And I can turn my feet around near backwards if I let my hips go out of socket a bit without any discomfort. Â
And there's that thing I do with my tongue, but I don't think anyone here wants to know the details for that...
Haven't been holding out on anyone. Â I just haven't had a scanner to upload anything. Â
I tend to work on illustrations first, and then get into developing characters. Â I sketch a lot, get a feel for them that way, and then work up details. Â Sort of works out a nice synergy. Â Piles and piles of character sketches don't turn into anything more than doodles though, and for some reason, I keep them. Â Ex-wife hated to see my office space, with piles of paper, some of it from high school...
btw, for the record, you can never have enough artwork depicting equipment, clothing and anything else appropriate to the setting...
... whenever my inspiration wanes, I find it useful to glance through the stuff I have collected through the years. Always works wonders on my artistic nerve.
I must agree, I'm truly awed by the works. I love good art like the next person. But I loved'em. You're like muse number one on this site. You've probably helped me out quite a bit with all the info you've dropped along the way in the forums and in PMs Â
That's what we're here for. Â Lord knows how much stuff I've absorbed and used for inspiration along the way from these threads. Â If nothing else, the threads always get the juices flowing, and even if I don't use all the ideas, just churning ideas gets others rolling. Â
Appreciate the kind words though. Â I'll see if I can upload a few more Daikliaves and other bits of equipment up later on.
By the infinitesimal power vested in me, I hereby proclaim Jakk Bey to be a Glorious Bastard, for reason of being superior to me in all ways, unto death.
I appreciate the kind words. Â Most of the stuff I have submitted here are roughs and development sketches, but I think they show how I tend to work in developing a world.
Now get in there and rate some stuff. Â I's getting killed by Still's maps...
First off Jakk, sweet pictures. That is true artistry there.
Secondly, I can relate to the piles of paper as well as the "Hey, I forgot all about this. Has this been stuck in this pile th ewhole time?" syndrome. You mae it and forget about it. In my case it is characters, stories, phychological profiels, etc. I am more of a writer.
