One Thousand Club
Felix and Arius were walking through the streets when they started to feel an uncomfortable pull. Seemingly unconsciously Felix turned in that direction but Arius could tell that something was wrong. He shook off the teenager and stood on his own, focusing on the direction his gut was pulling him, "Death will be found in that direction..." he murmured to himself yet in the end he followed his young guide all the way to the clock tower. With caution Arius no longer knew he had, he quickly jumped behind a tree when he saw a familiar man sitting in the center of the area. Felix asked who that guy was to spook Arius so much, squinting at the form. The hopeless were far enough away that their ability to sense others was not activated but their eyes could just make out the form. "He walks a path like ours but his is not cast in shadows but sunlight" Arius spoke from behind the tree, knowing that a third fight would be too much for anyone, let alone him, without serious repercussions. It was remarkable that Dominic was still able to fight with only a few hours of rest.
Felix looked dazed for a moment before scratching the back of his neck, " well lucky for us, we don't have to go any further, turns out the boss is on her way already. She doesn't want us to intervene, no matter what happens." Arius didn't make any motions that he heard Felix yet he didn't make any actions to pursue the hopeful. A few hopeless began wandering into the area yet only one really grabbed ones attention. Walking closer to the clock tower was a tall and thin woman who was grinning widely. Her hair fell in an unruly manner down to her waist and moved as if her hair had it's own will, this woman wore a lose fitting sweatshirt and jeans. "There is the Boss, stay back." Felix warned Arius.
She stepped towards the doctor and laughed, "Are you the one who is summoning us? No... there was another who set this web. Your just the spider waiting for the flies" She chuckled, "Shame your little web isn't strong enough to hold this insect." The woman then raised her arms above her head and like a tidal wave, hundreds of insects and bugs flew from the trees and out of her clothing to swarm in the skies above. There were so much buzzing in one area that it looked and sounded like a thunder storm, there was no way the humans nearby did not see and hear what was going on. This woman, the Boss, was telling the world of their existence "Let all Hopeful know this is a declaration of war!" She shouted to Dominic above the buzzing of the wings, "We have gathered and will no longer hide from you or the ignorant humans of this city. When the moon is full, we shall unleash our wrath and know that not a single child will escape. Prepare yourself, Hopeful, for we will be ready." A single flip of her finger sent the bugs plummeting towards Dominic, giving the mysterious woman the chance to slowly walk away and approach Felix. " We are heading back to base, bring this boy you told me about." She said, nodding towards Arius as she fled the clock tower.
