Realistic or Modern Iraq War RP

Looking for up to 5 people to participate in a military roleplay. Era is 90s to mid 2000s (think black hawk down and generation kill). Scenario will be determined by players.

-Faction is US Army
-Player ranks can range from E1 to E6
-Player specialties can be anything, but rear echelon troops are preferred (truck drivers, engineers, military police, and Intel specialists)
-If you would like a higher rank, you can ask and provide a good reason why, ill deal with these case by case

Trying to keep this beginner friendly but if you're familiar with the military, don't let that stop you, I just want to keep this open for everyone

Interested? Good! Send a character sheet to this link (Realistic or Modern - 15th Transport, Detatchment Alpha) with:
-Your character's name, rank, and nickname if applicable (you can use whatever nickname but keep it grounded)
-A brief backstory (why you joined, character hobbies, family, etc.)
-A description or even a picture of your character if you would like (NOT necessary)

I might join in. I've been wanting to do some sort of realistic gritty military RP that is just about soldiers bonding and ultimately just trying to help each other survive.

I already have a bit of a character idea too. Perhaps an Iraqi-American who serves as a sort of interpreter for his squad.
