only thing I'll highlight in the first post here is after you make your character, we will coordinate how you guys meet eachother.

Any questions concerns or ideas are welcome. I am open to anything related to these genre and am here to answer questions or help you brain storm if need be.

An idea for a connection between my swordmaster and someone's mage/support char (I would expect we would have at least one mage/support):
She is held captive in magic shackles (say, she has immense physical strength but her achiles' heel is magic) in a demon cult's base at the point in the original timeline 10 years ago, and is freed only two to five years later by a person or a group of people who break in the cult's base and free her by the way. The person or one of the group members is a mage (or a support mage) and they become a battle duo for the next 5 years, with the swordmaster's physical strength and the mages defensive capabilities they are in synergy, though still defeated by Malekai in the end. So, upon regressing, the two of them could re-meet much sooner

kay so how do yall want to meet my characters? And would this be right after they "Wake Up" or will there be a time jump between then and the meeting cuz I have ideas for how each wakes up:
Zyn: Goes into hiding
Charlie: Thinks it was a really weird dream and moves on in life (For a bit)
Doc: Wakes up mid medical procedure, thinks for a moment about the ten years then continues

We'll have a time skip once most of us are satisfied with the foundation posts. These posts should be how your character turns their fortunes around and begins planning for the future. If you wish for one of your characters to come later, that is acceptable

This what I got for my character. Call it the first draft.

Name: Volcanica Blackthorn

age: 19

specialty: Support/Control Mage

Vol has a cursed power that allows her to boost, buff a person's physical/magical abilities, like their strenght and resistance. She can also opt for hindering her enemies and burning them with fire. Because this is a curse, there is a price to her power. She must give a piece of her to the person/thing she wants to affect. Be it a strand of hair or a drop of blood, to a limb or even her own emotions. As her power grows so do her magical abilities and the ways she can affect people. The more permanent and important the sacrifice, the more powerful the spell.

Despite this being a curse, it his inherently fire elemental magic at its core.

What was the disaster that befell you? Volcanica slowly sacrificed herself to help her sister, the queen, from the shadows. Buffing her armies and subjects without taking any of the credit, with the goal to support her sister and defeat the Demon King.

Unknown to her, her sister used her power not only to fight the demon, but to conquer other lands and expand her territory, wasting lives and precious time. After the Queen died fighting the Demon Lond, she was blamed and sacrificed as a witch by her own people... by the people she sacrificed so much to protect.

Your station in life: Royalty. Second Princess of the Blackthorn Empire.

Her motiff is that control. In her first life she lavked control over her life. She sacrificed herself following her sister's order to achieve her goals and was burned for it, but this time around she will take matters into her hands and take conteol of her life.

She controls the battlefield using magic to boost her allies and hinder her enemies. Though she can deal damage, imagine it as DoT damage and scraps and stuff. She isnt built for damage. Imagine her tying a strand of her hair around your wrist before a battle to use it as a conduit.

Her magic will take the form flowers, thorns and fire. (Maybe those same flowers/thorns on fire)

She is a tragic character, but despite the dark vibes she does want the best for people. Gloomy and unfriendly but kind.

I was thinking that maybe your character was saved by the Queen, and joined her party. Maybe your character eventually grew in rank and was famous and all, enough to join the final raid on the Demon Lord.

My character has been the one giving the buffs and all from the beginning, but your character probably doesnt know that.

Volcanica is a public figure, so if your character eventually visited the castle with the Queen, they probably have met.

the only thing I would love to see is more on how she will progress. So i'll give a few examples.

in the regressor of the fallen family, he had knowledge of secret hero arts from his past life(from a book) and he sought out a dwarf to build his land and help cultivate his land so that his family could prosper.

The mc of the ultimate of all ages uses his martial knowledge to help stronger people advance...for a fee. Since the fee counts as energy he progresses through skill and extortion.

For a simpler example I would have made my character hunt monsters and use their remains to grow stronger through crafting.

So I know your character has a curse that allows her to give something up to help others. As an isekai character who wakes up again years before the fall, how does she use her expertise and knowledge to try and change her fate? What specific method, strategy or manipulation of the world will let her overcome the curse and circumvent it for instance. So she can have her cake and eat it too(just as an example).

To me to make it authentic isekai cheat character you gotta think of a method to cheat :evil smirk:

Keep in mind such manipulations can be beaurcratic in nature. They can be allies. They can be manipulation of future world events or tricking her mom the queen. Just need an idea of her initial approach in this regard

Darkbloom The only thing I would like to see same as chiester. What is the general approach caelum will take to reverse his fortunes now that he can cheat with his future knowledge? how does he intend to overcome the strain and disasterous nature of his magic?

an example i can give is from "a returners magic should be special", the mc got the attention of the academy staff as his launching pad. What measures and methods will caelum use going forward? :3

What measures does charlie think of to counter act the coffee so he can become like the squirrel from over the hedge
What does poor eddie think of to reverse his fortunes?
Is zyn going to abandon the sword or will she use her knowledge of future events to circumvent and conquer the blade?

love all three heroes. just wanna see if any of them cultivate, cheat with a system, get help x organization for x reasons. like the isekai cheaters taht they are
