Either through magic, or circumstance, your soul has been pulled from your original world and placed into a new one: this one.

Guided briefly by a mysterious deity, you learn fragments of your purpose. Why were you chosen? What became of the world you left behind? And what awaits you in this strange realm? The answers may bring clarity or leave you with even more questions.

The world you now inhabit teems with fantastical races, untamed magic, and boundless opportunities for growth. You will find others like yourself—transmigrated souls—and uncover a land caught in a cycle of endless turmoil. Demon lords, plagues, wars, and disasters perpetually halt progress, dragging civilizations to the brink of collapse.

Your task is both clear and uncertain: break the cycle and help this world evolve—or abandon such lofty goals and carve your own path in the chaos. The choice is yours.

How To Start Roleplaying​

• 1. Check out some of the Lore of the world to get an idea of the character you want to play. Hop into the discord and ask as many questions as you can! Everyone is happy to help!
• 2. Fill out the Character Skeleton You can choose from a variety of [Skills] to build your character up. Make sure you ask LOTS of questions! Everyone is happy to help!
• 3. Once your character sheet is ready, post it Here
• 5. Wait for the "Great Scene" reaction from Novama. Once you've got that, you're free to seek out a roleplay.

These are some basic rules you should learn before joining the adventure and creating your very own Isekai story. If you have any questions or notice something missing, feel free to message Novama. We’ll update rules as needed and notify you when changes are made. Don’t stress about remembering everything!

Basic Rules

• Be Respectful: If you have any questions or issues, reach out to Novama or the Mods.
• Tag or notify players when you’re waiting for their response.
• No X-rated content! Keep it clean, though romance is allowed.

Roleplay Rules

• Create Your Character: Submit a character sheet and wait for it to be approved, before joining an RP.
• One RP at a Time: Your character can only participate in one RP at a time (World RPs/Community events are an exception).
• Write in 3rd Person: Include at least a few sentences per post—describe actions, dialogue, or changes in the scene.
• World Canon: Only finished and graded RPs become part of Isekai Hell’s lore.
• Narrators Roleplays are lead by "Narrators" The narrator controls the scene and any non player characters. Including companions and summons.
• Posting Pace: Posting pace is usually up to the narrator, however the basic etiquette is to avoid back-to-back posts. Timing rules may vary during combat.
• Player Absence: Let others know if you’ll be away for a while or are leaving the RP If gone for a week without notice:
  - 1v1 RPs: End and are graded for partial rewards.
  - Group RPs (3+ players): Continue based on the group’s decision.
• PVP Rules: Player vs. player combat is allowed, but a Mod must oversee it unless all parties agree on the outcome.
• Character Changes: Only make changes between RPs. Every time you edit your character sheet, mark what you did in your changelog.
• Weakness/Core: All characters must have a key weakness—a vital part of them that, if damaged, could destroy them.
