Amora Aurora
Professional Hippie
Hey Guys, It's me, Amora, searching again!
I've done 1x1 search threads so many times that I don't really feel the need to introduce myself and all that junk. If you don't know me, shoot me a PM, we'll become friends I promise.
I've got some time freed up and I'm looking for an interesting story to pass the time and pull on my heartstrings a little. I do a lot of romance slice of life stuff, and I'd love a few more of those, but I'm also looking to get into something possibly sci-fi, maybe futuristic if you're willing to go deep into plot building with me, because I want to understand everything about the world we're creating instead of winging it.
Anyway, while romance is pretty much a must, I am open to playing either gender. I'd appreciate if you were too. I like doubling to make things fair, though it's not required. On average, I expect at least three paragraph replies, though a paragraph or two is acceptable if the characters are in a conversation that we want to move along quickly.
Disclaimer: my schedule's a little crazy. I have an adult life that requires my attention and I won't be posting every day unless I'm very interested in the story we're building.
(I'm too lazy and short tempered to fuck with accordions right now, so my current interests will be below but I'm open to any plots you may have.)

Dystopian: (MxF or FxF)
Muses live in a 'Utopian Society' that we will build together (i.e. spouses are picked for you, everyone dresses the same, careers are handed out and not applied for, money doesn't exist etcetera) and it's been this way for decades. Muse A and Muse B were neighbors and friends their entire lives. Muse A is entering his/her twenty-first year and it's time for him/her to be married off, but the two friends can't help but feel like something is pulling them towards each other, and his/her marriage is somehow wrong, though they don't quite understand love and what it means, or why they feel this way and they're not sure there's anything they can do about it.
American Star (Based on a show I'm sure no one's seen or remembers, Instant Star. Requires multiple characters.)
Muse A just won the hottest new singing competition and she's suddenly thrust into instant fame. Juggling her old life and friends with the pressures of stardom won't come easy. Especially when she's signed to a record label with an older, unbearably rude but intriguing producer/former boy band member, Muse B. Muse B finds her a band, (possibly bringing in more characters) and insists she leaves her old friends and love interests behind and focuses on her new career.
The Fourth Floor (requires doubling, preferably tripling or more.)
The fourth floor of Saint Valence hospital is reserved for special cases of young adult mental disorders. From phobias to eating disorders and mental illnesses, the specialized doctors are trained to handle unique cases, and house up to ten patients at a time. Most patients on the fourth floor have been there for years, with no hope of escape, but they've grown tight bonds with one another regardless, and when their families stop showing for visitors day, giving up on them like the rest of the world, the other patients become their family. When unstable young people spend 24 hours a day together, things are bound to get messy.
Take Me Away (possible doubling)
It's time for a princess of a kingdom of our creation to finally marry the boy her parents chose for her before she was even born. Said boy happens to be a devilishly handsome prince from their brother kingdom. The two rarely see eye to eye and she can't imagine being his betrothed. When the day of their wedding approaches, the princess disappears into the forest, where she runs into an intriguing stranger, a man who is later revealed to be a dark wizard. The wizard sees her fascination with him as an opportunity to turn the princess towards dark magic, and whisks her away into a world of passion and evil. //Optional: back home, her betrothed joins the search party for the princess, but picks a fight with the wrong knight and ends up in the castles healer quarters getting his arm mended, where he meets and quickly falls for the healers daughter. The two strike up a secret affair dreading the day the princess is found.
Stay Away
Muse A is a caregiver of the elderly. Her most recent client is a crabby old woman who has a 'psychic' visit her once a week to predict her future. Muse A doesn't believe in such nonsense and when the psychic predicts the old woman's upcoming death and sends the woman into a panic, Muse A insults the scammer and kicks her out. During the argument, Muse A grabs the psychics arm and the psychic warns her that she will also die within the year, but not before she meets the love of her life. Muse A shrugs it off until the next morning, when her client is reported dead. Suddenly convinced that the psychic may not be a phony, Muse A promises not fall in love within the year, hoping that preventing one of the psychics predictions will prevent her death as well. That's when Muse B, a rough man with a sharp tongue and obnoxious confidence sweeps into Muse A's life and makes it hard to say no.
