I had a really funny idea for causing a distraction to draw guards to the queens quarters- I even wrote a bar song for charlie to sing

🎵naaaaaaaahhhhhhhh🎵

There's my song

Knowing Charlie, I know it will help and also shock everyone haha
It will help me post the song I wrote two weeks ago and i have been searching for an oppurtunity to use

I'm still intending to join, just that I'm still trying to come up with a fun character that I haven't tried doing yet

You can try being a first lifer or a isekaier haha. But take your time and dm me if I can help
Bacon is fluffy Bacon is fluffy I meant Doc was going to wake her up before running for it
I'll edit my post but he will be crispy if he doesn't move next post.

i am thinking about isekaier, but the abilities is what im thinking hard on.

either i go the same route i usually do with my other characters or try something new.
One idea is a witch/mage with a vast array of spells/magic casts... but she's debuffed by lethargy. like a lazy witch

So a witch with the power to change the world but is too lazy to do so? What would be her weakness or a reason to move?

Lloyd from greatest estate developer wants to be a lazy bastard that lounges all day but keeps having to do more to protect ehat he built up.

> establish the strongest county
> it will die from cholera if he Lazer about

So for your character, what's her scope and what's the reason she'd move despite being lazy?

She enjoys a peaceful life... It would really suck if there was something in the way of that.
For example...
- annoying teammates that keep knocking on her door to go on some random mission (or anyone for that matter for a number of reasons) and she generally wants them to go away unless its for something within her interests (like if you tell her you got this cool grimoire you can give her or money~)
- having to deal with a threat that could damage or obliterate her home that she could easily rebuild with magic but that means she has to repair it in the first place (not to mention all the cleaning before and after + Salvaging) which is a lot of work.
- the need to have money to support her hobby (collecting grimoires and learning the most dangerous magics or the most mundane of spells, literally any spell)/basic living essentials (food, hygiene needs) so she's kinda slowly making potions (mostly medicinal kinds)
- The list can go on, all about creativity to disrupt her leisure.

also lets just add to that debuff, shall we? She's usually quite low on energy so she always has sweets in her bag to keep her energy up (lack of it or overexertion will lead her to take a nap to recover said energy) Coffee also works too

Thinking about it, I could either go with a lethargic witch or a witch that is excessively obsessive over her own hobbies/interests (maybe same reasons can apply to get her to move) considering we already have a lazy character

We dont have a lazy character, but we do have characters with fixations.
Maybe an arrogant witch who obsesses over discovering all kinds of magic and harnessing it?
For the sake of the rp, there would still need to be a way to pull your character from its singular pursuit. Ofcourse I did say in the interest check you could rp as someone evil or does not care, but the world is going to start ending around him or her very soon. I've already alluded to cthulu, greedy gods, undead threat(s), cleansing by dragon breath, and the potential downfall of the elves. So you can play a mage who hunkers down and just does whatever to avoid it if you wanted. I just prefer if you did it in a way that lead to group rp haha.

could be a reason to rp with charlie. He's one of Gears Gears characters and can speak to a coffee god that transcends time and dimensions, but so far is about spreading coffee far and wide it seems. and because it's a medieval age, making sugar cane fields or fruit fields would be a new pursuit.

I'm figuring if I'm gonna make the arrogant type of witch, it's really gonna seem to follow a similar motive to one such anime mage (Frieren) though instead of travelling to reunite with a dead friend, it could be advertised that she'd go on an adventure to collect grimoires and learn more magics the world has to offer from combat related to quality of life types of magic. (The basic premise I have so far as that as an Isekai'er, they come from a modern world that has no magic obviously. Coming into a fantasy world that has magic, it sort of became an unintentional passion and possibly an obsession to learn any and all magic just for the sake of using it and integrating it as part of her normal lifestyle in this new world)

I also think both types of witches can work with Charlie since they'd know what coffee is. Both need it to stay up late at night to study any of the new grimoires they just obtained.

sounds like a good foundation character. You dont need a grandiose purpose at the start but this sounds like a good character with motivations that wont make him/her go into a cave and never come out. xD

are you gonna be a academy student, a farmer, a wandering mage?

I'm figuring a wandering mage who set up a house off the outskirts of the capital since she needs somewhere to store all those grimoires and research topics she discovered through her leisure. (Which you could even use that as an unregistered citizen setting up a dwelling dangerously close to the capital with questions like "This wasn't here yesterday." "Who lives here?" "What's with all those colorful bright lights that come from those windows?" an enticing invitation to go and pick her off~)

I'm also going under a plot that when she was being isekai'd, she was given the knowledge that magic does exist and is already fed a vast array of magical knowledge and magic spells to use. But that more so awakens that obsessive passion to learning all the magic this world has to offer, experiment and research about it on her own too while collecting grimoires to help further her study.

I just got here, if Gaius Danius Griinia Gaius Danius Griinia is fine with it thats cool

Charlie would be very interested in the idea of a world where coffee has spread

Anyway- Any idea how much leveling up would be for Charlie? I gave up on the rest having corresponding dnd sheets so I could better track abilities and spells but Charlie is boring enough it is possible

Sounds good. Are the grimmoires like specialized knowledge?
