Career Path: Pokémon Doctor
Appearance:desktop-wallpaper-hoodie-cute-anime-girl-iphone-hoodie-anime-girl.jpg
Extra Appearence Info: Miiya stands currently at a small 4'10" and 95 pound ball of shy and nervous adorable. She seems to be a bit if not uncharacteristicly strong for someone of her stature, as she is capable of lifting her partner Kurai off the ground to hide herself behind him. The average weight of an Umbreon being around 60lbs. and nearly 66% of her body weight.

Normally her clothes consist of a white hoodie as seen in the photo above. Her shirts consist of solid colors: Pink, White, Gray, Black, and Sky Blue. Typically you'll only see her in yoga pants or skinny jeans. She isn't one for skirts deeming them to be impractical for most weather and naturally drafty. Instead of a backpack she has what could be called a mobile first aid kit... Yes it is what it sounds like. Take everything you'd find in a first aid kit multiply it by about three, pack it neatly in a satchel bag that looks to be just a tad too big to be practical. Pack it with Pokémon food, spare clothes for herself, a pretty much a untouched pokedex with 10 pokeballs incase a wild patient needs to be moved to a safer location for treatment.

Her partners pokeballs are firmly clipped inside her hoodie sleeves for ease of access with minimal draw time incase of danger.

Personality: Miiya has always been something of a bleeding heart wearing her emotions on her sleeves. To say she dislikes battling and conflict is a complete understatement. She'd much rather make an attempt at talking things out if that is if she manages to get the words to come out of her mouth without either becoming a studdering mess due to nerves or straight up running away from the situation entirely. There are few happenings that override these actions the only one of notable occurrance is if an injured Pokémon is involved. She has shaken off her nerves for the sake of injured or sick Pokémon.

Bio: Mii's life has been surrounded by medical equipment since she was a young girl. Her father being a doctor for people and her mother being one for Pokémon didn't really leave a lot of time for Miiya and her parents to be what one would call close. There were always patients waiting for treatment or a hurt Pokémon that needed to be brought back to fighting shape. That was where Miiya's dislike for battling began and grew deeper as time dragged on her parents much too busy to spend time with her. Raised more or less by her Nanny Miss Raven. Miss Raven was more of a mother to Miiya even giving her an Eevee, as a birthday present when she was eight.

Years passed since that day and many many things have happened since putting her on the path to become a Pokémon Doctor hoping to open her own practice in a small town. This however, requires a lot of study and training. This search for knowledge led her to Jhoto Academy. Perhaps while she is here studying she might make some friends?

Just how did Miiya get a hold of such a strong Pokémon like a Nidoqueen? Well here's the story. Note there is spoilers as to why her motivation to be a Pokémon Doctor is what it is and why she Dislikes battling so much. If you don't much care for getting Miiya to open up about it through story or just want to know click at your leisure.
It started with a Pokémon battle tournament hosted in Celadon City there is one there every year or so hosted by some rich people for entertainment. Miiya had never been much for battling liking the idea of playing with Pokémon a lot more fun. Miss Raven got two tickets to watch the tournament and took Miiya with her for her tenth birthday. Saying that it would be fun to see all the different Pokémon from all over. It was true Miiya did see Pokémon from all over the region and some she'd never seen before. When observing a Pokémon that had caught her interest she heard a giant deafening boom coming from another battlefield. Upon inspection a Nidoqueen has standing triumphant over a Pikachu that looked like it was punched into the opposing wall with enough force to level a skyscraper. Miiya's heart went out to the poor electric mouse but when her eyes snapped to the Nidoqueen something odd drew her to inspect it a bit closer. There was a tight looking collar around it's neck that had to be very uncomfortable.the tournament went on and Miiya watched as the Nidoqueen fought on every round ending in its victory... But the longer it fought, the more strained it looked. It wasnt the unsurmountable pillar of triumph it was just about an hour ago when it cleaned that Pikachu's clock... It looked like it was in pain. Getting up from her seat when Miss Raven had gone to the bathroom she moved closer to the battlefield to get a better look the next time Nidoqueen was present on the field. It was the final match, Nidoqueen vs. Dragonite. Against the overwhelming power of the Dragon type Pokémon Nidoqueen would be soundly defeated within about a minute, right? If this was a normal battle that would be so. this battle was anything but normal however. It was more like a war of attrition, one that Nidoqueen lost after five minutes of getting wailed on. The trainer of the Nidoqueen however seemed to be angered by this fact and scoffed. They said something Miiya couldn't hear followed by 'Useless trash I guess that's one less mouth I need to feed.' The trainer recalled Nidoqueen and proceeded to leave. Miiya being the infinitely wise ten year old she was decided it would be a grand idea to follow the trainer as he left. She doesn't regret doing it but she shouldn't have done it in the first place. She kept her distance and watched the man. What he had heard him say she didn't want to assume anything, she might have been mistaken.though what she saw confirmed her Fears she watched as the man tossed the pokeball holding Nidoqueen into the river. Now there are a number of things you shouldn't do when your ten years old. One of them happens to be diving into a river after a pokeball when you don't know how to swim. Getting the pokeball was surprisingly easy... The next part was when she realized she dun fudged up. If she lived through this Miss Raven was going to ground her for the rest of her life. Thankfully the river's flow wasn't all that strong so with enough flailing of her limbs she managed to get back to the bank of the river. She managed to keep hold of the ball and headed to Miss Raven.

When they returned home thankfully not grounded herself because she did a very good deed by saving Nidoqueen's ball.

Getting Nina's trust wasn't exactly an easy process... It started when she got that collar off her neck. The poor dear was brought to the Pokémon center immediately the sight was quite the grizzly one. It looked like it was one when it evolved and wasnt ever removed according to the nurse Joy. Miiya had a lot of explaining to do. After she finished she begged Nurse Joy to help her make Nina better. If she was going to take care of Nina she had to know how to make her better. After thirty straight minutes of looking like a kicked rockruff nurse joy relented and allowed her to help. Miiya over that time slowly gained Nina's trust and affection and once she was given a completely clear bill of health after a month of Visits Nurse Joy said it was okay to take Nina home so long as Miiya took extra special care of Nina for the next week. That time was what it took for Miiya to find out she had not only her parents talent in the medical field but she had the passion and motivation to push it the extra time. She declared that she was going to once she was comfortable with leaving home she, Kurai, and Nina were going to find somewhere that she could study to be able to become the best Poke-doctor ever. Even better than Nurse Joy.

Name: Marion Vistel
Age: 12
Team: Ignite
Gender: Female
Hometown: Pueltown, Almia
Career path: Battles (aiming to be champion)

Appearance: Standing at 4’9”, Marion is a young girl with long, bright pink hair that she often ties back into two pigtails and blue eyes. When not wearing her uniform, she can be seen in a white t-shirt with a pink flower on the front of it as well as a blue skirt. She also wears brown shoes and has a polka dotted backpack.

Personality: Formerly a lot more excitable and energetic when she was much younger, Marion now has a more sad air around her at times. She is quite sensitive and, still being young, can take things such as losing a battle hard. Marion also isn’t good at facing her emotions, as she never really learned how to, and will hold things in until she can’t anymore. Even so, she is generally good-natured and cares a lot for her pokemon. Being from Almia, which is mainly populated by Rangers, there are a lot of things about being a Trainer that Marion doesn’t know – especially when it comes to battles. Sometimes she draws blanks mid-battle or forgets what moves her pokemon has, something which deeply upsets her. Still, she is very focused on her goal of becoming champion, wanting to make it to that title fast – as if everything depended on it.

Born and raised within the Almia region, Marion has always been accustomed to Pokemon Rangers. They were like real, living superheroes to her. Everyday, without fail, she would excitedly wait for the Almia Times to come so she could read about any of the newest adventures from her favorite Rangers, but her excitement would reach new heights if there were any mention of her parents – who are Top Rangers, working at Almia’s Ranger Union and often off on missions, accompanied by their partners Jolteon and Glaceon. They were busy people, always being needed somewhere, so it was always nice to be able to hear anything about them at all.

Because her mother and father weren’t able to be around much, Marion lived with her grandparents in Pueltown, as well as with her grandparents’ Gardevoir and Gallade – the pair mainly acting as assistants of sorts, helping the elderly couple around the house and with chores, or tagging along on errands. But they also looked after Marion, keeping her under a watchful eye when she played outside, which was often.

Marion spent a lot of her time around Pueltown’s harbor, staring out at the sea or watching the boats. She also would venture out into Vien Forest, despite Gardevoir often trying to dissuade her from doing so. Playing with the pokemon there was just way too much fun for her though, so there was no chance of convincing Marion to go back to the harbor or back home. If she wanted to play in the forest, then she would. She was just a little too excited to stop and think of the possible dangers.

Marion had managed to make friends with some of the pokemon living within Vien Forest, such as a Pichu, a pair of Buneary, and a Cherubi. She enjoyed playing many games with them, something that she could do for hours. However, there was another pokemon that had caught her attention, one that hadn’t been so eager to play.

It was a Shinx. He often kept his distance from Marion and other pokemon, preferring to silently watch them from the bushes instead. His standoffish nature intrigued Marion and she tried more than once to make friends. She wouldn’t get too close, just kneel down from a distance and quietly talk in an attempt to coax him out. It never worked, usually he just stoically stared at her or ran off.

That day had been no different. Shinx had appeared once more, watching quietly. The only difference was that Marion didn’t see any of her other pokemon friends around, making it just the two of them, aside from Gardevoir and Gallade who were watching.

Marion had taken a seat near the Shinx, trying to move a little slowly so as to not startle him. She asked if he knew where her friends were today, but all she got in return was Shinx’s intense stare.

Her mind beginning to wander, the young girl didn’t think much of his lack of response and had started talking about what was on her mind. She talked about what she had read about in the newspaper that morning, mentioning that her parents were on the front page. Apparently, one of their latest missions had brought them all the way out to Hia Valley in order to assist other Rangers in calming a rampaging Abomasnow, who’s destructive behavior had been scaring the other pokemon in the area, as well as the people living in Shiver Camp.

“I bet my dad’s Jolteon was super cold! Hehe…” She paused for a moment as her smile faded a little. “Um..it sounded cool when I was reading it, but..”

She brought her knees up to her chest as the Shinx stared at her, his gaze stronger than ever. “Abomasnow..is a strong pokemon, right? So when it’s mad..it’s a little scary.” She frowned. “I don’t know..if I could..”

She then blinked before laughing a little. “Oh..um! Hehe, sorry..It’s just, one day, I’m going to be like them – a real Ranger! And when I do, we can be together all the time!”

Marion let out a sigh. “..I just..really, really want to see them..”

The Shinx suddenly walked out of his usual hiding spot in the bushes, moving so he stood before her. He didn’t say anything for a little bit, before eventually muttering a “shi” and placing a paw on top of her hand.

Marion was certain her eyes had lit up from the gesture, a smile spreading across her face once more. “Do you..understand that feeling?”

Shinx just looked away.

The moment was quickly interrupted as Shinx's ears twitched a little and he turned his head, growling at something. Gardevoir moved quickly with Gallade right behind her, gathering Marion into her arms as Gallade got into a defensive position. Marion didn’t understand what was happening, until she saw it.

There were about three Beedrill flying towards them. They didn’t look to be in a friendly mood, seemingly agitated about something. They were quick to try and attack the group, aiming their stingers at them. However, Shinx’s fur started to gleam, the glow itself blinding the Beedrill momentarily – giving Gardevoir and Gallade enough time to get away and take Marion out of the forest safely.

After that, the two pokemon were quite insistent on heading home for the day. Marion agreed, but paused when she noticed Shinx trailing a little behind them. She had never seen him leave Vien Forest before. Smiling, Marion asked if he wanted to come with her. He didn’t look at her for a moment, before eventually meeting her gaze. He then gave a small nod.

From that day on, Shinx had suddenly become part of Marion’s life. Her grandparents were surprised when she brought him home, but didn’t object to him staying in the house as long as Marion could properly take care of him.

Giving him the nickname “Leo”, Marion was often accompanied by the Shinx whenever she went out to play and when she went to sleep at night, the pokemon laying at the foot of her bed. Being together was an adjustment that felt right and as time passed, the two became used to the other’s presence. They even managed to work up to the point where Leo was okay with being carried around in the girl’s arms.

When Marion got older, around the age of twelve, she enrolled into the Ranger School. It seemed like the natural thing to do, considering she had wanted to be a Ranger. Besides, her parents and grandparents were all graduates of the school, and she had intended to follow in their footsteps.

But living in a dorm was something she had never done before. At this point she also wasn’t used to being without Leo, who she had to leave back at her grandparents’ house while she was attending the school. She was kind of off to a rough start to her days at the school, which wasn’t made easier when it came to class.

It felt like there was a lot to learn about when it came to being a Pokemon Ranger. Marion did well on tests and such as long as she studied, except she struggled in applying that knowledge to real life situations. It was why she could never wrap her brain around using the school-issued capture styler, which made her feel less than in comparison to her other classmates.

The more time she spent at the Ranger School, the more Marion felt as if things were not going as she had dreamed they would. She had begun feeling as if she was not quite Ranger material. Feeling down, she had decided to write a letter to her parents. She wasn’t sure if they would see it, but she wanted to hear some advice. Their advice, in particular. They were just one of the few Top Rangers after all, so advice from them would mean a lot.

While waiting for a response, Marion found herself standing in front of the Pledge Stone on the school grounds. She’d heard rumors about it before. Supposedly, if you make a pledge in front of it, it was bound to come true. If that were true..then Marion decided to offer a pledge, that one day she would find her path, one way or another. She just had to figure it out, somehow..

Not long after that, she received a letter from her parents. They said that if attending the Ranger School did not make her happy, then she didn’t need to be there. There was more than one path and she was more than welcome to explore other options. In fact, they had heard of another school in a place called Violet City, suggesting that she perhaps consider going there. They studied more than just being a Ranger there, so there was a chance she could find something she wanted to do.

Then, they added at the end that they were planning on coming home soon for a short time. They had a surprise for Marion.

It felt like the first interaction she had with her parents in a long time. She read and reread their letter, feeling more confused at the mention of a surprise than her unknown path in life. Still, if they were coming home..then she wanted to be there.

The following day, Marion had approached Principal Lamont with her situation, mentioning that she was doubtful that she could be a Ranger and was thinking about transferring to another school. He seemed sympathetic and understanding. Then, remembering how the letter ended, she added that she needed to go home.

He had paused, a kind look still in his eyes as he gathered his words. He said that there was usually a little more paperwork involved with these things, as they were still in the middle of the school year. But he knew her parents. He especially knew how busy they were, as a lot of Top Rangers were, it seemed a break never came for them. Keeping that in mind, he was willing to be more lenient in this situation. If they were coming home, then it must be something important. He wasn’t about to keep her from them.

Feeling satisfied and maybe a little excited, Marion had gotten up to leave when Lamont suddenly added that he saw a lot of her mother and father in her. She has that same determination that he saw in them when they were students themselves. He said that, even if she weren’t a Ranger, he was certain she could find something she wanted to do. He would only hope that it was something that would make her smile.

When she did finally manage to return home, the only ones she saw around were her grandparents, Gallade & Gardevoir, and Leo. Confused, she asked where her parents were. Her grandmother said that they had been here, but just a little white ago were suddenly called for an unexpected mission at Puel Sea. But, she said that they left the surprise waiting in her bedroom.

Marion felt hurt by this. She didn’t even know if she wanted to look at any surprises right now. She really just wanted to see her parents..still, her grandparents seemed to want her to see it, so she went up to her room.

When she opened her bedroom door, she felt herself immediately being tackled by something. It was making a lot of noise as it nuzzled against her cheek. Looking at what must be her surprise, Marion saw something fluffy and brown.

An Eevee..smiling, her grandmother said it was the offspring of her mother’s Glaceon and her father’s Jolteon. Her parents had been taking care of their egg at the Ranger Union for a time, and when it hatched they thought to pass it down to Marion. Now it was her’s.

“Isn’t that wonderful?”

Marion stared at the Eevee, who was clearly happy and wagging its tail. Then, all at once, she just broke down into tears.

Her grandparents were speaking to her in concerned tones, but she didn’t hear any of it. Seeing the state she was now in, they eventually let her be and quietly shut the door behind them. The Eevee looked worried and tried to lick her tears away, but Marion turned away.

She was upset and sad. The surprise hadn’t been as important to her as seeing her parents. How long had it been since she’d seen them in person? She couldn’t remember..if she hadn’t seen their faces in newspapers, she probably would have forgotten what they looked like by now..

Through her tears, Marion had eyed the stack of newspapers in her room. All of them featured her parents. She had started collecting them when she was a lot younger, so she could look at the pictures of them. So she could remember.

Feelings flooded through her and she suddenly grabbed one, tearing it into pieces. The Eevee watched in worry, while Leo just stared. She didn’t feel any better. When it had settled in on what she'd just done, Marion cried even more.

After some hours had passed, Marion finally felt tired. But she wanted to do something. She got on her computer and looked into the other regions. She had only ever lived in the Almia region, so she wasn’t sure if other regions were similar or different to it. The school her parents mentioned also wasn’t in Almia..so, what was it like?

Marion learned that there were a lot more “pokemon trainers” in other regions, rather than Rangers. Also, some regions had “pokemon leagues” and..champions? Marion paused as she read that word. A champion..she said the word out loud. It reminded her of Top Rangers.

If she became champion..maybe, her parents would come see her..

Becoming champion has to be more important than any mission, surely..right?

Pokemon

Species: Shinx
Name: Leo
Gender: Male
Ability: Intimidate
Moves: Thunder Shock, Bite, Tackle, Charge

Standoffish and avoidant of other people, Leo isn’t exactly friendly when meeting someone for the first time. He can also be aggressive and isn’t above growling at another person or pokemon, at times letting his body crackle with electricity in warning for them to back off. In battle, Leo often takes charge and decides to use moves on his own. This is mostly because Marion doesn’t have a clue what she’s doing sometimes, so if Leo is in battle, he’ll just act on his own. In the past, he was a victim of the Vien Forest fire, leaving Leo with a fear of fire and fire-type pokemon. He also lost Luxio in the midst of it, a pokemon who had acted as his caretaker.

Species: Eevee
Name: Harmony
Gender: Female
Ability: Adaptability
Moves: Quick Attack, Sand Attack, Tackle, Helping Hand

An excitable and friendly Eevee, Harmony is always curious about the world and the people and pokemon in it. She’s very affectionate, often tackling those who she loves, including Leo. She puts her full heart into anything she does, but when it comes to battles she has a tendency to hesitate. She also can tell when Marion is feeling down, but is never quite sure how to cheer her up.

Rendering Appearance...
The first thing you'd notice about Hazel is the long, loose cascade of white hair sprouting from his head, streaming down his back and reaching the back of his knees. Usually kept in a loose ponytail, it flows freely and often gets in the way of daily life—but he likes it. The second would be the pair of intense jade eyes sat upon his face; one of the only things his mother had passed onto him in terms of physical features. Standing at roughly 5'7", Hazel displays a lean yet slightly muscular frame which he often displays with the aid of sleeveless shirts, even going so far as to cut the sides out of some of them. Despite this, Hazel is not vocal about his appearance, as that would be too much and others would see him as "uncool", instead allowing others to bask in his appearance as necessary.

His version of the Johto Academy's Team Purity outfit is a lackluster and delinquint-ified one, only barely scraping by in terms of what would be acceptable. Rolled sleeves, dark jeans with an obscene amount of tears along the legs, and worn sneakers—anything to break away from the norm and defy his superiors.

Born in the streets of Castellia, Aspen was your typical troublemaker from an ignorant family. With not much option, they sent him to a military school, to try and improve his personality. This backfired though, as the kid only learned new tricks and gained a new found love for power. That was the only thing he obtained though, being locked away from society, he grew a love for video games becoming a fan of streamers who always entertained his free time. Once he left, he volunteered to join a new school, promising to use it to improve himself and become someone his parents could be proud of, even if they didn't care.
In reality, he wanted a fresh start, new people to control, to bully and to submit under him.

Case Number 3412009: Zera Quinn.

A genius or people keep telling her that. The Sinnoh League was quite interested in keeping her in Sinnoh and enrolling her in Sinnoh Academy or even scouting her for a future Elite Four. That was until she left without a word, on a journey of her own at 10. When she left she studied how to make her partner Lukina the perfect combatant. If they wanted her to apply her so called genius and make herself worthy of the power and influence in the future she would do it... In the three years she would return. Return she did, she and her partner Lukina were leagues different than what anyone would have envisioned. Her own parents didn't even recognize her. She trained herself just as hard as she trained Lukina. She molded herself and Lukina into her envisionment of Strenght and Power. CQC training, raw strength, flexibility, and mental training for battle. When she was tested for the positions per her request and even after showing them everything she'd worked toward and bled for... They claimed she lacked what they were looking for. That she lacked the kind of heart they were looking for. It wasn't enough that she and Lukina defeated everyone else. In the end someone she absolutely crushed was chosen for the programs she worked to achieve.

She couldn't understand, what could someone's heart have to do with strength. Lukina and her had the will and drive to succeed yet it isn't enough. It enraged the girl and she vowed in her heart that she'd make them pay for passing her up for some weaker child who didn't understand what power was. It took her about half a year to devise just how she should do it. Jhoto Academy has something of a rivalry with Sinnoh Academy due to the back and forth of tournament victory's in the past several years... She was going to join this Academy and get her revenge one step at a time... She'd introduce them to the true meaning of power.

sky.pngSkylar ✨ Davenport

Age: 21
Team: Strike, only because they like yellow.
Gender: Demi-guy leaning genderqueer, they/them preferred but responds to and also accepts he/him.
Hometown: Lilycove City, Hoenn
Career Path: Wannabe hero, childhood actor, "retired" idol from the mega popular boy band/group ECHOS, but since none of those are things they can study... Uh... Battling... And Music.
Additional Appearance Details: Skylar's most obvious physical feature is their very fluffy sandy brown hair that frequently resembles a windswept birds nest. Their pretty ocean colored eyes are also a nice feature, or at least they've been told. They also have their tongue pierced, as well as their ears, in both the lobe and the cartilage. Accessorizing is a big part of Skylar's wardrobe, so they wear necklaces and bracelets, which they match to their outfit every single day. The one thing that's always on their person is the bright green bandana that usually hangs out on their right wrist, masquerading as a bracelet, or around their neck, masquerading as a scarf. It's their signature item from their idol days. They were not the tallest of their group, standing at only 5'10, and they're skinny and fit from all the years of performing and sweating while smiling and having fun in front of the fans.
The blazer of the school uniform is frequently hidden underneath a jacket and the tie is too stuffy to actually be wrapped around Skylar's neck. It somehow vanished and Skylar has no idea where it went to. A mystery, really.

Personality:
+ || Fearless, Charismatic, VERY Extroverted, Straight-forward, Determined, Artistically Minded.
- || Arrogant, Clumsy, Dense, Willful, Prideful, Idiot.

Skylar wants very desperately to be a hero for people and has taken on various aspects to become this, and now that they are no longer an idol or actor, this has become quite obvious. They're not completely crazy about being a hero; they just want to save people somehow, in one way or another, and sometimes this means tackling a purse thief or saving a fair maiden from a troublesome situation. It's no big deal though, and you're very welcome in advance, lovely fair maidens out there ; )

They have practically no fear and are full of confidence and courage, which is a combination that often times leads to reckless and very brash decisions. When they were an idol/actor they presented as a charismatic, charming, flirty, light-hearted, friendly person who always had a smile and wink to give to everyone, no matter if they were a fan or not. Their fans rarely saw them as anything less than positive and they still do not like to be seen as anything less than positive, but they are not one to push optimism onto other people and are actually far more realistic than they come off as.

Several aspects of their idol persona has merged with their regular personality over the years and it is hard to separate their idol self from their true self. Something that most people never expect from them is that they are quite genuine with all they say or do. They also care greatly for their fans and even more so for those they view as friends, but they do not trust blindly and are not afraid to call out problematic behavior if they see it, even if the person being called out happens to be a best friend. If someone manages to upset them then they can be vindictive and cold-hearted and very sly, which is rather surprising, considering the fact that Skylar was the sunshine of their former idol group. They kept the cockiness and sarcasm away from the fans, because those were viewed as unattractive traits and the sarcastic one was not their assigned role to play. Now that they have the freedom to be whatever they want to be, they don't really know what to do (except be a hero) or what to be (except be a hero).

Background:
All of Skylar's life, there has been pressure to be the best. Not the best trainer or battler, but the best musician and actor, to fill in the shoes of their parents. This, perhaps surprisingly, did not really ruin their life as one might expect. It did, however, set them up perfectly to take a terribly dramatic fall from grace, but... Well, nothing can ever truly prepare one for that.

As a young child, Skylar never got to explore any other hobbies except for the creative ones, mainly because other hobbies would be too distracting. They got to experience a life very different from all of those other kids in Lilycove and instead of going out on a journey or signing up to participate in contests at ten, they entered the acting scene at ten.

They were exceptional as a child actor and completely stole the show in every show or film they were in, and they quickly became known as a prodigal child actor at a young age. The limelight was something they got used to being inside of and they didn't mind it too much. They had grown up around famous parents and a famous coordinator cousin, so they figured out how to be in front of the camera quickly.

They never preferred the camera, however; they liked it best when they could hang out with their Pokemon. Friends were not allowed by their parents, see, since they were the worst kind of distractions, so all Skylar had to talk to and complain to were their Zigzagoon's, who listened and supported them as best as the two small Pokemon could. A rather lonely upbringing it had been, though the sorrow was alleviated by his cousin's coordinator fame and all the interesting people she met in that sphere. Very quickly, Skylar became known among coordinator fans, and there was much speculation if they would also become a coordinator on top of being an actor.

The simple answer was no. The simple answer was "I'm supporting my cousin". The simple answer would end up biting them in the butt much later in their life.

It was not surprising to the public when it was announced, when they were fourteen years old, that they would become a member of an up and coming all male idol group. It was surprising to Skylar, though. This was not something that had been discussed with them prior to the announcement so the surprise on their face during that filmed revelation was very genuine.

They did expect that this was the path that they were headed down, since their father had such big aspirations for them to be a musician, but still. Shocker! And very terrifying. They had no idea who these up-and-coming idols were, but Skylar went into the first meeting with the guys with only a tiny bit of fear and a positive attitude. It almost got completely broken because of the hostility of the group members, but Skylar was incredibly stubborn and very determined to make them all eat their words. They weren't just a "pretty face only to attract fans" - they were good at singing and they could play almost five instruments and they wrote their own songs! That was more than most of those pompous up-and-coming brats, who went by the group name ECHOS, could say for themselves.

It took a couple of months of proving themself to the group, but after three out of four of the group accepted and even befriended them, the leader of the group relented and admitted he was just pissed because none of them had any idea Skylar was going to join them. It had been a surprise to everyone involved, and at the time it had not been a welcome one. A new member, the group had worried, would throw off the dynamics they'd been building and completely ruin everything.

This was proving to not be the case and the boys all actually quite enjoyed the energy and cheerfulness that Skylar brought to their practices. They also liked that they coached them on their vocals and taught them how to play some songs on the piano. The group ended up becoming friends quickly after the leader relented and Skylar was incredibly pleased that this had happened, since they no longer were lonely. They had friends they could vent to now that weren't family! It was ideal.

It continued to be ideal throughout Skylar's teenage and young adult years. ECHOS took off and became a sensation in several regions, primarily Johto, Unova and Kalos. Skylar themself continued acting when they could and tackled the international acting scene when their idol group went on their first international tour. It had been difficult to juggle the various tasks, but Skylar had literally been born and raised to be exceptional, so it all went pretty well. Most things in Skylar's life were going very very well for them, actually, but good things do not last, and soon after Skylar turned twenty-one things would come crashing down.

The beginning of this downfall began when a picture was circulated of Skylar and the leader (named Aiden) caught in a scandalous moment. Both parties denied this and came up with excuse after excuse, but no one really believed either of them. The fans of ECHOS did not mind this picture and were very supportive of both idols, but Aiden's parents were not supportive.

In fact, they were so unsupportive that they completely destroyed Skylar's reputation.

They made up lies about them and pushed false narratives. They kept pushing and pushing until Skylar had no choice left but to enter an early retirement out of the idol group. This was awful, because Skylar was very close with their entire group, but they were now banned from spending any time with any of them. They were "tainted" and they'd "only bring down their old teammates". Truthfully, this did not deter Skylar very much, and they met up with their teammates in secret frequently. After almost being discovered by paparazzi four different times, accidentally and kind of dangerously, they decided they'd just wait until everything settled down.

Things would not settle down anytime soon, because the rumors and damaged reputation permeated into the acting and contest sphere. No one really wanted to interact with such a scandalous former idol and this became very apparent very quickly. One day, when Skylar was watching his cousin perform in a contest, they were targeted and accosted and forced into a position where they needed to defend themselves. Cameras had been ready to catch the drama, which did accidentally (Skylar claims) involve a fist to a face and a supposedly broken nose.

There were three problems that cropped up from this situation: the first was that the person who accosted them was a very well respected and admired coordinator who never did any wrong. The second was that that very well respected coordinator had a whole horde of fans that very rapidly turned into Sykar's haters. The cherry on top was that this coordinator was the older brother of Aiden, and also was the arch-rival of his cousin.

And, of course, now they were "violent" and "spiraling so rapidly that they'd never be able to recover" and also "a horrible person". The famous coordinator that set everything up made the accident into such a spectacle that Skylar's already tattered reputation was practically ripped to shreds. Even though his nose wasn't really broken. And it was all fake. But no one would listen to Skylar anymore.

Shame, on all sides, from every angle. Complete humiliation. Irreparable damage. A very dark moment.

Skylar went into hiding. The story got spread. Skylar was painted as the main problem, of course, and they were also called destructive and selfish and a complete disaster that should be avoided at all costs. This hit Skylar very hard and nothing that their parents or Pokemon did could help cheer them up. Not even visits from their idol group friends could really help.

After about a month of brooding in self pity and not seeing a way out of this complete catastrophe, Skylar remembered hearing about Johto Academy and figured running away there might help them recover, maybe a little. Maybe the people there would be... nicer? It was a longshot, but that didn't matter, because it was a glimmer of hope. That was enough for them to pack their bags, apply, then run away from their disastrous home life before even getting confirmation they were accepted.

Pokemon

263.png
Ziggy, a ♂ Zigzagoon.
Backstory: This little Zigzagoon has been in Skylar's life ever since they were five years old. He was a gift from their parents and the very young Skylar wanted to see what hatched from the egg immediately so that they could see what their first Pokemon would be. They were very excited when the baby Pokemon danced around them and played with them, and Skylar called the Zigzagoon the very best name ever: Ziggy, from the way that he moved. A very intelligent name to give to a Zigzagoon that no one has ever used before. Ziggy loved the nickname and very quickly fell in love with his trainer, and has been the biggest encouragement and best Pokemon friend in Skylar's life. He's also the one with the brains and he manages to prevent his trainer from doing stupid things, but he is one of the only Pokemon to try to stop Skylar from doing stupid things, so it is constantly a losing battle.

There have been several close calls with Ziggy, most of them because he fled from Skylar every time Skylar brought a new Pokemon onto the team. These were fits of jealousy that always ended in Ziggy crying for help and Skylar finding him, panting and very concerned. The other times that close calls happened involved Ziggy getting stolen when Skylar was distracted and Ziggy fighting against Pokemon that were much stronger than he was and Ziggy protecting his trainer from danger. The Zigzagoon has became more docile in recent years after all of those close calls and near death experiences but it's safe to say that either Ziggy or Skylar influenced each other, though no one knows who influenced who first.

Ability: Pickup.
Moves: Tackle, Growl, Headbutt, Mud Slap.

Galarian-Zigzagoon-600x600.png
Zaggy, a "Shiny" ♂ Zigzagoon (Galarian).
Backstory: Zaggy was formerly owned by a cruel trainer that did not appreciate all the hard work that he did. Said former trainer was a nightmare to interact with and nothing Zaggy did was good enough for her, and there were moments where she lashed out and almost hit her own Pokemon. She got so enraged one day that she destroyed Zaggy's Pokeball, affectively releasing him from his forced contract with her. He did not know the region he had been brought to and got lost very quickly. Scary noises were all over the place and he ran away from something big that passed overhead and got scratched up and badly injured.

When Skylar discovered this "shiny" Zigzagoon limping around Lilycove city when they were a mere six years old, they were beyond elated to have discovered him. A shiny Pokemon, out in the wild! That was so crazy! They did not understand that different forms of Pokemon existed based on the region they were from and never understood that the oddly colored Zigzagoon was originally from Galar. It didn't matter to them and they simply scooped the black and white Pokemon up into their arms and took him back home, in order to tend to the injury on his leg. Zaggy was eager to accept the affection and tender care from the child and did not attempt to run away from Skylar, and ended up finding a Pokeball and catching himself because child Skylar was too foolish to remember to do that. Ever since then, Zaggy has been constantly by Skylar's side, offering them affection when they needed it and putting on performances with Ziggy to make them laugh.

Ability: Gluttony
Moves: Sand Attack, Snarl, Headbutt, Pin Missile.

30-301568_transparent-ferret-png-shiny-furret-pokemon-go.png
Fifi, a ♀ Furret.
Backstory: Fifi was not originally Skylar's Pokemon - she was a Pokemon that belonged to Aiden. Skylar positively adored her and always cuddled with her and talked with her, and she enjoyed their interactions and always complained whenever Skylar left. It was not a very difficult decision for her original trainer to give her over to Skylar, since they got along with her a lot better than he did. Skylar was entirely surprised and honored to be given the Pokemon but they never complained about the new responsibility and instead handled the new Pokemon very well. They brought her along whenever they hung out with Aiden and they made sure to include her in a lot of things, so that she could become more a member of Skylar's team. There was only one main problem with the Furret, and that was that she enjoyed fighting other Pokemon... a lot. And Skylar was not a very good trainer. The problem has mostly been dealt with (Skylar thinks) but Fifi still is very eager to battle and wants Skylar to focus on training their team instead of focusing on anything else.

Ability: Keen Eye.
Moves: Agility, Coil, Quick Attack, Slash.

734-Yungoos.png
Racer, a ♀ Yungoos.
Backstory: This mongoose-esque Pokemon was caught at the same time as Whistle about a year ago, and it was honestly a gigantic mistake. See, the intention was to catch Whistle, and not Racer, but Racer tripped Skylar up and the balls in their bag got scattered and Racer ran right into one. This is the exact reason why she has the name that she has. Skylar is really not sure what to do with her because she was an accident, so they often let her out to hunt down food or to keep reptile Pokemon away from them. Racer does not mind this job she's been assigned and she actually really likes the trainer and team she's with, but she tends to snap at Ziggy and Zaggy to scare them away from her food. She also is on the side of fight wild Pokemon and train the team and do not back down from anything, much to Ziggy's dismay.

Ability: Strong Jaw.
Moves: Leer, Payback, Work-Up, Bite.

732.png
Whistle, a ♂ Trumbeak.
Backstory: Skylar realized one day in Alola, after battling with a random trainer who had a fighting-type Pokemon that swept through their Pokemon like they were made of paper, that they had a very obvious weakness in their team. To try to counter this blaring weakness, Skylar sought out a flying-type Pokemon, because their group mates (who were out exploring Alola with them) told them that a bird would be pretty useful. This was a smart decision and a Pikipek was quickly discovered, but so was a Yungoos. The story has already been told so it shall not be repeated, but Whistle did get nailed right on top of his head with a pokeball, which was very painful and which perpetuated some resentment from the bird for a couple of weeks. The resentment has faded and Whistle is aware that his trainer is perhaps not the brightest bulb in the batch, but Whistle believes that Skylar has good potential, if only they would train their team. Because Whistle is aware that Skylar is not the smartest, he is intensely protective of them and frequently breaks free from his ball in order to defend his trainer, which is only sometimes an issue.

Ability: Skill Link.
Moves: Rock Blast, Echoed Voice, Supersonic, Pluck.

Name: Nova Caddel
Age: 17
Team: Strike
Gender: Female
Hometown: Nimbasa City, Unova
Career path: “Heh, none of that stuff matters to me!” (she has no idea what she’s doing)

Appearance: Being at the height of 5’4”, Nova has shoulder-length, silver hair with blunt bangs and green eyes. When not wearing the Strike uniform, she can usually be seen in baggy clothes or in hoodies that are too big for her. Her usual go-to outfit, though, is a Zorua hoodie with sweatpants. Sometimes she might wear sandals with it.

Personality: Nova could best be described as a desperate people-pleaser. She has always had a desire to fit in with others and find a place to belong, but she often found those things in the wrong places with the wrong people. Still, she so badly wished to keep any connections she had made – no matter how awful they were – that she would be willing to change herself entirely to suit others’ needs. As such, Nova has become more of a meaner person after being around a bad crowd, often taunting others or acting as a minion for bullies who happen to be in a leadership position – whose praise and acceptance she seeks the most of all, as she feels directionless without it. There is a sense of control to it all for her, not to mention putting others down is as easy as breathing. It stopped mattering after a while who got hurt in the process. Plus, there was a bit of a rush when she engaged in bad behavior. Her true self, however, is far more awkward and uncertain, often speaking little and not being very noticeable. At her core, she is extremely easy to break.

Nova didn’t have the greatest home life. Her mother hadn’t really planned for a child, but then Nova showed up and that was something she was now forced to deal with. There was always a sense of tension in the house whenever the two talked, with conversations often evolving into arguments. One of these arguments led Nova’s mom to locking Nova out of the house one night in a fit of anger – something which both shocked and terrified the girl. But no matter how much she banged on the door, it didn’t seem to be opening back up.

Not knowing what else to do, Nova began to wander around. As she passed through a particular area, she saw something move out of the corner of her eye. Pausing, something moved again, and in the blink of an eye Nova saw a young girl approach under the light of a streetlight – a girl who looked exactly like her. Same hair color, eye color, even her clothes matched perfectly.

Immediately, Nova was freaked out. She backed away, but managed to trip and quickly met the ground. She heard her mirror image giggle as if amused, the girl now standing over her with her green eyes staring into her own. She then proceeded to sniff her like a Lillipup, and the fear Nova had been feeling quickly turned into confusion.

“..What are you– oh..” That was when Nova noticed it – a Zorua tail. She looked back at the girl – no, pokemon – who was now frowning after digging around in Nova’s pockets. “Are you..hungry..?”

That was the beginning of her meetings with Zorua, who Nova eventually named Luna. She often would sneak dinner scraps to her at night, or just seek her out when she couldn’t handle being at home. It was only a little unnerving seeing the pokemon, as Luna seemed to enjoy transforming into her and then staying that way for the majority of their meeting. Still, the more she did it, the less her Zorua tail would stick out – until, one day, it just wasn’t there at all.

At one point, Nova fell in with a sketchy group from school. They weren’t the nicest people, but they were the first to try to reach out to her, and that kind of overridden any sense of doubt she may have had towards them. One day, while skipping school to hang out at one of their houses, one of the guys introduced her to some of the streamers he had started watching. Out of all of them, though, there was one that caught her eye. This was where she went down a rabbit hole of discovering the streaming world – a place that quickly acted as a much needed escape for when Nova needed it most.

Nova eventually started engaging with the group’s various activities at school, which was more than just skipping class. Most of it involved bullying other students – making fun of them, roughing them up a little. A few in the group even intimidated other students with pokemon of their own. During one incident where the group had ganged up on this one kid, they took every pokeball he had on him, even the ones that contained pokemon. They split up the pokeballs amongst themselves, with Nova being given an empty one. Someone grinned and said she could put it to better use. Which she did – that very night, Nova met up with Luna and held up the pokeball.

Luna seemed to understand what she was asking and cackled with what sounded like glee. She immediately pressed her head against the pokeball and was successfully caught.

Not too long after that, the principal of the school asked to meet with Nova’s mom. He said that Nova had become a bit of a..problem around the school, along with some other students. Some of the teachers had reprimanded her behavior and actions multiple times, but that hadn’t seemed to deter her. Because of this, the principal had felt that keeping her at this school would only cause the issue to grow. Saying this, he slid a list of schools towards her mother. He recommended that she find a place for her daughter to continue her education elsewhere.

The decision hadn’t been very hard to make. Nova’s mother found the ideal school to ship her off to, one that was quite far, in a whole other region. Johto Academy.

Pokemon

Species: Zorua
Name: Luna
Gender: Female
Ability: Illusion
Moves: Taunt, Fury Swipes, Scary Face, Knock Off

A pokemon who seems to find other humans amusing, especially when they look scared. To her, it’s just funny and she can’t help but to giggle over it. Luna gets enjoyment out of playing the role of a human, often transforming into Nova whenever she can, for however long she can. Similar to Nova, she gets a bit of a rush when being “bad” and enjoys participating in any way she can.

Welcome to the party! We got a high tempered hacker, emotionally unstable gamer, inocent child, giant Pokemon, shrooms selling hippie and much much more!

Name: Ivy Thatcher

Age: 12

Team: Ignite

Gender: Female (She/ Her)

Hometown: Castelia City, Unova

Career Path: "To be one of the strongest models in the world!" (Battle, Contest)

Appearance: Ivy takes great care in her appearance and her pokemon's. She aspires to become a model just like her mother, and tries to live as she does too. Though Ivy only stands at 4'4", her small, doe eyed appearance gives her a big advantage in contests. Her hair is a darker red wine color, which naturally blends well with her flushed, pale features and light pink eyes. She also has a beauty mark just under her right eye, which she claims is simply fate that she was born to be a model.

Personality: Ivy is a confident girl who does her best to be in the limelight at all times. She can be quite dramatic and extremely sensitive when it comes to getting herself dirty, but she also has a need for adventure and excitement! She adores doing makeovers with her friends and will spend hours trying on different outfits in stores. Ivy has a serious sweet tooth and will boast about her older brother often. She is also not above throwing out her family name in order to get what she wants. Some call her bratty and spoiled, but how else are you supposed to get to the top if not to put yourself out there?

Background: Ivy grew up in Castelia City, Unova, with her mother, father, two brothers and two sisters. Her mother works as a famous model around Unova and is currently on magazine covers around the world, while her father works as an entertainer show host. Suffice it to say, the family is not only famous but well off in money. Of course, their job often bled over into their home life with the kids as well. The siblings constantly fought for their parent's affection, and though they loved their kids all equally, it was difficult for them to show that due to the busy schedules. Ivy was used to having to compete for attention, and this certainly affected her as she grew older.

As time went on her oldest brother went on to college in the Johto region to become a chef, and a year later Ivy was sent to live with him until the start of the Johto Academy semester. Her younger brother and sister, who were too young to go to school, were sent to live with their aunt in Nacrene City, while their parents spent two months down in the Galar region.

Yes, I did it------------------------------------------------------------>shinji.jpg
Name: Pablo, but hates the name. Lets people pick a name for him.
I'll refer to him as "Kid" in the CS since that's the most common thing he's called
Age: 14
Team: Purity, DG
Gender: Male
Hometown: Mesagoza
Career Path: Gotta Catch Em' All/Complete a worldwide pokedex?
Personality: Generally pretty monotone when interacting with people. He can talk with people, and even feign positive interactions, but doesn't enjoy it in any way. With his pokemon, he behaves rather chill and to the average person, is the most "normal" he'll seem. He only trusts pokemon, and does not consider any people his friends. However, he won't wrong anyone he doesn't deem to deserve it.(Though, these days he seems to believe people deserve it rather quickly.) Dislikes authority in general.
Background: Kid was not born in Mesagoza, but where he was truly born is a mystery. His memory of his life before Mesagoza is frustratingly blurred. Kid was left by his parents in a local restaurant in Mesagoza when he was 12. He was eating when his parents told him to wait, as they had seen someone they know walk by. Why did he believe it? Who knows. He was only 12. He had no way of recognizing the distance his parents kept from him, even if he could feel it even before that day. After a few minutes, the cold splash of panic washes over his spine, as he runs out, not being able to see his parents. He runs, but his vision suddenly falls dark. He had tripped and hit his head. Thankfully, a fellow kid had stopped to help him get up, extending a hand to him. As he gets up, he thanks the kid who helped him before freezing. The kid... the kid that helped him... was HIM? Kid freaks out and runs back to the restaurant. There, he blabbers an explanation in between sobs, and eventually an officer arrives. The parents were nowhere to be found, and thus, he had nowhere to return to. He couldn't recall anything about where he's from, much less go there himself. There, in the middle of the restaurant, making a scene, the owners offered to house the child, at least for the night. Well, the stay had seemingly become permanent. Just when Kid seemed to have maybe found any significant level of comfort, things got worse. Having been told that the kid he saw as himself was probably just his imagination from his hit in the head, he somewhat was able to rest. However, the next day the restaurant owners woke Kid up, letting him know he would have to work to stay there. Throughout the following week, he became the restaurant's unpaid waiter, getting many smiles from customers. He hated his new life, and also still missed his parents. At least his few moments of calmness would be at night, where he would stare at the ceiling, lit up by the streetlights of the city. That is, until he was visited by a familiar face. A too familiar face... it was him. Or at least, something that looked like him. He resists the urge to scream, knowing it would only upset the owners. Whatever it was, it had tried to help him last. The least he could do was hear it out. "Hello?" he whispers to his duplicate. Unable to make out the full details of his own face through the darkness of his room, he sees the silhouette of his copy melt to the ground, becoming a pink blob on the ground. Huh, a pokemon? Something his child brain had not felt in a while consumed him. Curiosity. The pink blob morphed back into him, now back in the moonlight. What was strange, is that looking at it for more than a few seconds revealed that it actually looked almost nothing like him, only resembling him vaguely. Was it too weak to make a good copy of a person? He was only a child, becoming him would probably be much easier than a full adult. In his current form, he found it hard to believe he himself believed it to be himself. Was it really the impact to his head that made the pokemon look more accurate? His curiosity was spiking in a way he hadn't felt in such a long time. The "person" that stood infront of him barely even resembled a human, so how did nobody else react to it either? Beginning to question his own memory, he takes a seat. He looks at the pokemon, before realizing something. It suddenly looked like him! What was going on? He rubs his eyes. It looks the same! It looks almost perfectly like him! Before he can question himself more, his vision of the pokemon changes, as it suddenly becomes clear. The vision of the good copy disappears, revealing another pokemon standin beside the lesser copy. A purple pokemon with floating hands. This one he thinks he had heard of, a... Haunter? It seemed that together, the pokemon could compensate for the weaknesses of eachothers mimic. Haunter, who could only make visual illusions, and the other pink pokemon, who could only make the vague outline of a human. It was fascinating to him, and they seemed to be happy to see him. Something that made him a little happy in return. Over the next month or so, he would befriend the two pokemon, as the haunter would be away during the day, and the other would hide under his sorry excuse of a bed and sleep, waking up at night to hear out Kid and entertain him a bit. They became good friends, but it worried Kid. The restaurant owners were strictly anti pokemon, claiming that theres no reason for pokemon to be near a kitchen. He had asked about the possiblity of buying his own pokeball, but he had no money, and they didn't approve anyway. This all exploded in his face when the man found the pokemon under his bed, yelling "WHAT IN TARNATION IS DITTO DOING HERE" Kid, fearing for the safety of his pokefriend, grabs it and runs out, running to the only place he could think would help him. To the nearby Uva academy. There, he was allowed to stay, even with his friend, who he now knew was a Ditto. Kid had begun to call it Bubba anyway by that point, and it seemed to like the name more anyway. The next day, one of the professors would come to his room, carrying an egg in his arms. He tells Kid that it was found under his bed, and the owners wanted nothing to do with it. Thus, he kept it. He hadn't thought about it, but he probably would never see that Haunter again. He would end up spending the next year in Uva academy, where his knowledge on pokemon was brought to a very basic level. During that time, the egg would hatch. Out came a ghastly, but it was... different. Initially, a couple professors wanted to borrow him to analyze him. But Kid wouldn't allow, preparing to barricade his room if needed. Thankfully, they were understanding, deciding it was for the best to let him be. Every evening of that year, as the sun would set, he would take a walk down near the restaurant he was staying at, hoping for a familiar Haunter to appear. She never came. Was she caught by a trainer? Attacked by a wild pokemon? He didn't know. But upon the anniversary of his arrival at Uva Academy, he was asked what he would like to do to celebrate.

....

"I wanna leave. Not just here, but all of Paldea..."
So they were able to do that, arranging for him to attend Johto Academy. On his last day in Paldea, the school director payed him a visit. Kid was his usual distant self, and the director sat down at the student desk. "Pablo..." he begins to say, which Kid cringes to. "Sorry. Starkid, I know you have been through a lot. Which is why I approved your decision to want to leave Paldea. I'm merely here because I wished to see you off personally." Kid had a confused expression. "What... did you call me?" he asks, not expecting the random name. "You let people call you anything, right? Well, to me, you're a starkid. You've been through many betrayals and a lot of pain a kid like you should never have to feel. But, here you are! You still were open to learning, and I've seen the care you have for your two friends. Despite your distance, and facade against people, I can see the passion and care you have for your pokemon friends. You have not given up, and through your pokemon, your will to continue will show. I came to gift you these." he says, pulling out three luxury pokeballs. "Your friends will stick with you through thick and thin, and I know you don't like the idea of them being in pokeballs, but I assure you it's entirely comfortable for the pokemon, and will help to keep them safe." Kid grabs them, saying "I had already discussed it with Bubba and Nube. They think it would be convenient for them as well. Thank you." The professor quickly adds "W-Wait, one of those isn't empty." he points to one, clicking to button as a small pokemon comes out from it, appearing on the ground. "I noticed your two friends arent very... physically potent, and a nearby pokemon center had a trainer with an egg from a Tinkaton that they didn't want. One of our professors cared for it until it hatched a couple days ago, and I thought of you when I saw it. We both agreed to gift it to you. As a show of our good will, and as a final gift from your home region. She may not be able to do much now, but I promise someday she will be strong enough to defend you and your friends. You can even name her if you want." Kid looks at the Tinkatink, and smiles at her, which surprises the director. "Thank you, and thank the other professor. I'll be going now." he says, as Bubba and Nube go into their new pokeballs. Kid walks away, and doesn't look back. Once at Johto Academy, he was his usual self, and thus found himself in trouble more times than not. His habit of not speaking to authority figures and other adults usually making his punishments worst. However, it's led to him becoming involved with a particular "group" as of recently.

Mary often sticks to basic, bright attire — whites, blues, and pinks being the most common colors found in her wardrobe. She avoids wearing too much so as to appear unimportant and, as she would describe it, "normal," and thus usually wears shorts and short-sleeved button ups. Her hair, colored a deep, dark brown, is cut short, although she intends to grow it out for her Performance debut in Johto.

Backstory
From the people who know her, Mary Watson would be described as aloof, airheaded, forgetful, but with a good heart and good intentions. Although she acts like this in public, she's secretly very intelligent — something she chooses to hide away from the world to avoid being viewed as such. Being the only child of a renowned Johtoan scientist, she was showered with attention and adoration from both her father and the media. She was held upon a high pedestal, said to be a brilliant prodigy with every opportunity at success guaranteed. As time went on, Mary grew tired, annoyed of the constant attention from something herfather was known for.She withdrew from the public eye by appearing less intelligent on purpose. As a teenager, Mary continued to hide her true intellect — something her father noticed early on, and pressed for correction, forcing extra lessons and tutors to put her on track. Their relationship strained, Mary grew distant from her father, though he never stopped caring for her. At the age of fourteen, Mary had decided on what she wanted to do with her life, and asked her father about enrolling at the Johto Academy. Thrilled his daughter had taken an interest in her academic pursuits, he agreed as long as she took his Scyther to protect her. She went about her studies quietly, keeping her true skills hidden out of comfort. She was a very fast learner and quickly found the top of her classes, even treating studying as a hobby. Still, this was not what she wanted. Mary's goals went beyond her intellectual pursuits, laying among stardom. The life of a Pokemon performer was something she admired for many years and wanted nothing more than to experience in person. She had read and watched enough about them and their Pokemon to know that this was what she intended to do. Mary sought to learn everything she could from her classes to prepare for her debut.
Her true talents remained hidden, but as she grew more confident in her skills, her studies in Performance Art became her sole focus. Mary's first official debut will soon take the form of a final exam.
