Just how does one manage to keep things running for that long?

A bit of both.  It's an ancient idea that's common, isn't terrible, easy to understand, and gives a lot of creative freedom.

I'm not XD  I've just been doing this a long time.  These every forum has an RP like this.


It's kind of like high school romance anime; they're all the same with minor differences, they're rarely ever great enough to take off, but they're also not terrible enough to vanish.  It really depends on what kind of characters there are and whether people are actually active.


I'm tempted too, mostly cause now I actually have free time to do stuff.  Don't expect me anytime soon though; I'm slow when it comes to making characters.
