Fandom Is It Wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?

Lucian walked out of the shop...that Celia girl seemed to be just full of energy. He walked around for a while before making it into the Freya Familia headquarters, even as silent as he was he had a hell of a presence. He looked at Lucy and stared at her. I don't recognize her...Someone new? He thought to himself before setting the medium armor down.

Hoturi took the napkin and nodded then says" i'm hoturi and yes i can see your new it's been a while since we had a women besides the goddess so a change is nice", hoturi paused for a minute or so then says " This joker next to me is my friend Hadrian, feel free to talk to him about basic familia stuff it's to much hassle for me". @Trust @LucianGrey7971 and anyone that wants to jump in

I noticed someone staring at me and shuffled uncomfortably before beckoning them over, my claws clearly visible showing i was an adventurer and not a supporter. Nice to meet you Hoturi" i said while turning back to him "wait, so there are no other women in this familia apart from the goddess? Also nice to meet you too Hadrian" i said with a happy smile after finally reaching my destination @Leo Radomir @LucianGrey7971

Lucian watched as she beckoned him over before turning back to her conversation. "...." He instead went to his room and began equipping his new armor. Lucian reached over and grabbed his Claymore sword, strapping it to his back before donning his shield. It was still lighter than he was used to...but shouldn't pose that much of a problem. He started heading towards the door, apparently the new girl was still talking with the others.

Hoturi smirked and says" so you're one of those kinds of girls ay, well having you around will be another reason not to be bored around here, i don't mind training with you till you get the hang of things round here".

Lucian looked at her with his cold expressionless eyes. "...Lucian." He said simply, this was the second person he had met with an extremely excitable personality...did he piss someone off? "I'm going to the Dungeon...anyone think they can keep up?" he asked, not really expecting a response but it was out there.

"Keep up? Oh, i can do that easily! Thats why they call me light! Because im a lightweight, move fast and strike with speed i always say!" I smiled, not having been very far into the dungeon before. Hoturi slyly grinned and says" Ill leave you to think on that but right now i feel like killing some monsters, after all i'm not really in the mood for party type stuff, but if you do as well as you say you can i'll treat you to what ever you want with in reason ofcourse".


Hoturi then quickly followed after the man and didn't take long to catch up, ' she's going to be a lot of fun to tease maybe i'll even make her like jelly in my hands just for shits and giggles to see how she reacts'.

"....." Lucian didn't say a word to either of them...he did however question his decision to go with a group instead of alone...these two were noisy. As long as they can keep up in the Dungeon I don't really care...Lucian thought to himself.

As they walk continue to walk, hoturi says" that's fine after all you can't grow stronger if your dead well not come back the way you were that is even if you were brought back by dark arts" ' this guy kinda annoys me, walks in a room and idiots and gawkers are like whos personaly i don't give a toss about most people, i've lived far to long and i've grown used to wearing a mask for most'.

Lucian stopped suddenly and turned his eyes to Hoturi and Lucy ".....Ah...I guess I should have asked sooner..." Lucian ran his hand through his hair, a bit embarrassed by his own inattentiveness though looking at his face you'd never be able to tell. "What level are the two of you?"

"hmm? Oh! So you do speak! I am level 2 so you know" i was a little taken aback after hearing Lucian speak to us, last time he spoke he was just sorta speaking to the room ans I wasn't going to let him slip back into his silence again. "What level are you? @LucianGrey7971 @Leo Radomir

"...Weak enough to still need to train everyday...Strong enough to not die." Lucian said after a time, now he was thinking about how far down could he go without them being in serious danger. A level 2 complicated things a bit, but it wouldn't be that bad if the other was level 3...

"Gee mister.. You sure do know how to make a girl feel special..." I mumbled, a little disheartened at him calling me weak. "I have a skill though, i hit harder the faster i am!" I said, trying to perk myself up rather than be sad

"....2" Lucian lied, not because he had to, not because he felt superior, not because he was embarrassed...it was his nature to keep things to himself, if that meant letting others believe he was below them then so be it. He wouldn't attack first when they got to the dungeon...he'd adjust his movements to the others's and go from there. This girl seemed quite proud of her speed...it wouldn't do for him to upstage her...ESPECIALLY since she was in his Familia. She'll find out about me sooner or later...Ah well, not like it matters. She should have done some research on the Familia she was joining...not that I'm THAT famous, Lucian thought to himself...which was a lie, he was starting to get noticed in public by more experienced adventurers...it was a hassle.

"That makes us equal! Oh yeah, one more question, what do you fight with?" I asked, curios to what his weapon of choice was, mine, obviously was the the claws, apart from those i was wearing so light leather armour and what seemed to be an empty purse @LucianGrey7971

Lucian lifted his arm with the shield on it before pointing to his back. "I'm pretty strong so it's a shield and a Claymore for me...though the Claymore is getting a little beat up...I'll have to replace it with something heavier soon." he said, the most unbelievable part being that he claimed he could correctly maneuver a heavy two-handed weapon with one arm while using a shield.

Hoturi smiles as they talk and then says" I'm level two but i'm close to three, as for my weapon well it all depends on the situation i'm at the time, i find it easyier to move with out a shield but i do get beat on sometimes so win some lose some as the saying goes".

...Do...other people lose when they go in the dungeon? Lucian almost started to visibly sweat from not being able to relate to that statement...sure he had always expected that one day he'd be over-powered, to be worn out to the point of retreat or exhaustion...but it never happened. How was he supposed to match their abilities now? It was hard enough being more experienced than them, now he had to fake being tired as well? And while his thoughts would have sounded egotistical to others, Lucian himself was not aware of the two abilities that kept him undefeated in the Dungeon...because Freya never told him.

"Why you sweating mr.strong arms?" I giggled at him, trying to joke it off but he seemed really worried, she didn't believe him when he said he was level 2. "Hey uh... I like alot of things and can deal with alot of things but... I don't take too kindly to liars, i like to know who i can and cannot trust" i said with a slightly insane glint in my eyes and a happy smile on my lips @Leo Radomir @LucianGrey7971

"Jumping into a group with people you don't know must have been quite the leap of Faith then." Lucian said very evenly, without any emotion and without any malice "Trust is gained through hardships, if you have to trust something....Trust that since you're in my Familia...I'll be looking out for you. That's all we can truly ask of anyone...as for you..." Lucian turned to Hoturi, "...You're in this party so it goes without saying that I'll look out for you as well." Lucian gave an enthusiastic thumbs up to Hoturi which clashed extremely with his expressionless face.
