Esther could only laugh at what her father was saying, she had no idea if Michael would be the one she married. Right now, they were simply enjoying being teenagers in love. She had strong feelings for him, but with those strong feelings also can concern. She was afraid of not being able to protect him or what if he decided he didn't want to be with her? She shook her head, it was hard being a teenager and definitely hard not having any confidence. Esther simply smiled at her father, as she awaited Michael to arrive and anticipated what the breakfast might be like.

"Daddy, just try not to be too protective of me.... I really don't want to to scare him off!" With that, she made her way towards the front door to see if he was on his way. She could have easily texted him, but she was too excited and she just couldn't wait to see him. When she saw Michael headed that way, she ran to him and quickly placed a kiss on his cheek. "Hey! Long time no chat!" She stuck her tongue out playfully at him, before she walked alongside him.

Rachel was really tired of the attitude she got from her sister-in-law, but she didn't want to act immature in front of her children or her sister-in-law. "Believe me, I do not need help with the children...." That was all she said, quickly giving a kiss to her son and daughter. "I hope you all slept well, did you guys make sure all your schoolwork is in your backpack?" She was really hoping that someday they could get along, but for now she had to focus on her own kids and make sure her adopted daughter felt just as welcome. She never wanted any of her children to feel like they didn't belong nor did she really want her sister-in-law to feel like she didn't belong but she really had no idea how else to help her.

Daisy rolled her eyes. Maybe she was being rude to her sister in law but she couldn't help but feel like she was losing Nicholas to the rest of the family. The moment she found out about her brother's new family she broke down in tears. For years she had worried about him and hoped he was safe where ever he was since she hadn't talked to him in years yet he didn't even write her a letter. Daisy's parents were furious about him and the others leaving thus they made crude jokes about their own son possibly not being alive to stop Daisy from searching for him. She picked up her plate and washed it which is something she hasn't done since she arrived. Daisy felt that it was the least she could do and would get her in good graces with her brother.

Upstairs Nicholas was listening and waiting. He knew that Daisy snuck out and he was just about to confront her when his wife and other kids decided to walk down the stairs. He decided it would be better to talk about it later away from everyone so she wouldn't feel embarrassed. He walked downstairs to a full breakfast his wonderful adoptive daughter made. Surprisingly no arguing had occurred after Daisy made her comment. Although he loved his sister if she was causing trouble and making his children and wife uncomfortable he would send her back to their parents in a heartbeat. "Morning everyone!", he shouted before he walked over to his wife and kissed her on the cheek. "Sorry I wasn't down here earlier." he apologized.

"I wish I could homeschool but I am very busy", she said. She felt awful because the kids at the school bullied Alexis but at the same time she had a job that paid well and she couldn't imagine quitting. Maybe she could get some kind of tutor to teach them for her. It would expensive but maybe it would help her kids. "Please don't cry Alex. Today you too won't have to go to school and instead can go to work with me. Sound fun?". Julia was a bit worried they would be bored but maybe they would fun exploring the office.

She nodded her head in agreement. "You have a solution for everything. That's why I love you", she expressed before she pressed a kiss on his lips "Thank you for the rice Nami you are so helpful", she giggled taking the rice from her daughter. She looked at the table concerned about what other furniture Kimichi could ruin in the future. "We won't get rid of Kimichi". Nayeon made her way in the kitchen to heat up the rice. "But seriously we need to replace the table if my mom is ever going to visit. She would totally freak out if she saw the bite marks". She wanted to prove to her parents that depiste getting pregnant at a young age she could be sucessful and happy. So if her parents were going to visit she wanted their house to free of any imperfections. "I'm about to take my final exams and soon I'll be graduating. Do you think you'll be going back to college any time soon?" she asked as she set the table with various side dishes such as kimchi, a fish stew, and bean sprouts. She loved the fact that Jun-Seo decided to drop college but she wanted him to go back as soon as possible because she knew it was his dream.

Bailey reached out sleepily towards the alarm clock, giving it a firm tap on the top to shut it up Before rolling over and drifting off to sleep again.

Bailey sat up in bed suddenly. She urgently looked at the face of the clock, silencing it as she did. She breathed a sigh of relief as she noticed that she'd only overslept by a few minutes. She went through a similar pattern most mornings. Wake up to alarm, snooze alarm, wake up to alarm again panicking that she'd turned it off completely instead of just snoozing it. Nine times out of ten, Bailey woke with plenty of time to prepare, but every now and then she'd snooze one too many times or just shut off the alarm completely and she really didn't want to have to deal with that kind of stress this morning. Bailey Stretched as her heart rate slowed, returning to a normal pace after having been beating wildly in panic.

Eventually, Bailey reluctantly pulled herself out of bed. She headed towards the bathroom to freshen herself up before returning to her room. Bailey pulled out some clothes and quickly changed from her pyjamas into said clothes, she then pulled a brush through her hair, attempting to remove the knots that had formed overnight. Bailey put an almost unnoticeable amount of makeup on her face, she didn't want to appear as if she was wearing makeup but rather just wore enough to help cover her insecurities regarding her appearance. Bailey looked in the mirror. Despite having just been brushed, her hair still looked a little on the messy side, curling slightly as it flowed slightly past her shoulders. Next, Bailey double checked her bag to make sure that she'd packed everything the night before. Books, check. Pencil case, check. Meds, Check. Satisfied, Bailey zipped up her bag, slinging it over her right shoulder before making her way out of her room.

"Morning Mom, Morning Dad." She called as she stepped into the kitchen, expecting to see them there. ​

John felt his heart swell with endearment at Casey’s words. “I love you too,” he told her, sure to annunciate every syllable. It meant a lot considering the hell he’d gone through in court to get custody. That simple declaration from her had made everything well worth it. He couldn’t imagine not having her with him right now.

“Papa should be here any minute now.” As he said this, he scanned the crowd of people now filing in through the gate. Some of them were upset, others tired, but the majority were tourists clearly excited about their vacation. John was able to easily pick Shun out from the crowd. He had a toddler wrapped in his arms, which John immediately pegged as adorable.

The kiss John received was chaste, considering their current predicament, but he was just happy to have his husband back here by his side. He was even happier to see that the trip was successful, the little girl he now saw worthy for the effort.

Upon being introduced to the sleepy Aina, John gave a warm wave, his other hand pressed on Casey’s shoulder to comfort her. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Aina,” he said honestly. Although he wasn’t sure if she would be okay with him touching her, he felt the urge to pull her into a hug between him and Shun. And god was that urge hard to resist.

By the time merri got downstairs, two of the girls were already there, little Talia had rushed downstairs and Audrey also seemed pretty keen for the breakfast that was cooking in the pan. Her wife was a much better cook than herself. She was often reminded how lucky she was to have finally found the one after so many years of feeling like something was amiss. "Smells yummy!" Merri said enthusiastically as she scooted over next to her wife to grab a coffee, the machine was done so she grabbed her take away mug and transferred the black liquid into it. She looked down at her watch and clicked her tongue "Mmm, I'll grab a few bites, too delicious to pass up for soulless work food." She said with a grin as she served herself up a plate real quick and dug in, sitting down at the table "Alex dragging her feet again, she better not have gone back to sleep" Merri said lightly, knowing the girl would probably be right down.

She ate rather quickly as she was a little bit pressed for time. Once she had cleaned her plate she stood up and Kissed Talia on the forehead "Be good for your Mommy today, ok hun? Mama's gotta get going. Got some cute animal's to make feel all better" She turned her attention to Audrey "You to Audrey, make lots of nice art for me today, you're good at that." She then moved on to stand in the stairway "Allleeexxx, get down here, I've gotta get going!" Finally she walked over to her wife "I can get the school run on the way home tonight if you want, Hun, I should be having an early finish today." She would head for the door after that, "Love you all, bye-bye!"

After finally managing to get out after saying goodbye to everyone she hopped in her Toyota landcruiser and headed out onto the road, sipping at her coffee as she backed out. It was time to start another day.

Andre was pleased when she finally got off that bluetooth and turned to face him, apology on her lips. He greeted her with a warm smile. He sure had a beautiful wife. "Yeah I know the one." He replied "it's real early for them to be hassling you." He said "You know, there is a new Japanese restaurant that had just opened up in town, how about I book us a table for the weekend, I'm sure you need a little break!" His suggestion seemed to remind her of her son who was still upstairs more than anything because that was the next question she asked. "I'll go and wake him if you go on a date with me" He winked at her playfully.

Since she had breakfast sorted, Andre called the dog over to his bowl "Ranger?" He called "Hungry??" He waited for the dog to approach before empting the dog food into his bowl. Before the dog could eat he said "Sit boy... wait" Then after a beat "Okay go on, eat up! Good boy" He left the dog to eat his food while he moved back over to Lydia "Alright I'll go see what the boy is doing" He resigned before heading towards the stairs pausing only today "Don't run off anywhere!"

After he made it upstairs he Knocked on Owen's door "Bud, you up?" He called "You're mum's made you breakfast, and she's gotta head out soon." He said "Get a move on Kiddo." He finished

Sandra woke up in the best way possible. Bernie telling her good morning. She smiled and replied in kind, “Goodmorning, handsome,” before getting up and out of bed with a small yawn. He eyes were a bit watery — they always were in the morning — but she ignored the blurriness.

Choosing to get the kids up before getting dressed, Sandra wandered out into the hall and gently opened the door. “Morning,” she sang. Leon was already awake, which wasn’t unusual. Still, she saw the paper plane on Aspen’s bed and couldn’t help the smile on her face. “Trying to bug your sister again, are we?” she teased as she pulled open the curtains. “Alright, up-and-at-em’. Brush your teeth, wash your face, comb your hair, get dressed, and come down for breakfast.”

She left the room and headed back to the master’s to get her own clothes on. Choosing a loosely fitted tank top and some jeans, she ambled downstairs and to the kitchen as if by second-nature. Her eyes immediately caught sight of her husband. She kissed the back of his head and hugged him from behind as he continued to flip through the slides.

“Everything ready for work today?” Sandra asked, letting him go to scan through the contents of their fridge. “Hmm… how does frittata sound for breakfast?” She was a quick cooker, which meant this meal would be done just in time for him to take some to work. Already she was pulling out veggies and eggs from their respective drawers, knowing she’d have to hurry.

Aina clutched her tiny little hands loosely against the fabric of Shun's shirt after she was lifted up from her chair of the large plane. She had manage to fall into a light slumber for a few minutes until they got off the plane as it instantly got a lot louder the moment they were off the plane. Way louder compared to the airport in Japan. These people would of gotten in trouble if one of her grandmothers was here for being so noisy. The very tired three year old pulled her head away from Shun's neck as it was no use at the moment to try and sleep with all the loudness.


Staring hazily around at her new surroundings though looking like she could re-fall asleep at any minute. Trying to focus her sleepy eyes, looking at the weird words that had no signs of any kanji she couldn't read kanji either but obaasan would often point it out too her when they were out in public. But she's never seen stuff like this and she instantly noticed how greasy food smelt from the airport's food court, Aina didn't like the smell so much. It didn't smell yummy at all like any food back in Japan.


The three year old yawned tiredly as she noticed two people that were staring at her father when he started walking towards them, maybe it was her new Nee-Chan and her other new Otousan? Which turned out to be true as soon once Papa began to introduce them to her then he started speaking weirdly the other guy spoke weirdly too. The three year old very tiredly stared between both of her new dads then at her new sister feeling a little more overwhelmed. She then said “hello” in Japanese.

As Nayeon started to talk about her final exams coming up and that she was gonna be graduating soon. He was stuck when she asked him if he was going to go back to college. "Honostly I havent though about that for a while now considering that I'm not really what career I want to take, sure I wanted to become a lawyer but I'm not really sure right now." Honestly he hadn't consider anything else but Nami Lee ever since he found out he was gonna be a dad. "Plus I have a stable job, I'm on my way to even becoming the head chef at my current job." I want your dad to get to know me more, Plus I want him to like me. Do you think he'll agree to it?" Michael asked a bit nervous when he stopped in front of Esther's house.
