Johnathan Mormon

Johnathan Mormon]Hi. Im a new Member of this site. And i have no Idea how to use it. Any pointers?
Hey John and welcome to RPdom. RPdom is an online forum for discussing roleplay and playing roleplaying games hosted by other members on the site. When it comes to roleplaying on the site there are three methods: [URL="http://www.rpdom.com/#roleplay-list.5731 said:
forum roleplays (which is our largest section and is for larger roleplaying games and projects that have to be approved by the Staff and contain multiple threads), thread roleplays which are simpler traditional games played within one thread and we have chat roleplays which aren't played on the site but are advertised in their designated are.

If you are looking to join a game - Looking for Players is an easy place to go. As the storytellers (game masters) of new game and games recruiting for new players post there.

If you have any specific questions about the site, the Staff and other members would be glad to answer within this thread.
Alright i keep seeing all these abreviations so far. And im clueless as to what they mean, so what do they mean?
Abbreviations, or prefixes to threads?

If you give me an example I should be able to explain.

Oh, of course.

An ST is the Story Teller; the individual in charge of writing and running the game. GM is similar one - it means Game Master, and DM stands for Dungeon Master - you usually only hear that when playing Dungeons and Dragons.

We tend to abbreviate longer game names here too; D&D - Dungeons and Dragons, WoD - World of Darkness, TES - The Elder Scrolls, GURPS - Generic Universal Roleplaying System, WFRP - Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. Those are a few of the exhaustive abbreviations for games.

Have you done much roleplaying before?

Sorry about the short hand. Had been heading to bed after a raid in World of Warcraft (WoW) when I saw you had joined up here. I wanted to welcome you here before I could possible forget. :D
