Kai handed them both one and opened his own. "I am curious oh and Sage the game thinks your a boy... you;re welcome," Kai said putting on his set.


Kat laughed a bit Kai was annoyed at them they'd so have to cuddle him later. Kat got his out and examined it before putting it on.

 

[Ricia]

"oooh... what does that mean?" Sage said openingher box. She looked at it and examined the glasses. "They are just dorky looking glasses...where is the controler?" Sage said.


"The game works from your mind. Those glasses will play the game.. also they know your gender, you can't change it. So Kai much have changed it." Rick said before putting the pair on his eyes.

"Yep," Kai said he was already scrolling though things he tinkered a bit before so he already knew he wanted to be a wizard to throw fire would be fun. He was however unsure of what race to use.


Kat put his on "Yay brain power!" he cheered.

Rick grinned and laughed, "That is a great way to put it Kat." He told the boy. He put the glasses on and started to browse the options.


"its not reading my mind is it..?" Sage said still a bit skeptical, though she did shimmy closer to Kat, the promise to snugle with him while Rick was there, since she did with Kai all morning.

Kat wrapped an arm around her and smiled "Oh cool I can be an elf!" he selected elf and rouge twin daggers as his best weapon.


Kai took a while before deciding on human.

 

[Ricia]

Sage looked at everyone else before putting her own glasses on with a bit of a pout, though she leaned back into Kat's chest, sitting between his legs. She looked through the options and picked a human pole arm. That was what she liked the most. Her character was Male, which made her happy.


Rick also made a human, but his was an actual doul blade class, unlike Kat who picked the rouge class.


When they made it into the world, Death gasped a bit. "Whoa!!" Death said so surprised. She didnt think a video game would be anything like this.


"Wow indeed. This is as impressive as the critics said." Shade said looking around the starting town.

Shadow ran around the group "I'm an elf Im an elf!" he cheered.


"God my clothing is aweful this needs to be remedied." Trickster said picking at his robes.

 

[Ricia]

Death suddenly pointed, "Look Kat! There is a cute girl waving at us!" Death said happily before going to run over to her.


Shade looked at the three with some slight distain. Was he the only normal one here? Because all three of them were being themselves... and that was normal. These people were abnormal...

Shadow ran wish Sage laughing.


"Most likely an NPC," Trickster said looking at Shade "We are the only normal ones,": he said

 

[Ricia]

"YOU'RE NORMAL?!" Shade accused pointing at him. He then face palmed and sighed lightly.


"Welcome to Bliss!" She said happily.


"Thanks." Death said with a bright smile. "What is your name?"


"Avia. I am the tutorial and helper NPC." She said happily.


"What is an NPC..?" Death asked confused by her answer.

Trickster laughed "I am," he said and walked to where Shadow and Death were "An NPC is a non playable character a comuter generated intelegence," Trickster told Death


"Ohhhh," Shadow said

 

[Ricia]

"Oh.. well that sucks." Sage said looking around. "So... when do we kill things...?"


"If you would like, just go to the gate and pick two keywords. If you go to the bill board in town, you can look for the popular places that players love to go to. Here you will find many people who may be able to help or other players your level." Avia said.


"ooh aren't you helpful..." Sage said with a bit of wonder.


Rick shrugged. "I rather just tinker around myself then ask questions. I can always come back later."

"Lets go to random places Death," Shadow said "we can kill things Shade you should come to! we can... what does Boss call it?"


"Level grind?" Trickster asked


"Yeah that!" Shadow said

 

[Ricia]

"I like grinding." Death said with a growing grin of misciviness. Sage's hand in real life wandered over Kat's thigh.


Shade just facepalmed then just sighed again, "Alright, lets just... go randomly grind." Shade said before looking for a 'gate'. It was three pillars with a large gem. Every time someone approached it, it flashed a bit and the person disappeared. "I'm guessing that is it.... so how do we join parties?"


Avia, still being next to them, explained how to make friends and parties. She then explained the various options while setting up parties, such and random or priority loot, NPC dialogue sharing and letting in or kicking other party members. Shade insisted he was party leader... he would not deal with anyone kicking him out because it was funny. However he did send friend requests to Shadow, Death and Trickster.

Trickster laughed at Shad how silly he was to think they;d just kick him they did like him more then that at least.


Shandow purred in game and wrapped his arms around Sage in the real world. "Lets go death, Trickster, hotpants" he said impationtly.


"He's a bit exited," Trickster laughed.

 

[Ricia]

"Shade..." 'Hotpants' corrected with a sigh, however he made a party. Their names changes color to a green instead of white.


Death laughed and ran forward to go to the portal. "What words should we use??" Death asked. She was in a snuggly mood, so Kat could feel her huddle close to him when he wrapped his arms around her.


"I doubt any profane word you can think of is in the system." Shade said, "So keep the two clean."

"Cuddly Rapture!" Shadow cheered.


"What? that so isn't a real keyword... is it?" Trickster asked.

 

[Ricia]

"Um.." Shade said he had a screen open up, which the party could see. It was almost like a slide bar. The first word was 'Ilimla'. Which was the town name. He guessed if people posted keywords on the forum.. the first word told you what town you had to be. As all towns must use the same words."Ilimla Cuddly Rapture.... is is indeed a place." Shade said with a laugh. "But it says here it is level 4."

"So is that bad?" Shadow asked "I bet since all four of us are level one it's like we are level four together!"


"It doesn't work that way," Trickster said

 

[Ricia]

"No that makes sense!" Death said, defending Shadow. "Four on four! Plus we all have battle experience! Stupid game can't beat that."


"No.. Trickster is right. It doesn't work like that... and even if we could hit a guy in real life... in game if our accuracy status isn't high enough, we can't hit squat." Shade said crossing his arms.

"Lets start at our level just to learn what we are capable of," Trickster sugested "Rick can you pick a random first level dungeon?" he asked

 

[Ricia]

"Let me see...." Shade looked about the menu before seeing an option to pick the level of the area. So he did and several area's come up. "Laughing Boat, Violet Peace, Running Pickle, Rich Hole." He said naming off a bunch.

"Running Pickle!" Shadow cheered.


"You do realize... there will not be actuall pickles running right?" Trickster asked

 

[Ricia]

"We all know he just picked it because it involves food." Death said laughing.


"Alright then... Ilimla Running Pickle it is..." With that, they poofed into a new a new area. They were standing on a platform.. and around them was a completely open grass field. There was an occasional tree here and there, but mostly it was grass and flowers.


"Oh... " Sage said looking around.

Kat ran to look around "Oh oh oh look look Death its a tree!"


Trickster laughed and ran through his spell and its stats really fast
