with blurry eyes as they loaded her onto a stretcher and covered her with a white sheet. She was gone. Dead. No longer within the living with him. His hand was still on the glass as the Doctors exited the room.
He dragged his gaze away from the glass where Aria had been moments before and to the covered version of her now.
"I love you to Aria."
He watched as she disappeared before crumbling to the floor. Nothing was ever going to be the same anymore and everything went black.
