Skyhunter
Bringer of Change
With Okras' sudden episode, Oata was quickly upon to help his father, " Father! " Oata called with surprise in his eyes, he knelt down besides the old badger chief, helping him lay down to get air more, as almost all the badgers moved to surround the old chieftain, Oata pulled out his axe and pointed it at the incoming cluster of worried people, " Stay back! Give him room to breathe! " He roared, his voice being loud enough and scary enough to make everyone back off, Oata dropped his axe and pointed at a healer, " You, healer! Come help with his affliction! " He ordered just as one of the healers came to see what was wrong with the badger. Oata watched the healer do her work, Oata looked a bit confused. Again? So, this has been happening for a while then. The warrior chieftain was thinking. When Okras declared this hunt to be his last, Oata closed his eyes for a moment to think, his face was one of sadness for a moment but then they opened up again and he was the hardened warrior again. When Okras asked him, not as a chieftain but as a father, to guide and lead his tribe. Oata looked a bit conflicted with the idea, he looked up at Tarofry and Gnarlate, both weren't good picks, Tarofry's inexperience would doom the tribe and Gnarlate's ferocity would have him lead the tribe into self-destruction. Oata would have to think on this, but he looked at his father in his old and hardened eyes, " Yes, father. " Oata placed a hand on his shoulder before standing up and walking away. He needed to think and allow Okras time to rest. They would have to hunt after this badger while they still had time to, and it would have to be soon as their rage induced sibling was still out there, in pain and angry. He needed to be put to rest.
Hunter stared at the warrior before them, with the leaving of both Vasimur and the stranger Alys, Hunter felt a bit more comfortable now, Shappa approached asking him what caused the strange multi headed snakes to attack, Hunter stared the young woman, " Most likely the noise and disruption the badger tribe and werebadger caused made them jump out or forced them out. " Hunter stated, while he wasn't completely sure, it made the most sense. " They could have done it as a desperation move on food as well, no warriors fell so far from them, and the dead have been dealt with already. It's hard to say. " But just as he had finished speaking, Okras had fainted or had some sort of episode in which caused the young Shappa to run off to tend to him, Hunter turned his head to see David, " Healer you say? " Hunter sounded doubtful, " Hmm, as you say warrior. " Hunter said looking over his equipment with crossed arms, " I am Hunter of Skies, or Hunter for short. " The native american looked over David, " If you are to help then you know the situation and how dangerous it is. I respect that, you have risk of losing your limbs or life and decided to stay. " Hunter uncrossed his arms, " Very well. If the badgers trust you, then I will. " Hunter didn't have the look of someone with a trusting personality, he had a hardened warrior's and one of a serious man. " Do you know pour enemy? " He asked, he knew going to Okras' side would only smother the man, so he wanted to try and keep his worries off the old chieftain for the time being until he was better.
