I'm Nate, or Iz.
I've been rping since I was very young, back in the early Aol days. I very much prefer rp in a chat room/instant message setting because of that. I like the pressure and the "live-ness" of it all, but preference is not necessity.
I'm interested in most genres and styles of play. I love Sci-fi, Fantasy, anime, video games. I generally prefer ocs and original plots (character creation and world creation is half the fun IMO) but will do fandoms if it's something I'm really into.
I'm straight. Not here for smut exactly, but I won't shy away.
I will only rp with literate, detailed writers. I'm not an ultra-stickler or elitist, but this is the only thing I'm really serious about. Not going to set required lengths or any of that, but I reserve the right to "meh."
I will also say that as a musician, traveler and former graffiti artist, I have a unique perspective from a lot of rpers. If you're looking for realism or someone familiar with, shall we say, the dark side of the world, look no further. I have a lot of knowledge on many things, historical, geographical, art and culture wise, on down to street culture.
