Ranger

Ranger lied back against the a nice soft dog bed by the kitchen dining table his right full spot in the Sanders house, as he aged he learned that he wasn't capable of going upstairs as much anymore. His bad hips just couldn't take the climb up and down everyday anymore without assistance to the point the dog started refusing to go upstairs with his masters and would just start sleeping on living room rug. The German shepherd rested his head comfortably against the edge of his bed as he looked around the currently empty kitchen.

Smokey & Kimchi

Now where did that pesky puppy go? A small but very fluffy kitten with fur matching the color of ash. The young kitten laid perched above the ground on the comforts of his kitty tower. Spotting Kimchi by the stairway Ah that poor stubby dog won't be able to climb up those steps with her short stubby legs for a while. Sure Smokey could easily just try to jump over the pup to go upstairs, but that dog was really easy to fool and mess with he'd say so. Except when she came up behind him out of nowhere now sure he'd run away but he definitely wasn't scared of that dog. Only a fool would be afraid of that fluffy puppy.

Kimchi was a brave puppo protecting her family from anything that seems suspicious whether it be the pesky sounds outdoors! The cat, a shadow, or the cursid doorstopper nothing got by on this corgi's watch! The very young puppy scampered away from the stairs once she was sure that everything was okay she moved into the living room looking for something before laying down biting down on the hard wooden table leg. Gnawing her teething her puppy teeth into it the hard wood.

The little girl had been sleeping rather peacefully, she had gotten up a few times in the middle of the night to try and sleep with her parents, but they managed to get her back into her bed. She didn't like to be alone, even though she had a puppy kimchi who supped by her side and also got into her stuff. There was mixed feelings between the two, but with every she was lonely she could always count on her fateful friend.

Nami Lee climbed out of bed at that moment, she got up to go see what was going on as she had heard some noise coming from the living room and she rushed into the room. "Oh no! Kimi.... You're going to get in trouble! Mama and Papa are going to be mad!"

She tried to go over there and stop the dog from chewing, but she was just a little girl and was no match for the playful puppy.

Michael was busy getting ready for school when he noticed his phone begin to light up & a familiar sound emanated from the device. He picked up his phone and hit the home button to unlock it. Michael finished getting ready for today & called out to his dog & most beloved friend, Hazel, Michael's service dog. He absolutely adored her from the moment he got her. She would always around when he needs her, be it physically or emotionally. Hazel would be there."Hazel, C'mon Girl! We're going to go see Esther, C'mon!" Where was the furry friend of the eldest Stephenson kid? For she was in the backyard. Hazel's head shot up at the sound of her best friend calling her name from inside the house. Wagging her tail as she shared her fur around before taking off as fast as the boarder collie could run from where she had stood in the backyard. Entering the house with ease through the dog door that let her go in and out when she was home. Running up to where Michael was happily licking his hand before grabbing the sevice dog vest by the attached leash that usually was in a small basket by the front door for when they would go out. Dragging the leash and vest over to him.

Kimchi

Kimchi grinded her needy puppy teeth more roughly scrapping some of the outter layer wood trying to relieve some of the tension from her growing k9's. She knew this was a bad thing to do the young corgi has been scolded quite a few times from chewing objects, especially when it came to some of Nami Lee's toys. Surely Kimchi had some dog toys but she destroyed the last of the dog toys this morning one looked at her funny.

Her ears suddenly perked up at the sound of her favorite person coming to the living room, sure they had some moments but that didn't stop from loving the tiny girl. But the puppy just simply whined at her continuing to chew the table leg.

Merri was up bright and early already brushing her teeth early in the morning. Before leaving the bed she stopped to admire her stunning wife and couldn't help but smile. Her life finally felt right. Not perfect, her family still wasn't talking to her apart from her eldest brother Chaz, and her ex-husband resented her and refused to come near her or his children, so whenever one of them would ask who there dad was or why they didn't have one like the other kids she had no idea what to say. She moved over to her window and opened the curtains so the light poured into the room, filling it up and hopefully making it hard to keep sleeping. She then opened her closet and placed the little school uniform on the bed for her "Get dressed and head downstairs for breakie." She ordered gently as she went to leave the room again to go to the next one.

This time she rapped on Alexs door and then opened it "Up and at 'em honey." She told her walking in and similarly opening the curtains up "Teeth, uniform, downstairs for breakfast." She ordered in a gentle voice for the second time. Third time lucky she went to do the same with Audrey. "Time to get up lovely" She called after knocking and opening up the blinds "Get dressed and ready then come downstairs for breakfast, please" She asked kindly before leaving the room and heading into her own dressing room to get ready for work. Her uniform were a standard pair of blue scrubs and a white coat, but on the pockets of the coat she had pressed on a little image of a paw-print and a red cross, just to make it somewhat individual.

It had been a rough couple of days for Shun. He'd arrived in Japan after booking a very last minute flight which probably cost a bit too much, but he was so eager to meet his daughter. He wondered what his other children would think about it, he also wondered weather he could ever forgive Reiko, a pretty young student who had given birth to his daughter and proceeded to not tell him for the first three years of his life. He was unbelievably angry about it. He had a long flight, had he had one day in japan to get to know her before he took her back home to meet her other new daddy and siblings. He'd bought her a big stuffed toy and a pretty little pink dress and he'd come dressed in an expensive and neat black trench coat, button up and pants, with his hair neatly combed and meticulously styled so not one strand was out of place. He was so nervous and for some reason wanted to look his absolute best.

"Aina-Chan" He called when he saw her for the first time "I am your daddy, You have a big sister and and another daddy to look after you, do you want to meet them?" He had asked her in Japanese "Here, this is from all of your family" he had then handed her the big stuffed puppy with his cute little decoration on his ear "You can name him if you like?" He had told her.

He remembered this as he now sat on the plane in the final stretch of the trip back to his family home "Aina-chan look, you can see america" He called to the little girl, gently lifting her up so that she could look out the window at the sprawling country below "Everyone will meet us when we land." He told her with a gentle smile "Are you ready little girl?" She was absolutely adorable. His husband should be waiting with his daughter at the airport, they'd taken one day off school and work so that they could be there for him and the poor little confused child who had been handed around to so many people in the last few days, she was bound to be a little over-whelmed. "I love you, Aina-chan, daddy loves you so much." he brought her into a cuddle just as the announcer asked them all to put their seatbelts on for landing. He helped Aina with hers and then fitted his own. Soon they would be on the ground.

Andrew woke up early before the sun rose, as he always did. It was a habit he developed since middle school and he had yet to cut it. He went for a morning jog, fed the dog, took a shower, all routine things he's done for months. After drying off his hair and putting on a hoodie and slacks, he opened up the fridge to determine what he could make for breakfast. Some eggs were left, but not enough milk or butter for pancakes. Rummaging through the cabinets he came out with some cheese and bacon. This will have to do. As he toasted some bread and heated up the pan, he made a mental grocery list for which he'd complete later in the day.

Andrew wasn't exactly planning on going outside, but with the barren state of the fridge, it looked like he'd have to. He plated the sunny side eggs, bacon, and toast onto two plates for his kids. For himself, he made a cup of tea and toast with cream cheese. He didn't need much in terms of breakfast, in fact at one point he lost his appetite in the morning as a whole. Settling down on the kitchen table, he opened up his laptop and scrolled through the latest news articles. Physical newspapers were too bothersome to get everyday, so he openly embraced the new online platform. Plus, he was a programmer, it'd be uncharacteristic of him to go against the digital age.

Sipping his tea, he heard light footsteps upstairs, signaling Esther had awoken. Perhaps Michael would be joined them for breakfast. He hummed at the thought, getting up to fish out ingredients from the fridge. Michael was Esther's boyfriend, which Andrew didn't really mind. He seemed like a nice, young man with no ill will to his daughter, so everything was good. Well, good in the sense that Esther was happy, but the kid wasn't exactly family yet. Andrew didn't know much about him, and he was still wary about the fact that his 15 year old daughter was already being involved with someone romantically. It made his inner dad senses spike up. She was his little girl and to see her with a boy made his heart clench. 'God, I really am getting old. Oh, Marie, how did I age so quickly?' He thought to himself, preparing a third plate of food.

The past couple of days have been rather hectic for the young little Aina, being stripped from her Oba-tan and Oji-tan after Oba-tan started acting weirder then she normally did. She had started coughing more like she had something in her throat, and that she started having to go to nursery school for longer then she usually did. Plus there was more take-out food instead of Oba-tan's yummy cooking.

She didn't like the change so much it felt like they were trying to spend less time with her. Then Mama came home one day and started packing up all her cute clothes and some of her toys in Aina's going away bag. Aina thought they were taking a vacation together but instead Mama took her to a house where some people around the same age as her grandparents lived. There Aina learned she had another set of grandparents it was then her mama left her there afterwards to get to know her new grandparents. And learn that she had a dad who was coming to get her.

She had a Papa? The two year old was a little skeptical over learning about her new father, and that Mama would just simply give her away like this? Did her grandparents know? Did they not love her anymore? Would her papa like her? The little three year old was very confused about the whole ordeal and had many questions. She wasn't sure what to do at first when a man holding a big plush dog entered the building of her new grandparents place. He spoke her name in a manor that calmed the toddler, there she learned she had two Papas and a Onee-tan. She named her Papa's gift Mochi.

Now Aina stood partially in the large chair of the airplane using the armrest for support as she tried to peer out of small window when Shun lifted her up so she could see. "Wow!" She spoke in Japanese looking out the window in amazement and the land below them. America looked big and small at the same time to Aina. The more she stared out the window the more heavier her eyes got, as Japan was many hours ahead of America. So this was technically pretty late for the girl to stay up for. "Mhmm!" She nodded her head looking back at her dad when he asked her qquestions Moving to sit back in the large chair getting more comfortable as she cuddled partially into her dad's side, before she dozed off.

Julia woke up later than usual. Instead of sleeping, she spent the better half of the night researching houses that fit her client's picky taste. The customers were newlyweds with a tight budget and expensive taste which meant it was nearly impossible to find them something that would fit their needs. She tried showing the couple townhouses but they insisted they needed at four bedrooms because they planned on starting a family as soon as possible. Julia tried to reason with them but they were quite stubborn and insisted on a large glamorous house that didn't exceed more than five thousand dollars. The agency was desperate to keep the customers since they had never had lost any in ten years. It was the selling point on all their advertisements but Julia couldn't take it anymore. The only option the couple had was to move away from the city and into the country which she doubts they will want to live so far away. But it was worth a shot since she wanted to keep her job.

She quickly slipped out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. Surprisingly no circles had appeared under her eyes from last night but it still didn't help much. So Julia showered, washed her face and brushed her teeth all at the same time so she would have enough time to do a little makeup. It was crucial that she didn't look like she was crying while looking for her client's house even though she did and almost gave up. Once she got dressed in her usual blouse and skirt she applied and red lipstick, concealer and dabbed on mascara to finish her look. Before she walked downstairs she realized no had cooked breakfast yet. She liked to cook large meals early in the morning so the whole family could eat healthy in the morning together but today she didn't have time.

Julia spotted her son. "Good morning honey", she beamed as she saw Michael playing the dog. "I'm going to see what I can whip up really quick but if we don't have time I'll just send you off with some money okay? Everything is good at school right?".

Nayeon instantly woke up as she heard the loud barking noise. She loved the dog and didn't mind the barking but for some reason, it was louder than normal. Nayeon slowly tiptoed out of the bed careful not wake Jun-Seo since he had work soon. Before she walked out of the room to check on their daughter she turned her head to see her fiance. Seeing him look so exhausted made her guilty even though Jun-Seo made the choice to stay with her. The moment she found out she was pregnant she insisted that they could have a long distance relationship and she could handle a single parent for a few months.

Nayeon then headed to the living room as Nami usually went there when she escaped. Nayeon stooped dead in her tracks as she saw the dog chewing on the table legs. "Kimchi stop that!", she yelled before scooping her daughter up. "Next time you need tell mama or papa that Kimchi is biting the furniture okay? Now let's get you something to eat. What do you want?".

She quickly put her hands on her mouth, as she was near the kitchen and had no desire to freak her dad out. She took a moment to collect herself before she walked into the room, giving her dad a bright smile. "Good morning, daddy!" She was very much a daddy's girl, even though she was now a teenager. Michael bent over to place the vest & leash onto his dog, He took the leash, attaching it to his waist. This was the easiest and hands-free option for Michael because he could maneuver without Hazel's leash getting caught in his wheels or one of them getting hurt. He ruffled Hazel's fur and was set to head out when he turned & saw his mother make her presence known by giving him a good morning greeting. Michael greeted her back warmly with a bright smile. Julia walked into the little girl's room before pulling out hair clips and a brush. "You don't talk funny at all sweetheart". Alexis asking this question alarmed Julia. Did kids at her school say that to her? Once she finished the braids she turned her daughter around to face her. "I think you should wear the hearing aids okay?" She suggested.

Now downstairs Julia puts Alexis in a booster seat that was attached to the dining room chair. She walks into the kitchen and finds some cereal for

Jun- Seo yawned as he slowly stood up from bed, wondering what time it was. Standing up, Jun- Seo passed a hand through his hair as he still felt kinda tired out from work, having worked from 11am until closing time, which was normally at 11pm or 12am. He went to the closet to grab a white shirt for himself before putting it on and leaving the room, having an idea were Nayeon was, considering from all the noise coming from the living room or was it on the kitchen??? Honestly all he heard was noise and he was still tired, it was too early for all this noise to be happening. But just as he was about to close the door, his phone started to ring. Quickly grabbing it, he answered, turning out that it was his mom calling asking about his daughter, Nami Lee. "Yes mother, Nami Lee is doing fine." He answered her before rolling his eyes. "Yes I know you want me to speak with in Korean but I'm barely waking up, please call me back in an hour, that way you can speak with Nami Lee." That was a common ground, with his mom usually speaking to him in korean, and getting annoyed when he answered back in english. "I'll call you back in an hour then." He hung up the phone and started to make his way to living room.
