Is there an equivalent to "Interest Checks"?

Coming over from RP Guild to see how good it is around here, and do not see anything resembling it (title). Am I blind or is there nothing like it?

Assuming you mean a post to check on interest in a theme/roleplay idea, people post them the in the recruitment threads and usually include "interest check" in the post title.

I find it rather redundant. If the title sounds interesting, regardless of if there is an "interest check" also in the title they would check it out. I myself always ignore it when it says "interest check".

@Maeve Valor 'interest check' usually mean the roleplay is yet to be created and the poster want to see if people like the roleplay idea, so it's to distinguish the thread from one where the roleplay has been created and now recruiting

Its also for that reason why we call the section "Recruitment" instead of just Interest Checks so people who have a game already live but need new people to fill the ranks can post in there too. But yes an interest check typically implies that its still be worked on.
