Appearance: Short crimson spikey red hair, slick back, Bright pink eyes, fairly tan skin, muscular lad standing at 6'1" ft and weighing 192 lbs. He has a scar on his left cheek where a wild pokémon bit him.

When he isn't in school uniform, he wears a blue/white/black checkered flannel shirt with the top two buttons undone. A necklace with a sharpedo tooth, roughed up faded denim jeans with rips on the knees. Steel toed boots with long black socks. He has a dog whistle on a necklace regardless whether he's wearing casual or school wear.

Personality: He's extremely outgoing and friendly. Maybe too outgoing because he doesn't understand personal space too well. Everything is exciting and interesting. Even if he doesn't know what it is. He's happy to be alive and he wants everyone to know that. He also considers everyone his friend. You are his good friend. Yes, you! The person reading this. He doesn't know you and you don't know him, but you are now his friend and he cherishes this hypothetical moment.
Background: Dolan's parents were dog breeders. Dolan likes dogs. Dogs are great. Maybe even perfect. What's not to like? His parents raised all sorts of dogs. His father is one of the few people in all of Sinnoh that has Pureblood Hisui Growlithes and arcanine. He has various other breeds of dogs but mostly of the arcanine breed. Both Hisui and Kanto variety.

Dolan's first pokémon was a hisui growlithe. From a very early age, he was bitten by a stray dog which left a large scar on the side of his cheek. His dog Rook managed to fend off the wild attacker, but not before it had done its damage to Dolan. Dolan spent a week recovering. He was nervous around dogs for a while but still kept Rook close. He'd eventually go around collecting all sorts of breeds, but Rook would always be his first. His father being the successful wealthy man who was the reason Dolan was able to visit these various regions and see different pokémon. One of the most notable places Dolan been to was the Johto Academy

Personality: Chill, very laid back under normal circumstances and rather soft spoken compared to others with a more vibrant personality. Appears rather dull witted and incapable with no future ahead of him to the judgements types out there, yet… underneath is outer shell and appearance he’s rather passionate or once was and fairly smart. Despite his procrastinator ways he never seems to have trouble with his exams. Least not exactly…. Not in a academic ability sort of way just timing is all… He can run late sometimes… often really, but it’s done and that’s the important part, right? Besides the grades and passing classes, etc. meanwhile he loves food, almost always finding something to eat and somehow burning off the fat with very minimal effort it seems. High metabolism gifted this one. Joss would much rather chill and enjoy life while wondering his aimless path that once had more purpose and passion behind it. A dreamer with a path now just a dreamer who likes to chill and not rush anything. Under serious circumstances and conditions he can become rather serious and calm in his own way, showing a glimpse of his wasted potential yet again. If only he applied himself, hey? Least that’s a common phrase used when regarding the young lad.

Background:
Born in Cianwood city basking in that quiet atmosphere along the coast. A beachside town that truly doesn’t offer a ton but has plenty to love. Almost perfect for a lad like Joss that could lay on the beach for hours taking in that sun and listening to the cool waters and occasional waves… Even take part in some fishing when the mood struck him. Eventually the quiet and chill breezes of home basking in the sun and looking up at the clouds when not fishing or napping on the beach came to a end when he was invited to join the Johto Academy where he was then placed within the Purity dorm or team.

Though Joss wasn’t always so chill and down to earth just going with the flow in life with no real direction or purpose really. Once, sometimes ago, Joss was a vibrant and passionate young dreamer with a strong desire to become a great Pokémon trainer specializing in the types of Pokémon that surrounded his hometown or could be found there atleast by riding the waves or wandering to more icy tundra and even traveling the different cave paths in the mountain terrain. A desire to become the best trainer and Pokémon cook around while still serving those humans who came with them. However not everything was chill and eventually that flame died out due to circumstances he’s yet to share. And now…. He simply doesn’t know what he could do later in life or what he really wants…. Maybe just a peaceful farm sanctuary for Pokémon or who knows really. From a burning flame to a cool chill in a instant it seems. Only time will tell the rest of his story…..

Laurel stands at about 5”7, with a slightly muscular build. With a splattering of freckles on her face and shoulders, pale hazel eyes and a scar across her nose. Her hair is naturally a dark brown and curly, but she has been experimenting with hair dye, and currently has some green streaks.
Typically Laurel is seen wearing very casual clothes, a green hoodie and cargo shorts which are stuffed to the brim with random supplies for field research. She always wears a pair of fingerless gloves or arm socks that cover up the burn scars on her arms and hands.


Personality:
Abigail Laurel is a surly personality, one who runs on pure spite and coffee. She is a pottymouth, sarcastic and eternally tired. She has little patience for any form of tomfoolery, chicanery or shenanigans. She may seem unapproachable, but if you try you can get passed her surliness and make a friend for life.

Background:
Abigail Laurel, preferring to just go by Laurel, was born to a rich family in Blackthorn city where she was the oldest of seven siblings. Don’t get attached to them, because when Laurel is nine, the family mansion burns to the ground. She tried to save some of her youngest siblings, but only burned her arms and hands in the process. Once she is out of the mansion, Laurel flees down the mountainside in a panic.

She is found in the forests outside of New Bark Town by the illustrious Professor Elm. She is covered in burns and shaking like a leaf. Professor Elm took her to the hospital, where her burns were treated, and it was confirmed that she was the sole survivor of the fire.

Laurel was then adopted by Elm, being gifted a Chikorita by the man as a welcoming gift. She took to his Professoring very well, training under him for a while till she was allowed to go to the academy in Violet. Once there, she took the job of RA and is now in charge of a bunch of students. Oh joy.

Personality: An energetic and curious girl who loves pokemon battle. She's very open about what she thinks about something else and oftenly just blurted her opinions. She acts confidently regardless whether she actually knows what she's doing or not. Her dream is to fight against a pokemon, and win.

Background:
Born and grow in Hulbury as a daughter of a renowned captain and former gym leader. She likes to listen to her father's story from his works traveling all over the world and meeting many people. Her favorite story would probably the time her father wrestled an ursaring so he could save someone from the native island he was in, she knew it's probably exaggerated but he did has a long scar from that supposed encounter. She inherted her father's love for traveling and her mother's love for battle so when the time come she decided to enroll in the academy.

Personality: Elliot first comes off as reserved and careful, a defense mechanism built up by his father’s strict demeanor, but once he’s allowed to relax and be himself Elliot is energetic, optimistic and determined. Elliot is in love with all things Pokémon, and wants a career working with them. He can be a little cagey about some things because he is lying to his father about his studies at the academy, and if anything got back home about what he was actually learning at school he’d be taken away for sure. Elliot is compassionate, and strives to understand both people and Pokémon, and improve the lives of both as they live together. One thing Elliot does hate? His father. Elliot resents his father's harsh demeanor and his unreasonable ban on pokemon. Secretly Elliot blames his father for his mother leaving. One day, Elliot hopes to track down his mother, and ask her what really happened the day she left...

  Elliot grew up in a wealthy family, the son of a renown businessman. The company, Harrow Inc. is the central producer for a lot of important medical equipment for hospitals and pokemon centers alike, and his family's name is fairly well-known. From a very young age he had been groomed to take over his father’s business. His mother was a Pokémon researcher, and when she disappeared mysteriously when Elliot was four years old, his father took it very hard. He banned everything to do with pokémon, even going as far as to get rid of the beloved family pokémon lillipup. The sudden change in his father’s behaviour tore a rift between him and Elliot, for Elliot, like his mother, was fascinated with Pokémon, and loved them dearly.
  
  Try as his father might, he just could not severe the connection his son had to Pokémon.
  
  When Elliot turned 10, he had decided he was going to run away from home, get a starter pokmon from the professor in Veilstone and bein his journey as a pokémon trainer. He was caught. His father burst into the room just after Elliot was presented with a piplup. His father snatched the pokéball out of his son’s hands, shoving it back at the professor with an angry shout.
  
  “My son will never have anything to do with pokémon!”
  
  After that, Elliot became reserved and quiet. He didn’t speak to his father, and barely spoke at school. It was one full year later, when he was on a business trip with his father, walking about to the hotel in the rain, he kicked something he couldn’t see, and it cried out.
  
  The sobble, as it turned out, was lost. Under the slide in a small park, Elliot dried the little creature off and it slowly appeared. He fed it and it ate as if it hadn’t seen food in days.
  
  “Don’t you have a trainer?” Elliot asked it carefully, and to his surprise the sobble started crying. After finally calming it down, Elliot noticed that it was hurt, and something had torn into the fin on its head.
  
  Elliot took it to a pokémon center, but even after being completely healed, the tear remained. Nurse joy explained that it was likely because the sobble had been left untreated for a long time. Elliot made the decision then and there to care for it, and snuck it back into his family’s large home. It wasn’t easy deceiving his father, and Elliot knew he couldn’t keep hiding his pokémon in the house, and he couldn’t even buy a pokéball for it lest it be discovered and thrown away. He needed a new plan. It just so happened that he was about to graduate from his old school, so, Elliot did his research, and carefully doctored the brochures he would give to his father.
  
  By some miracle he managed to get the right signatures and so, Elliot was enrolled in economics at the Johto Academy. It wouldn’t take much to change his program once he was there. Finally, he’d be free, and he could raise his sobble Dewey without the fear of being discovered.

Appearance: Bodie has bright red wavy hair that goes down to her shoulders. Her bangs are short and are neatly trimmed just slightly above the eyebrows. She's pale white just like her father and stands at 4'7" ft and weighs 70 lbs.

Casual wear: She wears a blue t-shirt with a green cardigan that has dragonflies on it. She wears denim short shorts with black leggings underneath. Yellow socks with butterflies on them and black leather shoes. When she isn't wearing her uniform, of course. She has a metal backpack that looks like a spherical shaped robot with two long arms and two short stubby legs. Two of the long arms would wrap around the wearer's arms and serve as backpack straps and the two stubby legs could be used to hold keychains. She had a slowpoke keychain and wurmple keychain. The backpack had a little hatch that opens at the top and she could put her things in it.

Personality: Bodie's a bit of an awkward child. She stutters a lot and has a hard time communicating with others due to her lack of social life. She was a fairly sheltered girl that was homeschooled and didn't meet many people her own age. She overthinks things and doesn't quite understand sarcasm.

Background: She grew up in Sinnoh, near Jubilife Village. Her Father was a weatherman for the television broadcasting station in Jublife City. A good man who taught her the value of education and respect. Her mother had a job in computer science and got her interested in computers. Bodie became more interested in robotics and their capabilities. She enjoyed sitting out on an old tree stump and reading books about robots and sci-fi films. She enjoyed the education her parents gave her, but she wanted more. She eventually convinced her parents to let her travel abroad and learn at an academy. This was going to be a big deal cause not only was she going to receive a more formal education, but she'd also be spending a lot more time with other students like her.

Personality:
Laid back, and a bit...too laid back at times. Alto is what a lot of people might consider a hippy, he speaks rather sluggishly with a lot of "likes" and dragging syllables on for way too long. He's also spaced out for a lot of the time and is usually not too aware of his surroundings, he regularly walks into walls and poles. Although he's quite fearless and allegedly, nobody has ever seen him flinch at anything, no one knows whether he genuinely has nerves of steel or is just too empty-headed to realize that he's supposed to be scared or surprised.

Despite everything, he seems pretty skilled at herbology and being an apothecary, knowing how to identify rare berries and ingredients in the wild even while looking half asleep. He often makes concoctions made from those plants and ingredients he got from his own Pokemon and peddles them around to others, but he doesn't make that great of a salesperson due to his "whatever" attitude and laid-back nature, it's surprising he has a customer base at all, maybe it's because those concoctions actually work...most of the time, sometimes. Effects depend, but it's 100% organic at least.

Background:
Born on an almost uninhabited island to a pair of researchers staying there to study wild pokemon and ecological phenomena, Alto basically grew up amidst other Pokemon rather than humans. He wasn't allowed to wander too far from the research station base, but he often did anyways and ended up learning about the various plants and herbs that wild pokemon use to treat themselves and get stronger. On occasion, he was even offered help by the local wild pokemon - ones that have never interacted with humans and hence were not very hostile, whenever he gets injured in the wild.

Using the things he learned, Alto began to suggest treatments for minor ailments amongst the researchers at the station using locally sourced ingredients, plus showing off the pokemon he had befriended. His parents were quite proud and surprised at what he managed to learn on his own, then finally realized that maybe keeping a kid on an island in the middle of nowhere away from civilization wasn't the best idea. They decided to send him back to their home region of Johto and actually have him attend school to study medicine and pokemon in real society.

When Alto left he took the three pokemon closest to him from the island, an Inkay, a Comfey, and a Foongus, all of which can use their psychic abilities and spores to treat illness. Initially, he had a difficult time adjusting to civilization proper, since the noise, the people, and the classes were pretty overwhelming, but at least Johto and Violet City weren't the most bustling places even after the school opened. Eventually, Alto settled down and got used to the city, and even picked up some a single Johto pokemon while he was around.

Alto's trusty Inkay, now evolved, is an amazing anesthesiologist that utilizes his hypnotic abilities. Although he still has some ways to go before becoming a full-fledged surgeon with psycho cut and night slash, he believes he can one day overcome the prejudice against dark types saving lives.

Always giving off a gentle and calming scent, she's the one-stop shop for gathering sweet-smelling plants perfect for meditation. But she seems to believe that health is the property of the state and must be distributed according to each's need, hence being skilled at draining moves.

Appearance:
Personality: Elizabeth, or G, lives a double life. To the public and her fans, she is G. A gamer girl, top in the region when it comes to MOBA games, top in her DPS role on MMORPG games and has some world records on speed runs. She has a positive personality, always greeting those who recognize her with joy and kindness. Her competitive attitude when it comes to gaming is considered healthy and fun for those who follow her and by most of her opponents. She spreads love and joy on her stream, when she makes appearances in Cosplay conventions or gaming tournaments. Overall, people love her, either for her attitude or her good looks.
Then, there's Elizabeth, or how her mom calls her, Eli. Elizabeth is that one side of G nobody has seen. She hides in her dark, neon light, illuminated room, programming away and doing her homework. She loves being left alone, even keeping her Pokemon out of her room. Whether it's blasting music, playing her favorite games or just watching funny Pokemon videos online, sometimes Elizabeth just needs to disappear from the world and hates her alone time being interrupted.
Background: Elizabeth was born in the busy town of Castelia City. Only daughter to a computer programmer and a flower girl. She grew up playing around with her fathers old computers and video games, while both her parents went to work. Her parents didn't feel comfortable having their kid spend all her free time locked up in her room, so they started signing her up for different after school activities. She first joined ballet, which she was very skilled at, but as soon as she grew bored, she wanted something else. Roller and Ice skating came next, which were great at first, but like every game, once she dominated it, she grew bored. No matter what they tried, Elizabeth always ended up going back to her video games. Fearing she won't have a normal, social life, they sent her to Johto Academy. Once there, she became G, using her gaming skills and good looks to get followers and therefore, money, so she could buy every game she could possibly think off.
She wasn't sent alone though, Vanilla, her Vulpix, was a sent away gift from her father and mother. But, Elizabeth feared her Vulpix would get lonely, so she adopted a Snom to keep her company. During her first year they had a field trip to the famouse, Ice Path. There, as a challenge from some classmates, G captured a Sneasel. She keeps her three Pokemon in her dorm, which is usually at a low temperature to keep her electronics running smoothly and her Pokemon happy, which is why you always see G wearing a sweater or a jacket.

Personality: Carter is relaxed and easy going and its hard to unsettle him. He is generally accepting of all types and doesn’t tend to take things personally. His nature is generally playful and can be overdramatic if it will get a laugh. He talks to his pokemon and makes up what they say in reply, much to the annoyance of some of them. With Ozzy however, he can actually understand this pokemon to a degree. Carter is fascinated with grass-type pokemon and the healing properties of some of their powers. He is working through a degree in pokemon medicine and is a research fellow to a visiting pokemon professor. Carter has been known to help assist with some of the classes surrounding grass-types, and he has a generally supportive attitude towards the younger students.
Carter has a special relationship with Laurel: Active dislike. He goes out of his way to irritate her.

Background: Carter was born into a family of pokemon contest champions, that was where he got his flare for the dramatic. He was a green room kid from before he could walk, exploring back stage and meeting exciting and talented pokemon. Carter showed an affinity for grass types right away, fascinated by their seemingly dual nature, being both plant and pokemon. At age 10 Carter struck out on his pokemon journey with a trapinch that had been rescued from a roadworks dig close to his city. The professor did not know what to do with it until Carter asked to have it as his starter pokemon, instead of one of the beginner pokemon offered.

From there Carter dabbled in a bit of everything, from contests to battles, and as a result is pretty well-rounded. He took an apprenticeship under one Professor Balsam at age 18 and joined the Johto academy one year ago when the professor set up a temporary lab in the nearby town.

Carter and his pokemon take care of the green house complex at the school, a vast series of glass-roofed buildings with various habitats for pokemon, as well as an open-air lab Carter uses to conduct small experiments with the grass-type pokemon that live there.

One particular incident occurred in 5th grade, when he was pressured into bullying the new kid in school: Abigail Laurel. When he realized his friend intended to use a pokemon to torment the girl, Carter jumped in to save it and ended up having his arm broken. Carter never explained the event to Laurel, and they've been reserved enemies ever since.

Carter’s goal is to become a first-rate pokemon researcher and doctor, and to use his skills to develop novel treatments for humans as well.

Underneath his white dress shirt, a bit of a green t-shirt can be seen. Because of his normally low energy, he's always cold. He has a phone his Rotom sometimes possesses, as well as an Orre-manufactured Pokedex called the P★DA, or Pokemon Digital Assistant. It has his official Trainer Card information inside, keeps tracks of his mail, reads the overall health and details of his Pokemon on hand, uses satellite functions to detect Pokemon in the immediate area or in spots he designates, and acts as a Pokedex - this function being called the Strategy Memo. It also keeps track of his banking information and what time it is. The Strategy Memo lacks detailed entries like other Pokedexes, but it can explain how abilities work and has a built-in type chart. Detailed entries and learning what moves are, as well as getting notifications on his social medias and being an alarm clock is what his phone is for.
  Personality: Noah can be a bit of an asshole. He's witty, bright, but due to having been bullied he can't take shit from anyone. He's not the most tolerant person when it comes to someone blaming others, but he's not the most righteous person either, having found that sometimes it's good to be a bit of a bad boy at times. He will follow rules if it means he won't get shit on for it though, later figuring out how to bend them or just not get caught. Still, just because he's a bit more self-serving doesn't mean he's blind to the emotions of others. He picks up on others' emotional states a little too easily, and he doesn't really know how to deal with others. He wishes the yellow jacket and purple tie weren't so bright.

  Background: Noah was born in Phenac City, Orre. The city was only bustling because of its trainer school, its pre-gym, and the stadium. Therefore education and battling were extremely important to the people of Phenac City. His own father had a ranking in Mt. Battle nearby, and his mother was aided in teaching people about Pokemon. Noah, while young, attended the trainer school and got his first Pokemon - a Kantonian Vulpix. That fox might as well be his comfort Pokemon, as it has been with him since he was eight. He protected him when he needed it, and been there to calm him tears and make him happy.
  
  Being bullied was a common occurrence for Noah, whether it was in the school or pre-gym. Battling wasn't really his forte. While he didn't hold a disdain for it, he did start holding resentment for those who thought it was the be all end all. In fact, he found the spark of something he enjoyed when he was given P★DA, a device he uses religiously next to his phone. Battling statistics, types, and such didn't really stick in his mind. It was either math or computer science for him. He even built his very first computer from parts he had his parents buy when he was twelve (while also having salvaged some decent parts from the family computer, of which his parents were too happy with). While he liked hardware, he preferred software. The games, the programs, the code - oh, the code. HTML, Java, C++, Linux, Python, they were all so cool and he wanted to launch his own web page. While kids were more focused on the Pokemon themselves, Noah found his love for the device he was given and how the pre-gym system worked. That's when he was gifted a Porygon by Justy, the teacher and owner of the pre-gym. Unlike the other kids, who saw him as weird, Justy wanted him to follow his love for computers and have it stem to Pokemon. But in order for that to happen, Justy wanted Noah to go to another school - one that would teach him what he needed to as his school and pre-gym weren't suited for such a thing.
  
  Noah's family agreed to send Noah to the Johto Academy, so they moved to Goldenrod City when he was thirteen, used to having a city with some water and a gym. It was rather bustling, but Noah didn't really care. He was busy with his computer and its programs. He was soon given a phone and a Rotom to possess it - but it wasn't the usual Rotom that were born and raised to be phone assistants. This was a wild one that was caught and trained to be used as a regular Pokemon, as well. The school he went to in Goldenrod had a field trip to Kalos to see how they made their PokeBalls in their PokeBall Factory, and then a trip down to Ambrette Town to check out fossils. Noah was interested in the machine and the program itself that revived fossils, but wasn't able to get too close to the device. His attempts to figure out the programs by sneaking into the facility late at night had him being chased by police into Route 9. There, among the rocks, he hid until the officer lost interest and went back home. That's when he realized a Pokemon was staring at him. Afraid it was going to hurt him, Noah tried offering berries he found in his field trip to give to the Helioptile, who took it graciously.
  
  Not wanting to get stuck in Route 9 as he was hearing dangerous Pokemon lurk about, he went to call his friend, but his phone was already dead as he forgot to charge it. Plus, his friend wouldn't wake up to an email because his notifications weren't on for it. That was when the Helioptile grabbed his phone and charged it after witnessing the poor guy get distressed enough to cry. Thankful that the Helioptile did that for him, he was able to call his friend and get escorted out and back to the hotel.
  
  Unaware, Noah traveled back to Johto, and in his backpack was the Helioptile who helped him on that route. Thankful a friend came along, Noah made him his Pokemon. When he was sixteen, he was set to go to the new Johto Academy. He's been there for a year, well on his way to understanding more about computers, its programs, and how Pokemon like Rotom and Porygon can help.

  Special Features: He has five tails instead of six (might as well be called a Vulpive), and due to his ability his body absorbs and exudes heat more than average. He's also extremely fluffy.
  Nature/Personality: Calm | Due to Leafeon's personality being hereditary, Tails is far calmer and likes to sleep in the sun's rays. He is rather curious and is somewhat stubborn, his nosy demeanor usually bringing Noah along and possibly getting him into trouble. Tails is an extreme empath and feels compelled to help those who are suffering emotionally by being there as a cuddly comfort.
  Ability: Flash Fire - Has the ability to absorb Fire-Type attacks (and Will-O-Wisp), increasing the power of his own Fire-Type moves. Because they have this aura of warmth, Fire-Types are attracted to them. However, actual fire may hurt this Pokemon.

  • Incinerate - Fire | Special | Breathing in sharply to ready this attack, he breathes out a small stream of fire or multiple small streams of fire when against two or more adjacent opponents, which are hot enough to burn a berry's juices and destroy the inner power of Gems to ruin their effects. Cannot destroy items when they're affected by Sticky Hold, Symbiosis won't activate when an item is destroyed, and can't be recovered with Recycle, Pickup, or Harvest. Fails in a Max Raid Battle.
  • Baby-Doll Eyes - Fairy | Status | Being born with this move (Father Leafeon), he adoringly looks at the target with wide, big-pupiled, misty-eyed look, making the target feel bad for attacking them and lower their Attack. It can be quickly done, so it has a higher priority (+1).
  • Hypnosis - Psychic | Status | Being born with this move (Mother Ninetales, Grandfather Musharna), he sends delta brain waves to lull people and Pokemon to sleep or in a trance.
  • Energy Ball - Grass | Special | Channeling the power from nature (made easier with Leafeon as his father), he fires a sphere of grass energy at the opponent. The attack may lower the target's Special Defense. It cannot affect targets with Bulletproof.

  Special Features: It has a rather clean matte body, Noah having taken great care in making sure Poly is clean. Other than that, he's the average Porygon in height and weight.
  Nature/Personality: Quiet | Poly prefers to not make too much sound, as he was trained to be stealthy and destroy viruses and fix firewalls in computer systems and servers without the hacker knowing. He likes to do his own thing, likes to fight, and can be a bit of a troublemaker - downloading joke virus software on Noah's computer and seeing him freak out before fixing it. The 'ghost' in his programming - from emotion - has been exploited to have the Porygon download a language program. He now can speak, but it's in a robotic voice.
  Ability: Download - With the information given of the Pokemon itself, the changes to its defensive stats, and the effect of Power Trick, it downloads a buff, allowing it to hit harder on the Pokemon's weakened defensive ability (raising Attack if the target has a lower Defense, raising Special Attack if the target has a lower Special Defense). It doesn't consider held items, Abilities, or Wonder Room. If there is a tie, it increases Special Attack. If there is more than one opponent, it will take an average of their defensive stats.

  • Shadow Ball - Ghost | Special | Channeling the power of emotion from a 'ghost' in his programming, he fires a blob of shadowy, emotional energy at the opponent. The attack may lower the target's Special Defense. It cannot affect targets with Bulletproof.

  Special Features: Just a regular ol' Rotom. Except the fact that she's 0'08" (20.3 cm) and weighs a bit less, being 0.5 lbs (0.2 kg).
  Nature/Personality: Timid | Siri was caught out in the wild and trained to be not only a phone assistant, but a battler, as well. While she prefers not fighting as she's terrified of doing so, she is much more afraid of the unknown and she prefers to be possessing his phone or hiding in his clothes to make sure she's not missing on anything. She loves to eat and can be a bit silly. She can talk to humans from having learned how to from possessing a phone.
  Ability: Levitate - Renders this Pokemon immune to damaging Ground-type moves (except Thousand Arrows), and unaffected by Arena Trap, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Rototiller, and Terrain. Can enter a Sky Battle. Will become grounded if it's affected by Gravity, been hit with Smack Down or Thousand Arrows, under the effect of Ingrain, or is holding an Iron Ball.

  • Confuse Ray - Ghost | Status | Creating sinister rays of confusing pulsating light, Siri uses these flying orbs to confuse the target.

  Special Features: He is a bit bigger and weighs more than the average, being 2'00" (61 cm) and weighs 16 lbs (7.3 kg).
  Nature/Personality: Naive | A bit childish, Zapper is a sweetheart and wants to help those who are hurting. Of course, instead of giving emotional support, Zapper prefers to help via doing other actions. If someone got hurt, instead of comforting them with a cuddle like Tails, he tries to beat up whoever hurt the person. But because he's childish, he can be a bit gullible. He's pretty curious and loves running around.
  Ability: Sand Veil - During a sandstorm, this Pokemon can easily hide, making it a harder target to hit. Its skin is also far more resistant to the bludgeoning sand, immune to its damage. If it is outside, he can help aid its trainer on avoiding Pokemon while in a sandstorm.

  • Mud-Slap - Ground | Special | Charging a hand with earthen energy, Zapper hits the ground to convert it into mud to be slapped at the target's face, causing a drop in accuracy.
  • Charge - Electric | Status | Zapper charges up in electricity, boosting his Special Defense and the Charge's effect of doubling damage will be used on the next Electric-Type used.
  • Parabolic Charge - Electric | Special | Zapper sends a pulsating wave of energy at all targets within range (including allies) and restores stamina equal to half of the damage dealt. Becomes unable to be used if Heal Block is affecting him, takes damage when absorbing energy from a target with Liquid Ooze, and restores more stamina if holding a Big Root.
  • Sandstorm - Rock | Status | Zapper materializes sand around him and whips up a sandstorm. It lasts for five of my posts. It doesn't affect Steel-, Rock-, or Ground-Types with gradual damage, or those with sandstorm-related abilities (Sand Veil, Sand Rush, Sand Force). Moonlight, Synthesis, and Morning Sun restores 1/4 of the user's max stamina, while Shore Up restores 2/3 of the user's health. Weather Ball becomes Rock-Type. Rock-Type Pokemon will have their Special Defense raised by 50% for the duration.

  Personality: Davy is a sweetheart. Extremely empathic, he dotes and cares for those who are in need of it - whether they be Pokemon or people. He's wonderful at reading body language and reading the room. While he's not absolutely clueless on everything, his mind tends to be slow on arithmetic and other things that don't have anything to do with learning by hand. He's a bit gullible and tends to miss sarcasm and tone often. He tends to take things literally. Humble, he likes to joke around, usually being quite punny, even though Davy doesn't realize half the time.

  Background: Born in Almia, Pokemon Rangers and being one with nature and its Pokemon was something Davy grew up in. His parents owned farmland in Chicole Village, and Davy wanted to be a farmer and rancher. He didn't really care about being a Pokemon Ranger, even though he did eventually try when he was fourteen to maybe follow in his mother's footsteps. To say he didn't pass would be an understatement. While he was excellent at understanding Pokemon, the Capture Styler was something he wasn't accustomed to and he usually forewent rules about handling Pokemon without a Ranger there. It wasn't because he was rebellious, it was because he saw one of them needed help and forgot the rule existed.
  
  After going to Johto on a visit to see the Run of the Tauros, it was settled that he needed one. He soon began having a fixation on bulls and cows in general. Knowing he fascination with them, they saved money and bought adjacent land near Palmpona, allowing them to move to Johto to have their ranch. As they began taking care of Tauros of many different breeds (Paldean ones included), they also set up a Daycare to take care of other people's Pokemon. While the idea was his father's, Davy realized just how cool it was to not only help the Pokemon, but the people who had them. Wanting his help to extend past his actual actions, he wanted to be a Breeder and began taking mental notes on each Pokemon who came in. Eventually, he was given a Pokedex to help with this.
  
  Four of the Tauros they sent to Palmpona to compete are in his team, along with one of the ranch's Miltanks and Bouffalant. He became close with these six, and eventually they adopted him as their trainer. Wanting to further his education, Davy sent in an admission to the Johto Academy when he was twenty-one. Before he was set up to go, he was given an egg to take care of. The Pokemon's trainer had abandoned it, and he felt so bad for the poor unhatched thing that he cried for it. Not having the heart to tell the little guy once she hatched why she didn't have a Marill or an Azumarill as a parent, he decided to be the little Azurill's papa and he took care of it as if it were his own. While it wasn't a bull, the little Azurill quickly had a place in his heart. He didn't want to train it, as he was terrified she would get hurt and he didn't think his heart could take it. Even though he has a full team of capable Pokemon, he still keeps Azurill around, unwilling to part with any of his Pokemon as his Azurill is more of an accessory or a pet.

  Special Features: This Tauros is a bit smaller than average (4'04", 132.1 cm), but it weighs about the same from his massively lean and bulky muscles. He's the fastest out of the four Tauros with Davy, and he has a few scars from when he's fought other Tauros.
  Nature/Personality: Jolly | While this Tauros loves to fight, he loves running even more. Despite how small he was, he allowed Davy to ride on his back and he ran around the entire perimeter of the ranch, even managing to beat the Rapidash they had. This Tauros may have a serious face on all the time, but he's generally quite a happy little sweetheart. He might not be the fastest Tauros Palmpona has seen, he's placed second and third numerous times while in Run of the Tauros.
  Ability: Sheer Force - Raises the power of Physical moves, but ignores any additional effects.

  • Raging Bull - Normal | Physical | Tackles like a raging bull, and breaks barriers like Light Screen, Reflect, and Aurora Veil on the target's side of the field before doing damage.

  • Thief - Dark | Physical | Attacks the target with dark glowing horns and tries to swipe the item with its horn or with its tail.
  • Iron Head - Steel | Physical | Head shines metallic as it charges and slams into the opponent, having a chance to Flinch. Well, it would if it didn't have Sheer Force.

  Gender: Male
  Special Features: This Tauros is average height and weight, being placed as a champion for one year of the Tauros fights for the festivals of Palmpona. Due to this, he has a lot of scars on his body.
  Nature/Personality: Adamant | Stubborn, this Tauros doesn't know when to go down and stay down. Surprisingly agile for being a fighter, he likes to bash into his opponents and then tail whip their behinds to anger them. However, when severely damaged by a good hit, he gets worried and it angers him, hence his ability. While this Tauros was being a general menace in the fields, Davy managed to calm him down by swinging on his back and riding him out, getting all of his energy out while somehow staying on for a minute. He's respected him ever since.
  Ability: Anger Point - When hit by a Critical Hit, becomes so angry that its Attack raises to the max.
  Moves:
  
  • Raging Bull - Fighting | Physical | Tackles like a raging bull, and breaks barriers like Light Screen, Reflect, and Aurora Veil on the target's side of the field before doing damage.
  • Assurance - Dark | Physical | Cloaked in dark aura, it attacks the target and deals double damage if the target has already received damage in a small few-second window. This includes self-inflicted and indirect damage, like from Life Orb, recoil, crash damage, or hurting itself in confusion.
  • Wild Charge - Electric | Physical | Cloaked in lightning, it charges and slams into the opponent, the lightning and the damage dealt causing recoil damage on the user.
  • Rock Slide - Rock | Physical | Either causes rocks from above to fall while in a cave, sends itself higher on a podium to send rocks tumbling down a hill it stands on, or materializes them from above to land on the opponent, having a chance to flinch. It can target all adjacent foes.

  Special Features: Apollo has a lot of scars on his body from fights in the ranch, but he's actually used in the Run of the Tauros. He's average height and weight.
  Nature/Personality: Lonely | Despite being used in some of the races, he prefers not to run nor fight, preferring to be alone and getting irritated when others draw near. He has the most subtle displays of irritation before he goes from 5-100, which was great practice for Davy as Davy used him as a sort of guide and teacher, which earned this Tauros's respect.
  Ability: Intimidate - Intimidates the opponent into lowering their Attack, and doesn't affect those with Clear Body, Hyper Cutter, White Smoke, Oblivious, Own Tempo, Inner Focus, Scrappy, or if it's behind a Substitute. Can scare weaker Pokemon from attacking them in the wild.

  • Flame Charge - Fire | Physical | Cloaks itself in fire and raises its speed as it charges the target.
  • Double Kick - Fighting | Physical | Slams its hooves into the target twice.

  Special Features: This Tauros prefers having his mane being brushed, his tail almost always looking like a propeller fan. He's average height and weight, and has more lean muscle than bulk despite having a propensity of building more bulky muscle. He also has scars on his body from fights.
  Nature/Personality: Brave | This Tauros in comparison to the others is a bit more docile. But he also has a righteous streak about him, occasionally protecting Davy from other mean Tauros from getting hurt. By far, Blue is Davy's favorite Tauros for this reason. He's placed champion twice in the Tauros fights.

  Special Features: This Bouffalant has a smaller afro, but is average height and weight. He has a few scars on his body from fighting Tauros, mistaking himself as one. His afro is smaller due to his hair being used to make afro wigs to sell or turning the hair into yarn to make mittens out of it, which Davy has a pair of Diana's mittens.
  Nature/Personality: Careful | Diana is a general sweetheart, usually quite careful in how she approaches other Tauros as they tend to see her an alien. However, once she got comfortable with a few, she began to play by headbutting them, which angered them and there would be a fight. While she's not a Tauros and can't compete in the showings, Davy has helped her feel included by having fighting and racing competitions with the other Tauros in the ranch.
  Ability: Sap Sipper - When hit by a Grass-Type move, her body absorbs it and it gives her more physical strength, raising her Attack. Aromatherapy doesn't activate Sap Sipper.

  Special Features: While sporting a few scars from the Tauros in the ranch, she's got extremely durable, elastic skin. She's of average height and weight.
  Nature/Personality: Impish | Bessy is a bit mischievous when left alone or when with other Tauros. She likes to get the other Tauros angry and start a rampage, or fight amongst each other. However, she is still a sweetheart at her core and she won't hesitate to help others. She was one of the Miltank Davy took care of and she is his favorite Miltank, as she liked playing with him and even stopped a few Tauros from attacking him from her own behavior. However, she is also quite protective of Davy, and she's able to pick up on sarcasm and lies far better than Davy can due to her own demeanor.
  Ability: Scrappy - Can hit Ghost-Types with Normal- and Fighting-Type moves, and is immune to the effects of Intimidate.

  Special Features: Still being rather new to the world, Azurill is 4 inches (10.2 cm) and weighs 2.2 lbs (1 kg). She is also of a lighter blue.
  Nature/Personality: Naughty | While this baby is rather new to the world and is still scared of minor things, she's not as bad as other Baby Pokemon. In fact, when she's unsure of something, she usually just pranks them in order to see how they are as people. However, this has caused Davy a headache on numerous occasions, scaring him by disappearing and then causing trouble, only to cry and let Davy handle the situation and the mess she made, and then gets disappointed when he doesn't get upset at the person when they tell their story. Though, she does love Davy like a father, as he was the first thing she saw when she hatched.
  Ability: Huge Power - Doubles her Attack, and still doubles she when she uses Foul Play or Body Press (as it is a modifier, not a stage change, so she uses the opponent's Attack and that is doubled by Huge Power).

He is terribly at studying, so he often goes to tutor groups or hires one to help him study for some big test.
Background: Connor was born to a single mother. They were big fans of sports events, always watching them together when his mother got home from work. Due to money issues, he wasn't able to join the local sport teams, only playing on the streets with his neighbors or at school. He feared he would never reach his full potential, unable to play with other teams. Lucky for him, his mother married a wealthy man, who agreed to pay for Connor's education. He now resides in Johto Academy, being his third year in the school and his second year being captain of the swim and Pokeathlon team.

Background:
In Eva’s childhood, her father often described her as the Sun. This was chiefly due to her seemingly endless supply of energy, which could only be compared to a star in full force; whenever there were ears to listen, words would steam from her mouth like captives given an opening to escape—which wasn’t too far from the truth. The other children couldn’t get enough of her at first, but as the years passed and they all grew older, their feelings began to gradually transform into annoyance. Isolation began to sink in, and Eva too began to cool; soon, she seemed not so much the radiant Sun as a lonely, drifting asteroid.

One day, Eva and her father were watching a small band perform on the street. As most music is in Nimbasa, the performance was excellent, and Eva was captivated by how the musicians seemed to become one with each other, and with their song. Her father must have noticed a change in her gloomy demeanor, because the next day he presented her with a new set of drums. No, not new—there were scratches on the paint and on the membranes, enough to convince Eva that this instrument was once used quite a lot. When she asked her father where he got it, he replied simply that it was once her mother’s. This was one of the only things that she had ever heard about her mother, who had been mysteriously absent both in person and in lore for as long as Eva could remember. It was also a last gift for her to bring to Johto, where she was soon to attend school. She brushed her fingers along the steel rims with a new reverence, and vowed that she would master the art of drumming.

Fast forward five years, and Eva has just become a Senior at the Johto Academy. She’d dedicated most of her time to perfecting her craft, and had become quite good, though she still played alone and had never performed. On the other hand, her single-faceted focus meant she wasn’t the greatest student, and was barely squeaking by in most of her classes. Nevertheless, she was feeling much better than she was in her later days in Unova. The change of scenery, both physically and socially, was just what she needed to spark a new candle-flame in her soul. It never burned quite so bright, however, as when she was in her dorm room, headphones on, palms sweating, pounding out the beat of a song.

Appearance: Vennin tends to wear outfits that combine different styles and form something entirely new and unique. Comfort meets style and practicality in his mind and intended/preferred fashion style. While he stands roughly 5’9 with a thin, athletic build and light brown eyes and thin charcoal grey eyebrows and somewhat messy styled charcoal grey hair. Often wears gloves and various sneakers and boots to best match his fit and mood or fit and intended terrain/tasks for that day.

Personality: Rather flamboyant and graceful with a touch of playful seriousness…. Least when he’s putting on airs and acting, usually when partaking in dreaded contests. The things he would do for his Pokémon…. *sighs* Normally he’s a caring and rather stoic young man with a true serious nature when it comes to his goals or when his determination kicks in during necessary but non goal related times. He’s completely goal driven in life for his desires future career path and destination yet knows he’s absolutely nothing without his beloved Pokémon and would be a certain mess without them, especially his very diva like and ultimate partner in crime, Umbreon. He’s also very much a night owl and doesn’t care much for the constant need to wake in the wee hours of the morning and go about such routine schedules but alas he does and puts up with such requirements if only for his dream role as a future gym leader and the new demands of today’s trainer….

He absolutely loves travel and art…. Well, kinda, pends on the art and if it’s more fun rather then a uppity show full of know it all types bragging about art they didn’t personally make themselves. Moving on though, he’s a kind young guy that tends to give off different vibes pending the person. Some see Vennin as a question of whether or not they are a guy or gal. Questions of his age as well. Others might wonder if he’s up to no good because of his choice in Pokémon. While the plain sort just question his strength and consider him weak. Either way the cookie crumbles, he’s often misunderstood and thus his ultimate soft spot and nature towards such Pokémon derives…. He understands them and even other outcast humans, though, Pokémon mostly.
Background:
Born to Ella Von Vusso of Lumoise City in Kalos, a eccentric, free spirited artist with a rather pretentious name addition to her maiden name with ‘Von’ yet was far from it. Even if she could pose and put on such facades to impress and interact with the rich socialites and more prestigious of crowds when going to parties, charities or hosting them herself while putting on entire galleries at other times. Vennin truly hasn’t a clue of the identity and ancestral origins from his fathers as that was always answered with “Darrrling… That’s old news you needn’t worry your pretty little head about, it’s a thing of the past, Darrrling.” Thus his annoyance with the drawn out r’s in darling whenever she spoke the word and adds to the annoyance with the pretentious nature of the second V in his full name, leading to his usage of it only when necessary and/or putting on his me of his many acts for various occasions where he feels like it or needs to do so. Plus other moments of using it boastfully but claiming the third v is for victory and ignoring the Von part altogether. Such as he’s done in the past at various times especially in contests and battles where he might be using it in sync with his acting performance or banter aimed and filled intro pending the situation.

So, while he doesn’t know his father even a name atleast. Vennin Von Vusso of Lumoise city has truly inherited quite a bit of his mother’s traits and skills such as acting for a start…. Though partly due to her demand and insistence on acting classes during his childhood before Pokémon training entered the scene in his life. Though acting and performance was a natural trait or skill for him classes aside. But while he also inherited a artistic love and some ability from his mother, it was Pokémon and his love for them that truly shined brightest for one such youthful to be trainer. Growing up with his mothers Smeargle and watching them side by side was truly inspiring.

Thus it was clear to him, one day, he would become a trainer in his own right and be the best in his field while never losing sight of the artistic nature that inspired and raised him via his mother. Starting with a young Evee that immediately seemed to take to the young trainer as the pair seemed destined to team together and create mischief for those socialites and others around Lumoise. It was the travels though where they truly came into their own as a team. Eventually coming across and battling them catching a young gulpin then a Seviper before encountering a Shroodle. Yes, plenty of travels and Pokémon encounters over the years with a few additions to the team all the while attending academy back in Johto between trips. Working on his craft, caring for his Pokémon and becoming as solid and skillful a trainer he could be while retaining his love and caring nature for Pokémon of all kinds, especially the less popular and misunderstood mons of the world.

Personality: And now comes and begins the tale of Breè, where to begin? A novel in her own right truly. A loving, caring and protective sister to her Pokémon family while also to Vennin despite all the handful she can be, the bond is stronger then ever and a love deeper then words could describe. But she’s a diva. Always seeking attention, desiring contests against her trainer/partners dislike of them and will. She loves the spotlight and showcasing her performance as much as possible not to mention having things her way. Though when it comes down to it, all her mischievous and spotlight seeking qualities can turn to a serious and business like manner when needed or her protective nature is drawn into action. Vennin’s first Pokémon dating back to her days as a young Evee and longest tenured most rich of story so far partner in crime for Vennin. She’s a perfect match really able to adapt so well and match the situation her and Vennin find themselves in. But still a major handful and diva in her own right.

The easiest to keep out of trouble besides Seviper, though Swalot’s motivation to do things can be a roller coaster ride in itself. But ultimately a valued, beloved partner and family member.

Maybe order and structure is a bit much, but as close to as possible in keeping the peace. Honestly without her, Vennin would be a stressed out and tired mess dealing with this beloved yet handful of a team.

Personality: The resident prankster artist of the team. Griff used to be rather territorial and a loner that caused plenty of trouble with his pranks and antics. Vennin had his share of troubles with Griff over the years but patience, time and love eventually broke through the shell helped bring out the Grafaiai you see and will meet today. He’d hardly leave his teams side less it was for good reason and prankster antics influenced or artistic in nature otherwise he’s often found hanging with his mates and found family.

Breé’s influence has also been a positive and slightly negative pending your view to this Toxel and it’s growing confidence.

  Personality: That's complicated. He comes off as sort of a brash dick, but spend a few minutes with him around his partners and you realize he's mostly just faking it. He likes to think he's a hard ass but then you catch him punching some bully in the face for picking on a smaller kid, or making specially shaped treats for his pokemon, or singing and playing music for them and you realize he's a very bad liar. Taking most things in stride, Landon doesn't let too many things faze him. Always quick with a quip or a smart ass comment, though his favorite thing in the world might just be making awful puns.
  
  Background: He doesn't like to talk too much about his past. But what people can figure out after a while is that Landon was born in the Hoenn region, just in time for the Aqua/Magma feud to hit its fever pitch around when he was 18. His early life before that though wasn't anything too special. Born poor, he got into trouble quite often. Living with his father who had quite the suspiciously quiet-kept job that even he knew nothing about, the majority of his time was spent at home alone with no adults or even older siblings to watch out for him. By the time he was 10, he'd already started to get involved with the wrong kinds of people, and ended up embroiled in the kinds of groups and organizations that people don't look kindly on you for joining. His life was filled with minor crimes, petty theft mostly. All to feed himself. He acquired his first partner not long after his 12th birthday, and they've been together ever since, protecting one another from whatever bad luck might throw at them. From starvation to frigid cold, attacks by gang members and being run off by authorities, they've grown as close as a pokemon and trainer can get. What he won't tell many people is that he was more involved than he lets on with the criminal elements of Hoenn, and more deeply connected than would be enjoyable. But, a year and a half ago, he managed to free himself from his old life and escape here, after the absolute mess the rival Teams left in their wake after being taken down some time ago. Having spent his first full year in the academy studying, he was secretly quite excited for his second to begin, though most wouldn't be able to tell with his lackadaisical attitude towards tests and structured classes. Though he still somehow, by the grace of the heavens, managed to pass without cheating. Must have been born under a lucky star or something. Though he may carry himself like a slouch and sloth, he tries to keep his ears and eyes open for anything thanks to spending most of his life with one eye open just to not get robbed while he slept. But none of that has ever managed to put a damper on his absolute, absurdly resilient and inconquerable need to be a smartass in the face of whatever danger might be ahead of him.
  
  Mundane Skills: An exceptional swimmer and sailor, these are skills he picked up from a young age being around boats for quite a significant portion of his life. Along his path and through the years, Landon has acquired a number of usually useless but sometimes entertaining array of skills like playing musical instruments, being fairly decent at cooking, and just skilled enough with his hands to cheat at poker quite effectively. Though perhaps his most potent ability is being able to give precisely 0 fucks about a situation if he has to. Facing down death? Oh well, shit happens. Starts raining without an umbrella around? Eh, water was his whole life anyway. Can't afford to eat for the 4th day in a row? Well, that market stall owner looks easy to distract. His....mildly illegal antics lead to a life where certain skills were necessary to escape. Blending in, subtlety, and a touch of parkour and lots of cardio.

  Nox was Landon's starter and is quite attached. The cuddle bug is very adorable and acts like an older brother for Landon's other partners and as though his trainer were actually his dad, and prefers to wrap himself around Landon as often as possible when they're relaxing. Being able to speak has made communication easier, though it has also lead to some...interesting interactions. Nox has taken quite a shine to daytime television, especially shows like Doctor Phil, and as such tries to act like Landon's therapist and conscience on occasion, especially when he inevitably goes off to do something stupid.   One of Landon's most stalwart companions, Apollo is a bit timid and shy for someone so dangerous, having once thrown a punch so hard he threw a dragon through the wall of a gym. Despite this, he is incredibly apologetic and kind hearted, always feeing absolutely awful for hurting anyone in a fight too badly unless they deserved it for one reason or another.

  Garm is... a bit of a hot head. Though, he's cooled off significantly after being humbled by a lady he was interested in, in front of the entire squad he belonged to. This hasn't chased away his vigor for battle though, and is always excited to test himself against strong opponents. Loyal, if a bit of a loner sometimes, he has come around to be more of a member of the family recently despite his earlier reservations about the group dynamic.

Pretending to be grumpy and mean, but secretly enjoys the cuddle piles even if he'd die before admitting it.

Now, nothing excites the birb more than a prolonged flight, except maybe aerial battles. Loving and loyal almost to a fault, Ra is a steadfast companion that has saved his trainer's ass on more than one occasion.

A shirt with a pokeball on it, a vest to cover that, a backpack, some sneakers, and shorts that go just below the knees.

Personality: He longs for adventure so he can often be found reading/ writing/ getting involved with something that takes his mind to somewhere else. He might not see the whole picture and may be a little too trusting when it comes to others, but that’s just him trying to see the best in people. He is also not stupid merely naïve at times. He will end up showing his emotions at times, but is also a really good listener. Others have often gone to confide in him because when others talk, they get the feeling that he is actually listening to what they’re saying. He likes to give his Pokémon accessories as a sign of respect and affection.

Background: Orion grew up as the youngest of four with each of his siblings having already started their journey. They were around and visited often but he felt very distant from his siblings which also made him feel alone when around his family. When he was 6, he wished that he could understand others better in hopes that he’d be able to relate to his siblings better. Somehow the wish came true but not in the way he expected. He started to pick up on different emotions of others but he could only tell what Pokemon were feeling. As time went on, he began to feel afraid as their emotions would sometimes override his own and he would say and do things that made no sense. A few years passed and Abram teleported into his room one day. He was scared at first yet the Abra was calm. He was able to teach Orion how to control his power which has over the years developed to the point that he can now understand the intent of a Pokemon even though he doesn’t know what they’re saying. However, if he gets too stressed or if a Pokemon’s emotion is too strong he can still be overwhelmed.

Interesting powers, telepaths do exist in the Pokemon world, or more so psychics so this is pretty possible, as long as that power isn't abuses to give your oc an advantage in things, like knowing when an opponent Pokemon is gonna attack, it's fine by me!

Btw, a 12 year old can't have a pseudo legendary in it's mid or final form. Too early. Pokemon grow a lot slower, so you would need to change it to Dreepy

Would Garchomp fall under that?

Yes, Garchomp does fall under this. There was a character who is 20 and has had a few years under his belt, and he still had to have a Gabite instead of a Garchomp. But in your character's case, it would be a Gible.

If you want your character to have a pseudo-legendary, your 12-year-old character must have the base form of that pseudo-legendary (Dratini, Larvitar, Beldum, Bagon, Gible, Deino, Goomy, Jangmo-o, Dreepy, Frigibax)

Career Path: Regional Champion. While his initial goal is to become a Gym Leader, he will tirelessly push further until he reaches his limit.

Basic Description: Kasey has a severe case-y of “anime-protagonist hair” with the natural color of his messy cut being a lavender hue. His eyes are a greyish blue, nicely accentuated by the red scrapes and white bandages usually covering his face. Kasey stands tall at 6'1” and weighs roughly 180 pounds, most of which is trained muscle. Notable features are his pierced lip and triple-pierced ear. He has a penchant for “sporty” or loose-fitting clothes in either black, white, or neutral colors.

Personality: Too much. Kasey is a high-octane, self-proclaimed “tough guy” dumbass living for the thrill of battle and ready to cause some (unintentional) chaos. He is the kind of guy with not one but two devils on his shoulders pushing him on. And then turn towards his devils and suggests his even worse plan. If one can tolerate this, he is loyal to the very end. Outgoing and energetic, he is a positive addition to any group of people, but you can be sure his mere presence will lower the average intelligence.

Background
Kasey hails from Saffron City, Kanto, but has rarely seen any of it. He grew up within the walls of the Saffron City Fighting Dojo. Raised by his upper management mother and Black Belt father to be their successor, Kasey never enrolled in Trainer School. No, the martial arts protegee fluked his way into becoming a registered Trainer on account of the exam. It included enough Fighting-Type-related questions to make up for his lacking knowledge of most other Types. His accreditation came with a complimentary PokeDex and a healthy eagerness to travel. But, his departure into the world had to be postponed for family reasons. That and the Dojo, namely his mother, had no Pokemon to spare for him. If only he had been able to head out at that time. Things might have been different.

It never damped his spirit, though. If anything, Kasey became keener on becoming a worthy successor for the Dojo. In time, an opportunity presented itself. A trainer arrived at the Dojo hoping to get rid of their Slakoth. Promising it would be a worthy addition after evolving. There was no place at the Dojo for a Normal-Type, but his mother saw an opportunity to teach her son a lesson. She accepted the Pokemon and passed it on to her son. Believing it would be too weak to serve as a starter. However, it was enough for Kasey to brave the tall grass. A combination of blind self-confidence and lack of pathfinding eventually led him to the Johto Region. While firmly believing to be on the road for the Indigo League Challenge, he instead found himself at the doorstep of the Johto Academy. Deciding then and there that he would enroll.

Moves: Feint Attack, Icy Wind, Scratch, Slack Off
Ability: Truant
A hand-me-down partner ditched by a trainer that didn't see any potential. Kasey has been working hard the last year to lift up the sloth's self-esteem and energy levels, but the results are far from noteworthy. However, it seems Slakoth recognizes the effort Kasey has been putting in because the Pokemon heavily opposes the notion of anything harming befalling his trainer.

Snover | The Frost Tree Pokemon
Nickname: N/A
Moves: Grass Whistle, Icy Wind, Powder Snow, Razor Leaf
Ability: Snow Warning
A fairly reserved, but friendly Pokemon who he met near the base of Mt. Silver. This Snover did not feel confident in Kasey's ability to brave the harsh terrain and felt obligated to tag along for his safety. After overcoming the mountain together, Snover decided to stay at his side. No matter the hardship, Snover never seems to doubt her decision to take after her careless trainer.
