Power: (Blessed Item) Dominic's power manifests as a Blessed Item, his umbrella. It is a simple black umbrella but has great significance to him. It is the last thing his father gave him before he moved from Slovakia to America. His father told him "It would be a shame not to have an Umbrella, I hear it rains a lot." Since then the umbrella has always been close by, and he keeps it on him even on the driest day. The power manifested in it gives the entire umbrella the strength of a hardened sword, as well as the sharpness. There is an umbrella cover, and while that is on the umbrella acts as it normally would, but once out of that cover it takes on the properties of a sword, with immense stopping and cutting power. When opened it has the power of a shield with bladed edges, and can deflect most attacks. When it comes in contact with water the umbrella will glow blue from the underside. This light gives Dominic the strength and speed of a trained athlete but nothing inhuman.


Ultimate Hate/Hope: svätý dážď (holy rain) Dominic's ultimate Hope summons up a heavy rainstorm in the area within a mile radius of him. If he moves so does the storm, always following him. The rain is entirely holy water, causing pain to weaker Hopeless and discomfort to stronger ones. This rain also increases the effects of the umbrella's glow, giving him inhuman strength and speed, as well as inhuman senses.


Likes: chocolate, rain, water, The color blue, overdressing for every occasion.


Dislikes: vanilla, fire, being unprepared, pajamas, harming others


Background: Dominic was born and raised in Slovikia, and was raised there by his mother and father. When he was 12 his mother died of cancer, and Dominic began studying to be a doctor as soon as he reached college age. His father did not believe that he could have a successful life where they lived, and had contracted a very deadly disease himself. With his remaining savings he sent Dominic to America to finish his education, and gave him a black umbrella with his name engraved on the bottom telling him. "It would be a shame not to have an Umbrella..." Dominic refused to go to America without his father, but his father passed two days later. After attending the funeral Dominic caught a flight to America and began studying medicine in California. He finished his education when he was 23 and began work as a doctor in a local hospital in the pediatrics department. It was his belief that if you can held people at a young age you can help them for their whole life. Dominic was adamant about doing well in his job, and continue to go through further education on the side of his job. He was visited in a dream like everyone else, and when he woke it was raining outside. Once he went outside with his umbrella it began to glow, and he found the power inside of it.


Personality: Dominic is level headed and believes that all people deserve respect. He believes very strongly in his work and thinks that all human life is precious. He will stop at nothing to help others and very often can be found inside a book. Nobody would call Dominic antisocial though, as he loves to spend time with others and makes friends easily. As a fighter he is headstrong and calculating. He does everything he can not to take life, but will defend himself and others at any cost.

Power: (Fruits of Hate) Arius has the power over decay, ranging from the living to the inanimate. As long as he is making contact with the object he is able to cause it to fall apart as if a hundred years passed within a moment. Human flesh will fall apart like a corpse and a piece of wood will crumble into splinters. Naturally the longer he holds onto something the more it will rot but a moment of contact will at least cause that area to feel sore or weaken. When not using his power he appears sick, his cheeks are hallow, there are deep bags under his eyes, he is deathly thin, and occasionally he will cough blood. It is like he is dying from the inside out, a walking skeleton. The only reason these factors don’t impact him in reality is that, for his body only, he is able to stop all decay from happening which includes age and the natural deteriorating factors it brings. His power took this form because for many years he watched people coast through life, not happy but not unhappy, they seemed like the living dead to him. There was no point or meaning in their existence; their only point in life was to die and feed maggots.


Ultimate Hate/Hope: When activated no longer does Arius have to make contact to cause the decay to set in, there is an invisible bubble which surrounds him and follows his movements. Everything in that area will shrivel and die and the closer to the center the stronger the effect. Which makes his touch the most deadly, like the hand of death himself has touched your skin. He has little control of what is affected in this bubble; even allies can be harmed unless he is concentrating fully on protecting them.

Dislikes: people trying to convert him away from his purpose, politics, wasting, the police, modern humanity


Background: He was raised in a highly religious house and when he grew up he joined the church and swore his life to God alone. Even though he prayed long and hard every day he never learned what his purpose on earth was, that is until he received the dream. When he received this dream he thought that it was God finally answering his prayers, so when the voice told him to denounce humanity and destroy it, he agreed without a second thought. Now he travels performing ‘Gods’ will to those that waste the life gifted to them, freeing them from a pointless lifestyle.


Personality: Arius will at times speak with a cryptic or biblical tone, although to him it seems normal. He may have been raised with pure values he has become rather judgmental and without a second thought he will tell you all of your flaws no matter how rude. He has little care for himself or others, he has a purpose and nothing will stop him, so once he has a target he will forgot his wounds or even to eat until his task is done. The only way to earn his respect and possibly his mercy will be to have a larger purpose in life and that purpose must be one that takes over your life entirely, anything less and you will seem just like a zombie to him.

Kelly is an extremely pretty girl, with big vivacious curly hair, and adorable dimples drilled into the apples of her cheeks. She stands at 5'2" with a flat chest and a large, young butt. She weighs 130, and she is proud of her weight. She has this really pretty medium dark shade of hazelnut skin, with a couple bright brown freckles beside her ears. She is convinced that she is the ugliest girl in the world, so she cakes on unnecessary makeup.

Hope. She will boost up on all of her divine-ness, with the power of ten fully grown bodybuilder men. She will have saints and deities guarding her from above, wishing and soon giving her all the strength she needs. She has extremely good luck during battle.

Background:

Kelly grew up in Guiana, with her single mom after her father got shot in the head. She is an extraordinary swimmer. She loved to cook as a kid, and her family wasn't very rich either, so she enjoyed feeding her family, even when they starved. She would be jealous of the other girls dolls, because she couldn't afford any, until one day when she met her best friend, who shared her doll with her. Her earliest emory of that friend, was both of them making clothes for the warn down doll.

Name: Katarina Dulce

Power: (Fruits of hate) Katarina has the power over illusions, only with a certain distance can she trigger one's nightmares to seem as if they had come true. Her illusions trap the minds of her victims into what they believe is completely real as the feelings of pain seem to actually hurt. The longer one is under her illusion, the stronger the illusion gets. Since getting her power Kat had first practiced on animals and did her best to see just what she could do. Then her curiosity grew and her experiments turned to living human beings. Which turned out that her illusions lasted longer on humans then it did on animals. When it comes to illusions they can be happy, bright, quiet, calm or scary but in order to be useful in a fight she uses their fear against them.


Ultimate Hate/Hope: When her ultimate hate is on, Katarina is able to bring illusions to life and using them as her own personal soldiers. Most of her illusions haven't been soft or kind looking creatures but instead blood thirsty beasts. Usually the illusions brought to life is because of those around her, the things they fear the most if that is what she wants to focus on.


Likes: The night, brownies, baking, rocky road ice-cream, others reactions, fear, hatred among others, swimming, art & music, sleeping


Dislikes: Lemons, grapefruit, being bossed around, people trying to manipulate her


Background: Katarina was born within Italy and into the Dulce as the second youngest child which meant that since she wasn't the one to inherit her family wealth and business, she was ultimately ignored or left alone. At the age of 3 years old Katarina understood her position in the family, not minding that most of her time was taken up by lessons. Lessons for the piano, education, martial arts, swimming as well as etiquette teachings with private tutors. During her free time Katarina was usually hiding somewhere within the mansion in places that the maids and butler couldn't find in order to play by herself. Of course they couldn't Katarina was the only one who knew the ins and outs of the entire property. Her butler had taught her about God. A man who had a kind side to him... and a side that knew when it was time to send his rage among those who deserve it. After getting the dream with God, Katarina knew she was meant for more then just being a Dulce. Doing her job as a hopeless, Katarina makes those who are far to toxic feel the pain and fear as punishment. Allowing them to live and try to repay for their sins. Though sometimes people are truly meant to suffer; meaning Katarina scares them so much that they go mentally insane. One way or another.


Personality: If Katarina doesn't like someone she would prefer not to get mixed up in their problems and would rather stick to a nice book and bowl of rocky road ice-cream. A quiet woman who uses her resources to what she can, Kat is observant but tends not to voice her opinion on things. Though she has a cool temper Katarina isn't one to allow others to just shove her around; not afraid to fight back. Many don't see her as a threat because of her 5"4 height, innocent gaze and silent nature. Who would be an idiot not to use that to their advantage? Katarina sure knew that even ones appearance can get them far. Use all your tools.

Age: 26




Hopeful/Hopeless: Hopeful

Power: Blessed Item: A large, antique key (picture below).

She can create miniature storms and direct winds where she wants them to go,

as well as some electric powers. The electric powers she uses rarely though,

because she's drained of energy after she uses them.

She wears the key and gains these powers, but if she takes the key off,

she doesn't have the powers anymore. The key belonged to the

person who raised her, her grandmother, before she was killed in a home invasion.

Ultimate Hate/Hope: Her ultimate hope would be a powerful storm,

all around her and coming from the sky itself. A small version of this happened

when she came home to find her grandmother dead in a pool of blood.

Horrified and shocked, Johanna (who had become a hopeful a few weeks before) screamed,

and created a storm inside her grandmother's living room.

But it was tiny compared to what she could do, if that power was unlocked.

Background: Jo grew up on the border of Idaho and Utah, in a small town that barely

had fifty inhabitants. She learned everything from her grandmother's extensive library,

and loved to play in the woods and lake around her house.

She stayed there, not even going to school. The state didn't know about her,

and she slipped through the cracks of the system. When she was just twenty years old,

she had a dream, and followed the light.

Waking up the next morning, her grandmother gave her the key,

saying that it was too heavy for her neck and

"I would love to see it on a young, pretty neck again."

She didn't really understand her dream, or the significance

of the necklace, until that fateful day when she nearly

tore the roof off of her home. She ran away from the town, and

eventually met up with another hopeful, Rhiannon, who calmly

explained what hopefuls were and what they were supposed to do.

Now Rhiannon is missing, and Jo has been trying to find her ever since.

Personality: Happy-go-lucky and a generally chill person,

Jo always has a small smile on her face, and is a go-with-the-flow kind of gal.

She's a good fighter, but believes that the hopeless can be saved and

reconverted to the light, which has yet to actually happen.

Despite her trials, she tends to push forward,

always being polite and above all, kind. But she doesn't make friends easily,

the two most important people in her life leaving so suddenly.

She's also a bit of a nomad, and never stays anywhere for very long.
