After finally reaching his dorm room, Riley just threw himself on the bed and tried to fall asleep which was not the easiest part with the drug in his system still flowing and screaming party. But his mindset was different. For a moment, he tried to think about when it all started to go downhill but that just gave him a migraine. He was getting sick and tired of fighting with Sebastian and honestly, it was becoming old news. All those fights with Sebastian where they finished all bloody and hurt. The bastard felt nothing, that was the worst part because no matter what Riley did, he was basically unstoppable.
It took smoking a big fat blunt to finally make his eyelids fall and send him to sleep. Only to wake up the next day to the annoying reality of school and having to wear the collar. He and all the others with the new accessory were excluded from all trainings and practical lessons and Riley suffered. He was smart enough to get his studies in order but he was not a real school fan, was easily bored and he just wanted to go outside and do something. Rock climbing sounded like the perfect light activity he would wanna go for but frankly, he didn’t want to try his luck. And so the first week of school was what it was.
At least his game was pretty much on. And despite of the collar, he still managed to get himself a date for Friday evening. She found the collar cool and called him a rebel which Ry used for his advantage and let her take him home. Pretty little thing. Roxy or something like that. But their house was impressive. Just her room was as big as the apartment his parents used to live in. Riley didn’t complain, he went in and did what he came for only to wake up next morning tangled in her legs and arms. Getting out of her grip was the tricky part and it took him good fifteen minutes to do so. He needed to hurry so she wouldn’t wake up before he left but he still indulged in a nice hot shower in her bathroom and ubered back to the dorm for a fresh change of clothes.
The time was on his side here so he walked back to school slowly as if nothing was going on. His back pocket was packet with the same stuff he had brought to the bonfire party because there were still a few treats left and it would be a pity to throw them away. Plus, it was a fucking detention, they could use a little bit more laid back attitude. Especially with all those strong personalities in the building. Tugging on the collar a little, Ry tried to loosen it up a little but no such luck. It was starting to bother him and he would pay generously if someone took it off.
“Hey, you cool kids and kittens!” he yelled as he entered the room and made it his point to ignore the grumper in the first row. Sending a wink to Miya, he grinned. “Love the hat, blondie.” He headed to the back where Dante was already seated. “Lyla, sweetheart, come join us, don’t sit all alone there.” he invited the girl and made a beckoning gesture a second before offering a fist bump to Dante. Without saying a word, he flashed him a knowing smirk and wiggled his eyebrows at his best pal to let him know he didn’t come empty-handed. And the confession came a little while later as Anita walked to the class and came to join them to the back. “Welcome to the funhouse, Miss Villareal.” he spoke condescendingly and reached to his back pocket, presenting a cigarette pack with regular smokes, two blunts and a baggie with the last few pieces of the heart-shaped candy. “But that one is only for the bravest.” Riley added, poking a challenge at them.
