There was a ring at Shania and Kurama's door early morning on a Saturday. 'Ding Dong. Ding Dong.' It stopped for a few more moments before It started up again. The girl in front of the door was visiting unexpectedly today.


Sage on the other hand was bored, she didn't have work today and Rick was going to get off his shift soon.

Shania stopped making breakfast to answer the door her brother was in his room doing his morning study as he called it. She opened the oor "hello?"


KAi bounded up to Sage and smiled "your out on a day you are off? I am shocked where is hotpants?" Kai asked refering to Rick.

 

[Ricia]

Sage smiled in return her normal smiled, "Yeah I'm off today. I have nothing to do. Mmmm Rick should be getting off in the afternoon." She said checking her watch.


It was Rhea, she had with her a wagon with three large box's in it. They were all wrapped like presents. "Shania!" Rhea said, she had an excited glint in her eyes. "I have something for you guys!"

Shania smiled at the girl "come on in," she said "need help?" she asked shania was still in her night clothes in other words one of her brothers shirts and a pair of baggy pants.


Kai smiled "me an KAt decided something so as soon as he gets off I'l take you to my house," he said sounding exited

 

[Ricia]

Rhea smiled at her, "Yes please! These just came in over seas. My father's company shipped them, so we got them complementary! Of course my mom and dad don't use stuff like this... so I got two extras!" Rhea said. She handed Shania the two boxes, knowing the girl could easily carry them without blinking before she picked up the third box and coming into the house.


Sage looked a bit intrigued, "Oh, that means something fun should happen." She said, simply an observation, but it did certainly perk her interest. Kai proububly expected it.

Kai flipped his royal blue hair in a rather dramatic fashion "of course,"


Shania carried them into the living room "you hungry?" she asked Rhea the smell of bacon and biscuits filled the house.

 

[Ricia]

"I ate at home already, but I wouldn't mind some of your cooking." Rhea said with a smile, "So these are brand new.... there were a select few people who had the game before hand as a test... so there are a few people already play it, but it just came out to the public... we technically it doesn't come out till tomorrow... so we have it a day earlier! It brand new technology. Its a video game called bliss... but its not a normal video game. You use head sets to play! They are portable and you can work in them and everything." Rhea spewed rather excitedly.

Shania smiled "you are so exited, i'm guessing you want me and Kurama to play too?" she said and went to get the biscuits out of the oven.

 

[Ricia]

"Yes! I thought it would be fun, something we can do together! I manage to get an extra one to send to Roen, though I sent it in the mail." Rhea said, she took the biscuit thankfully. "So you'll try and play with me right?" She asked excitedly.

"of course what kind of game is it?" She asked Kurama came out of his room in casual clothing the only sign he was a holy man was the pendant he wore.


"hello Rhea...you are here early today," he said though he ha a smile in place.

 

[Ricia]

"Morning Kurama. Its an MMORPG! Stands for Muilty player online role play game.... We get to choose a race, then a class and go around fighting things! Join guilds and help players and do quests..." Rhea finished eating her busicet before opening one of the three boxes. "The game is pretty much the head set. Go ahead and open yours up!" Rhea said excitedly.

Kurama smiled at her enthusiasm it was hard to believe Rhea was shy. Shania opened one examining the headset wth her normal criticalness.

 

[Ricia]

Rhea took the head set and slipped it onto her head, adjusting the sides to fit her size. "I you can make the visor lift up during game so you can go do things... you'll still be in game and can talk to your party... but you can see through the avatar unless the visor is down." Rhea said, though she came up to Shania and put hers on her head before flipping it on for her.


When Rick was out of work, Sage grabbed hold of him before he could escape, "Come on, we are going to Kai's! He has something planned." She said with a smirk.


"Is it legal?" Rick asked rather straight faced.

Shania was startled at the start up it asked her what race she wanted to be and she looked around there were versions of her as other races. "odd... Rhea... this is odd,"


"It's mostly legal," Kai promised. He then went to his car hopping into the driver seat.

 

[Ricia]

Rhea giggled before she got out Kurama's and put it on his head and turned it on. Rhea turned on hers as well and smiled before looking through the races. Some of the beast races were really cute... but she liked being a human. Quickly she picked the human, next it asked her what class she wanted to choose. "Oh wow... So many classes!" Rhea said rather excited.


Sage laughed before hoping into Kai's car, Rick just made a disapproving sound, "I'm assuming Kat is waiting for us too?" he asked pulling out a cigarette.


"Duh. When is he not involved? Beside both you and Kai won't sleep with me, some one needs too." Sage said with a smirk. "I feel like I am in a Harem sometimes... of course I am the main character."


"WE ARE NOT AN ANIME!" Rick yelled, which made Sage start laughing.

Kai laughed at Rick "we could be, ohI'd aore being in a romantic comedy driving the main crazy,"


Kurama chuckled he picked human so did Shania. Shania quickly signd up for warrior longsword class. While her brother became a cleric

Rhea also choose the Summoner, with the promise of picking an animal that she specialized in. She picked dragon. Last she had to name herself. "I don't know what to call myself... Oh I know!" She said happily before thinking up her name: LilDragonelle.


When the logged on the for the first time, LilDragonelle was surprised with how real everything felt. It was amazing in her opinion! "I can feel everything! Its like... its like, real!" She said running over to a building and touching the smooth rock. "And the whole town is so beautiful!" She had altered her appearance just a bit, she had longer hair, but she did have glasses. She had a starting staff.

Rick sighed and rolled his eyes. Of course when they got to Kai's house, Sage ran in to Kai's room to tackle Kat. Rick was following behind slowly.

Shanai did not change herself at all she came into game looking just like she did out of game a sword on her back. "this s... new tech?" she asked. Her user name was BloodAngel.


Kurama made himself a bit different growing his hair to hirt his shoulders and makinghim a bit tanner, His name was Priest.


Kat hugged Sage "I missed you!" the spastic boy said.

Sage smirked, "I missed you too... even though I saw you last week. We really should go to the same school." Sage said with a chuckle. Of course Rick was a college student. "Alright you spazs... what kind of mischief am I watching you do today?"





LilDragon smiled excitedly, "Look it even show's facial expressions! Its so in tune to your body!" She said. She ran over to BloodAngel and tackle hugged her, she felt like she was really hugging her. "That almost makes me feel scared what it would be like to get hit by a monster..." She observed.

"i won;t let any monsters neer you, I'm sure my kendo experiance will give me an ace in combat," BloodAngel said.


"A new game!" Kat cheered "I've made my char I'm ShadowKAt the elven rouge dagger weilder!"

 

[Ricia]

"I see... A video game... sound lame." Sage said she sounded pretty disappointed, it was written all over her face. But then again, around Kai, Kat and Rick, she didn't much pretend anything. She liked games... but her games were more fun... like breaking people hearts or making people cry. Not.. video games. Sage went to go lay down onto Kai's bed, spreading out and taking the majority of the room.


Rick smirked, "That new game? Bliss? Let me guess, you manage to get a copy of it?" Rick asked with a chuckle. "Sure i'll play, wouldn't mind trying it."

lilDragonelle laughed lightly, "I don't think real life experiences are going to help much in a video game." She told BloodAngel with a smile. She held her staff with two hands. Gently she pushed her glasses up before looking around town. "Wow... first actual players. We should go explore! I am sure there is a tutorial NPC somewhere around here."

Shania was examining the suroundings quietly she always had a rather hard look about her like a thug almost if she din't inherit her mothers rather beautiful feminine frame. She smiled at Rhea untill she heard a voice her first thought was to her blade she was not sure how heavey or useful it was not having drawn it yet. She knew a few of these new tech games had things called player killers that got a high on killing noobs like her.


Kurama however did not have such a violent reaction he looked alot like his sister even in game. He did however keep a much softer facial expression when he heard a voice he looked to se if it was this tutorial npc Rhea had spoken of.


Kai laughed at Sage, "its a real life rpg, i even hacked so you could be a guy an flirt with all the hot women,"

LilDragonelle gasped lightly before hiding behind BloodAngel. She pushed her glasses up gently peaking behind the girl. She insistently toned down to a bit shy. The only person who look remotely friendly of the group that Torna approached was the long haired cleric user named Priest. BloodAngel just looked flat out intimidating and LilDragonelle looked like she wasn't going to come out from behind BloodAngel. "We are real people." LilDragonelle said from behind longswords women.


Sage whistled lightly, "Oooh?" She rolled over to her side on the bed and supported her head with her hand and looked at them. "That is tempting..."


"Of course you would hack it..." Rick said narrowing his eyes a bit. "Ok, show us the goods." Rick said holding out his hand.


"Hold on, I've not fully agreed...." Sage said putting up her free hand, "How do I know this really is going to be fun? I never really liked video games that much.."

Kat smiled "we can kiss and flirt in game and actually feel It I grabbed boss's butt and it was so soft he smacked me too and it stung," he pouted "please play with us?"


Kai chuckled and got out four of the sets tossing Rick his. Kai looked at Sage "its said you can do most everything in game you can out of game,"

 

[Ricia]

"Ooh? Ok, find then, I'll try." Sage said and took one of the sets. Rick grabbed his without much effort before putting his on his head and turning it on. Within minutes, they were in the small village covered in flowers over white stone. Sage looked lightly impressed for but a moment before going back to being impassive.


Death was her screen name... and the best part was she looked male. She didn't change her appearance much, her blue hair taking on a much more boyish style and making herself a lot taller then she really was. Death even took on pole arms as her class getting a fancy scythe for her weapon. She picked her race as human. Though she really almost picked a cat class, "Shadow Kat... and Trickster. Nice screen names." She told them.


Rick of course picked a Human as well, not interested in any of the other classes, mostly because he didn't gain anything from picking a different race. He didn't change his appearance much at all, his blond hair still falling over his face and his blue eyes shining lightly, his frown complimented his face well in his opinion. "Nice... this is pretty advance tech." Shade was his screen name. He walked over to the small fountain, sticking his hand under the water, feeling it. "Very cool."
