Its a Dogs Life
In this RP your dog lives in a special sanctuary created to help dogs in need of a second chance live out their lives happily. You were rescued off the streets or from a kill shelter by one of the handlers either Gwyn or Matt.



Setting



You live on a huge property that is completely fenced and safe but you never feel trapped. In the middle of the property is a huge barn with stalls lining the walls. Each dog has his/her own separate stall with a little wooden den in the corner with extra bedding. The center of the barn is open with space for the dogs to roam and play. At night all dogs must come back to the barn if you aren’t there by dark your handler will come find you. The barn has cameras so the handlers can break up fights but it will take them a few minutes to get there. The property is huge with forests and hill and streams to romp through.



Handlers



Gwyn and Matt feed each dog in there stalls which are painted according to the dog’s personality. After that the dogs are let out and they are free to roam the property. However the handlers always know where you are because each dogs wears a collar with a tracking device in it.



*These handlers can be played by any person at any time they are just there as caretakers but they aren’t really involved

Other: She can be very aggressive when a fight breaks out among the other dogs, usually stepping in and roughly putting an end to things. She is very loyal to her friends and would lay her life down in a heartbeat to protect someone she holds dear. For being so young, she is extremely brave and exhorts dominance over those who need leadership from time to time.

Personality: He's very lazy and tends to just follow others around. He loves puppies and is very docile when it comes to other dogs. He makes for a great companion, often following his master around.

History: Born to a family of humans who didn't want him, he was sent to the pound where he spent the first few months of his life laying in a 3 by 5 kennel, surrounded by barking and leaping mongrels hungry for attention. Finally, he was adopted by a young man whom was very much into rec. hunting. He fondly remembers wandering after him in the dense woods, chasing after small rodents and bringing them back, writhing and twitching as he dropped him at his master's feet. He knew that the roar of a bullet as it struck a creature was a sign to go retrieve it, and for the next two years he was as happy as could be. One winter, his master caught pneumonia and had to stay in a hospital. For nearly a year he spent every waking moment at his master's feet, bed-side and worried. The following spring the man passed, and another male stepped into the Titan's life. The man was his master's nephew, and so he was sent to live with him. There he met Delilah. She was a Caviler Spaniel, gorgeous as any other dog could possibly be. She was sweet, even tempered, and always enthralled to spend time with him and their owner. In no time she had become pregnant, and Titan and she were very happy. In the weeks prior to the birth, complications had surfaced. Delilah had become quite ill, and on the day she delivered the pups, it was too much. She passed away during birth, their four puppies dying in the process. Titan became depressed, no longer wanting to play with the master, no longer wanting to go outside--basically, he spent all his time wallowing on the floor next to Delilah's bed, whining for hours on end. Eventually it became too much for the owner as he put Titan up for adoption, and in doing so, turned the mournful dog livid. He had to drag him the by collar outside the house and into a crate until his new masters would arrive, and without Delilah's scent nearby, he was losing it. When the day came and a family was to pick him up, he lunged, plowing by the new humans and into the ajar door that lead to house. He skidded in the hallway when he saw the bed and Delilah's toys were no longer there. Stunned, when a hand clamped down around his scruff to drag him out, he instinctively bit it, and received a harsh blow to the head with a steel-toed boot in order to make him release. Blacking out after that, he awoke in a cage, next to be put down for biting a person. That was when Matt came and rescued him, taking him to the sanctuary.

Personality: Bear is very dominant. He is known to intimidate the most fierce of dogs with no more than a single stare, and is not afraid to knock a disobedient other around.

History: Stray for most of his life, picked up by animal control at an early age, sent to a "kill" shelter and rescued by Gwyn and Matt.

Personality: A sweet little pup who loves to play sometimes she likes to sleep in flower gardens. Chizuka hates to fight and just wants friends. She will stick up for anyone being bullied despite her age and size.

Collar: Black with blue fire


History: born in a kill shelter but during a fire was rescued and sent to the sanctuary to develop social skills with other dogs. She has to be bottle fed since she is still young.

Personality: Quiet at times, but can be blunt, stubborn, warmhearted, and friendly. Dislikes bossy animals and being out in the rain.

History: Ran away when she was very young but was rescued by Gwyn.
