I’ve been contemplating this for a while, and I think I’m gonna make it canon: every character can have one custom mega evolution Pokémon. Meaning: if you can find fan art of a mega for an existing Pokémon which does not have a mega in the games, I’ll allow it for play in character. Keeping in mind, their power level will still not be THAT much different when they transform.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'll let you know, but obviously a head on attack to the torso like that would be cut down immensely by the new armor.
